The overall cleanliness of…read morethe facility is unacceptable. there is a smell of urine throughout, many areas appear dirty and poorly maintained giving concerns about hygiene and infection control. The attitude of the staff is troubling. Most are unfriendly, unapproachable, and lack warmth and compassion. My Dad was constantly falling and injuring himself which shows me he was not being watched. I was extremely worried about my father's health and the overall standard of care. He seemed to have declined faster in his dementia at this facility. Once he was moved to another facility, my father is now blossoming. If you care for your loves ones. Don't send them here!!

What I really wanted to harp on is the service. Putting your family member into homes like these can be very disconcerting -- are they taking care of her? Feeding her properly? Giving her love and attention? YES! Peace of mind is something too valuable in instances like these. My grandmother is currently staying here, and she is treated wonderfully. Her hairstyles change more often then mine, and her nails are always groomed/painted. The staff knows her by name, and are able to make considerate conversation, if only momentarily. Your loved one will be well taken care of here, and that, is invaluable.

The staff is efficient and friendly. The chef and his team provides quality cuisine for every palate. The decor is relaxing and the features are well-planned. Love the swimming pool that has a ramp with a rail for seniors needing the added support upon entry and exit. Facing beautiful Lake Charity, the views are spectacular. An up and coming community with a traffic light for easy access to busy Maitland Blvd.

Not far from restaurants, a Farmer's Market, I-4 expressway. Lots of areas to sit in screened in porches, beautiful gardens outside, nice pool and a walking path. It has lots of potential. However, I cannot highly recommend at this time. They are pretty disorganized. When I initially met with the marketing director, I was told that the food was delicious with many options. The service is ridiculously slow in the dining area and far from being delicious. Quality is inconsistent. Food choices are limited with lots of carbs, mostly meat options , very limited fresh green vegetables or fresh fruit. They are very short-staffed. Servers seem burned out. Trelago The Grove is trying to hire more staff. Director is very opened to suggestions and making changes. He seems like he is really trying to improve things and he is hands-on. Newly hired Activities Director is warm, enthusiastic and very helpful. Outside trips are starting to be planned but up until recently, it was very limited. In a senior living facility, I was surprised to see the kitchen has high countertops requiring barstools. I think that most of my concerns relate to being new, limited staff and as I said there is good potential to improve. I will update in a few months.

The facility was wonderful but he missed the Jewish culture he was used to -having lived in the Bronx, Westchester County NY and Boynton Beach. Jewish Pavilion brought that part of his life back to him with Yiddish classes, personal visits, Shabbat, holiday celebrations and also pet therapy. JP was also a great help to me - I felt like I had extended family helping me through his last years. This is a vital service for seniors and their families in Central Florida.

Debra Beckman was extremely kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I felt that our baby was being handled with care. We were given clear directions and were even allowed to record the session! The office was very clean & they even offered complimentary coffee/tea/flavored water, etc. The price was very reasonable, and I felt we got our money's worth out of the appointment. It felt like a genuine experience and I'm thankful for direction on how we can help our baby at home with exercises.

Dr. Beckman was cheerful, humble, knowledgeable and very positive that 1) baby was born knowing how to latch on to me...we just needed to remind him. And 2) baby should have no problem switching back-and-forth between nipple and bottle it was just a matter of strengthening the muscles that were weak. That was such a relief for a first time mommy. She went though a series of simple tests and gave us exercises to practice. Three days later he had his first decent latch. And ever since then it's been getting better and more consistent with longer stretches of time. We are not even two weeks since our visit with Dr. Beckman and today we've done more breast-feeding than pumping! Dr. Beckman and associates are professional, friendly, and prompt. Her process is backed by science and research, and carried out with kindness and compassion. I would highly recommend this office. Baby and I are forever grateful.
