Funny how Ive heard so many people talk about Loves Travel Stop but never knew what they meant...lol... So basically I've never been. So it's a stop, gas station and convenience store. Basically something off the freeway that's kind of in the middle of nowhere. We stopped by for the restroom which would be the first time here. Honestly, it wasn't much to it. It's like walking into a 7'11 or your local AM/PM. Your traditional gas station with your basic. Chips, candies, snack, convenience store. Loads of drinks, of course the hot station with hot dogs and nachos where you help yourself. And then there's the selections of random souvenir you would only see at gas stations. They did have a decent gas station as well as a little dog park that's right next door for the pets to release themselves and get some fresh air. That's a nice little thing added to it. I can say that everyone working there was very sweet and friendly. They greeted everyone that walked through the door which majority was for the restroom. And thanked everyone for stopping by. You don't get that often at places like this. Nothing major but was nice to actually go to one and see what it was all about. read more

I'm not a trucker but needed a potty break and fuel for the car. Both pronto. So on the interstate, I eyed the sign for an upcoming Love's Travel Stop in Patterson. Off I go. The gas pumps have a tap feature which gives me a better peace of mind when using my card. They even have a dog rest area which is next to the gas pump area. There are two gated artificial turf areas, one fur small (30 pounds or less) and other fur big dogs. Those areas are not shaded though and the valley summer heat is no joke. The public restroom is clean and modern, as was the mini mart. The mart has all the customary items and "then some". The "then some" included kitschy souvenirs. The fresh packaged cut up fruit $3.99 looked so fresh; they had grapes, watermelon, pineapple, and cantaloupe. I didn't get any. This Truck Stop is humongous, or course it's not just for truckers, there are plenty of parking spaces for all types of vehicles. Here you can do it all, buy gas food, beverages, souvenirs, the rest rooms are nice and clean, they also have shower facilities. I drive 10 miles out of my way just to get gas from this place as long as you have the Love's app you get $.10 off. I love it. They have food restrooms are clean. They have all kinds of things the cashier greet you coming in no matter what time of the day you come in and with the gas so high over five dollars right now they were 525 one day and then thank goodness it dropped, but now it's 509 but please have your app and save you a little bit of money. read more

When I'm traveling up and down the five my truck stop preference is always loves. They have the cleanest bathrooms, they let me refill my water bottle, they feel clean inside, they have tap to pay at the gas stations. Tap the pay is so important to me because I'm always afraid of getting my information stolen when I put my card in it random gas stations. It has happened to me in the past. They are there but as far as the truck stop they are going downhill. Today you needed to get a physical key to use the shower and you couldn't use the app alone to get it. Then the lady doling out the keys to diamond truckers or whatever accuses me of using a photo of my Love's barcode to get the shower. Just bring the normal usage of the app back. It's definitely worse to have to interact with the employees at this place, not to mention the manager was circling me seemingly accusing me of stealing when it was like look I'd be in the shower right now for free if your app wasn't broken calm the heck down, overly into themselves for people gatekeeping free showers and free soda refills. read more

Another gas station, am I right? But wait! Love's had me falling in love, one dog run at a time. Super clean, friendly staff, plenty of food and drink choices, and discounts on gas... My new favorite spot in town for all my gas/road trip needs. Downloaded the app to get the 10 cent discount on gas. And get this, the promo now has an additional 10 cents off diesel through the end of August. That is enough to have me dropping by on my way in and out of town. They also have a huge stock of DEF for my little diesel SUV. The dog space is a road trip need traveling with the pups. They have a large dog run and a small dog side. Can't stress enough how great this is to not have to drag my dog over to the planters at other gas stations. Lot's of fun snacks inside, my favorite being anything from Snak Club. I do not know anything about a trucker's life, but seems to have lots of options for truckers as well. There is an Arby's attached, always great customer service there. Stopped there to rest. Much preferred this stop vs Santa Nella. Quick off and on freeway. The Love's stop was great. Was clean and helpful staff. Good gas prices and the area had a few options for other food. Nothing near what Santa Nella has but also not as crazy traffic. I would definitely stop here again. They attack me all over the place just trying to get shower and laundry when I was trying to complain to the manager she was super aggressive yelling me with the guy, his name, Saul they threatening me calling me some crazy language all this just because I was trying to take a break. The employees here, including the night manager, are the rudest, most inconsiderate employees of any Love's Travel Stop I've been to (and I've stopped at many of them all over the country. I called this Love's at 7:40 pm on a Friday asking if they did refills on propane for RVs. I was told they do until 9:00 pm. I advised I would be there in ten minutes. When I arrived I was told it was be "about 10 minutes" before they could do the propane fill. Half an hour later I was told by a rude employee that if I didn't like it I could talk to the manager. I talked to the manager and he said they're not going to do any propane tonight because they're short staffed. THEN WHY DID YOU TELL ME YOU COULD WHEN I CALLED? WHY DID YOU WASTE HALF OF HOUR OF MY TIME WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO DO IT?! WHY NOT JUST TELL ME THE TRUTH RIGHT UP FRONT?! DO NOT TRUST THESE LAZY, RUDE EMPLOYEES TO DO THEIR JOBS. Brand new loves couldn't be happier. Great food fast service happy people very clean. If you're traveling with a pet, they have a dog park separated for large dogs and small dogs. That is just lovely our dogs enjoy the chance to run around and stretch your legs and we enjoyed not being worried that they would run away and get hurt Arby's is there any can get a quick hot lunch they also have salads, fruit etc. it's well worth a stop in and easy on and off the freeway read more

This gas station/truck stop/Arby's/shopping center is something special! The food options they have are immense, the restrooms are sooo clean and large and there are so many gas pumps, you're not likely to ever be waiting for one of those. One star is getting taken off because they do charge for wifi. Kind of a huge bummer, especially since there are places to eat here and often those have free wifi if they were on their own. I did have to pay like $3.99 or so for wifi for a meeting I planned to take while I was there. The frustrating thing was the meeting got canceled after I had already paid for the wifi, so I ended up having like 6 hours of wifi for nothing and paid money for.
