I had a very scary and traumatic experience here. In the restroom, the sharps/needle disposal is…read moremounted on the wall directly behind the door. It was overflowing, uncovered, and not clearly marked. My young daughter reached for it and poked herself with a needle while i helped my other daughter in the restroom. I didnt see it because there were no visible signs it was covered by the door and i had my daughter stand next to it while she waited for us. We spent 4 hrs in the ER and now we have to do more testing. To make things worse, the staff had no idea what to do. No one apologized or offered any real help. One employee even tried to open the sharps container with just one glove on -- showing a complete lack of training on how to handle biohazards. If staff don't know how to manage this safely, why even have it accessible? This is a serious safety hazard and needs to be addressed immediately. Parents, please be careful. I left my information at the gas station no one has bothered to call us.

It's kept clean, the gas is fairly priced compared to competitors, and the cashiers are usually friendly. They keep making improvements - subtle and otherwise - to their food / beverage area to the left as you enter the shop. It's like a mini-mart on steroids as far as the options that are available in the organized aisles. The also have just about every kind of beverage you can imagine. Their snack and quick meal choices are where they keep making changes and improvements. One highlight is that they seem to stock every kind of condiment one might want, whether it's flavored creamers for the coffee, or toppings for hot dogs. It seems like someone put a lot of thought into offering choices that people actually like and use at home, instead of cheaping out with generic and minimal offerings. The restrooms get a lot of use, but are usually well stocked with essentials and kept as clean as possible. The center is shared by passenger vehicles and big rig trucks, but it's laid out in such a way that they don't intersect and get in each other's way. This seems to be a well-run establishment.

The Cinnabon branded buns and rolls are freshly made onsite. The staff was very friendly. There are several tasty options available. They offer a four-pack of minis, full size cinnamon rolls, to cups of Cinnabons laced with white icing, caramel or both. Quite delicious.

I went to this location on 08/31/2026. The staff was friendly and assisted me with getting into…read moreshower four because the code wasn't working. Initially, the "occupied" sign was showing on the lock. The employee apologized and said they had just remodeled the showers and that the PIN should have worked. He didn't know why the lock reflected "occupied." I always request a handicap-accessible shower because I am a fall risk and need the rails to hold onto. However, this shower only had one rail under the knob. I had nothing to hold onto on the side of the shower. When I turned the shower on, the water immediately started flowing onto the main floor instead of staying on the shower floor. My shoes and bag immediately got wet, and the shower rug provided was soaked. Given that this was such a small shower, it felt like the whole bathroom was flooded. While I had the shower running, I noticed that the water pressure would decrease whenever a toilet was flushed, whether it was my neighbor's toilet or one of the public toilets. This was extremely frustrating and delayed my shower. I hope Love's is able to fix these issues. Until then, I'll be avoiding this location for showers.

Funny how Ive heard so many people talk about Loves Travel Stop but never knew what they…read moremeant...lol... So basically I've never been. So it's a stop, gas station and convenience store. Basically something off the freeway that's kind of in the middle of nowhere. We stopped by for the restroom which would be the first time here. Honestly, it wasn't much to it. It's like walking into a 7'11 or your local AM/PM. Your traditional gas station with your basic. Chips, candies, snack, convenience store. Loads of drinks, of course the hot station with hot dogs and nachos where you help yourself. And then there's the selections of random souvenir you would only see at gas stations. They did have a decent gas station as well as a little dog park that's right next door for the pets to release themselves and get some fresh air. That's a nice little thing added to it. I can say that everyone working there was very sweet and friendly. They greeted everyone that walked through the door which majority was for the restroom. And thanked everyone for stopping by. You don't get that often at places like this. Nothing major but was nice to actually go to one and see what it was all about.

My only problem I have with it is that I always spend more money than I am planning on spending. My warnings about Costco (in General) is that there are certain brands that may be discontinued in the future. That is a bummer when it happens, but it is just part of Costco. Also, the meat and produce needed to be eaten pretty quickly or it may start to spoil. That is a bit of a problem when you get 5 pounds of grapes! But if I ever get home and realize that I bought something that has a problem, I have always been able to return it with little to no problem. I also appreciate how Costo treats their employees. They treat them well and the employees in turn treat me well!

The shop is nicely stocked with snacks, cold drinks, hot popcorn, hot dogs rolling about on the heated trays, and a bunch more. There is an adjoining I HOP. Next to the IHOP is a Popeyes. There are some electric chargers near the Popeyes. Not sure which brand they were. The gas pricing has a ok. Comparable to the multitude of other stations along in that area. The women's restroom is not great though. Older worn toilets and fixtures. No toilet seat covers. The majority of the interior toilet bowl enamel was chipped and worn making it look unclean. I entered several stalls thinking the toilets weren't cleaned (remnants) until I realized the attendant just cleaned them. Besides a restroom refresh, the TA could stand to refresh the parking lot space paint lines in the front lot. The lines are worn out and many drivers are driving straight through all willy nilly while cars are trying to park in the spaces. A bit chaotic.
