DO NOT GO HERE. Horrible staff and service. They will overcharge.

We were having generator problems during the storms and couldn't find anybody that worked on…read moregenerators until we got a referral from someone at the hardware store in PG. After looking at the low reviews, I was a bit concerned about bringing my business here but I have to say my experience was completely different. We mostly dealt with Curtis and he informed me upfront that there would be a $35 charge to check out the generator and if we decided to move forward with the repair that it would be applied to the repair. Turns out, the issue was in a solenoid between the propane tank, and the generator, which was keeping the propane from flowing in. Before realizing this was the problem, he had already checked the oil and spark plug, and charged up the battery and then figured out it was the solenoid where it connected to the tank. Long story short, we got our generator back in a couple days and the total cost was $75, which seemed very reasonable to us. When we went to pick it up, Curtis walked us through the entire process, and also showed us some tips on how to get it started more easily in the future. He commented that he liked working on generators so we know what to do in the future if needed again. Anyway, we had a good experience, and wanted to relay that to others!

The gentleman named Curtis looked at it and put it on his testing machine. The machine made some whirring noises and shortly he returned. To my surprise Curtis told me the alternator was working fine but the trouble was a loose cable which created a short and fried the cable. He was very kind and took a lot of time explaining how important a tight cable is and how to properly attach it. After a long discussion, he said "there is no charge". I was very surprised, I thanked him and left. Lee
