I ordered the lunch special which was beef with vegetables and comes with rice and soup. The portions are awesome and the food was delicious. Get their fried rice...Best I have ever tasted! Meat was tender and soup had a great consistency! I also ordered the shrimp appetizer which was really good and had a great crunch to them! They serve beer and wine as well. Impeccable on the cleanliness and service! The owner is wonderful and puts pride in what she serves! If you are in Williams or traveling on highway 5 this is a must stop! I will have to say moving from a large city to a smaller remote county. I was not expecting to find this little hole in the wall Chinese restaurant. Upon entering, you will find a large Buddha stacked with offerings. I ordered the sesame chicken dinner combo and I will say the dinner portion is large enough to feed two adults at least in my household! This has become our weekly takeout spot since moving to the area. My only reason for giving them four stars is because they're only open Tuesday through Sunday. read more

This is one of my top Chinese restaurants. I remember getting introduced to this place by a former student about 11 years ago. He said this is the best Chinese food that I can ever have. And I agree! It's in the top 3. I have tried many Chinese restaurants in different states and this one is worth a try! When I go to Williams which isn't very often, I make sure that I come here. I usually order the sweet and sour pork lunch combo with half white rice and chow mein. There's enough for lunch and take home for dinner :) The service is great. Very attentive always making sure that my water is topped off. The restaurant itself, is like any other Chinese restaurant, nothing special. You don't have to ask me again if I'll come here. Came in on a Saturday about 1230 in the afternoon. I decided on the Hunan beef. They asked me if I wanted white rice on the side I said yes. They didn't say that it was $2.95. It's clearly one of the most popular restaurants in town--when I came for dinner there was only one parking spot left and the place was bustling. Despite how busy it was, we were seated quickly and water was brought to the table right away. We placed our order and were impressed by how fast the food came out. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, and I really enjoyed my meal. One thing to note for first-timers: dinner portions don't automatically come with rice unless you order the family option, and hot tea isn't free either. Not a dealbreaker, just good to know ahead of time. The restaurant has a simple but charming atmosphere, with light Chinese décor, traditional paintings on the walls, and Chinese horoscope placemats at the tables, which was a fun touch. Wow! Who would have thought to go to Williams for Chinese food. You better start thinking it. From the outside you're thinking, "maybe we should try somewhere else". Well don't. It's so clean and nice inside and the service was wonderful. We had beef with mushrooms and shrimp with snow peas. The servings were sufficient that we have enough for another meal. My fam was starving on a road trip and the Turkey and cheese packed sandos were not the vibe. Paul said he had som really good Chinese food in Williams before so I google Williams Chinese food and boom !! The only place in town! While it might be the only Chinese restaurant in town, maybe the reason why is because it is amazing, quick, hot, and fresh I ordered over the phone and paid by card when I arrived. They included silverware and sauce by request. I had paper plates in the car and we were all set to eat in the car while finishing the road trip. The chow mien noodles are what I am still dreaming about. So so delicious! We also got general chicken which had big meaty pieces. The all fried rice is Paul's favorite including chicken beef and shrimp. We also got hot and sour soup, sweet and sour pork, and broccoli beef. All in all I think we sprang for the good stuff and paid $60 for everything. This was at least three good meals for 3 people. Thinking about this now is making me hungry! read more

This place is a diamond in the rough. Every time I come here i received fantastic customer service and even better food. Plenty of space inside to eat. Clean and comfortable. I have never ordered anything that I didn't like. The seafood never smells fishy. My favorite is the sweet-and-sour pork And it's crispy finish with the sauce to go with the house Chow mein. You will never ever have to worry about waiting for your food they are extremely fast at making sure your order comes out fresh and hot. You can't go wrong. Wowza the amount of food you get is insane. The prices at first seemed a bit steep but when you see how much you get it is super worth it. Everything looked so fresh (they were making the noodles there!) Highly recommend the only thing a bit funky is that you order through the app, but after that initial hump everything was just fine and everyone was so kind! Would certainly go back. read more

Best food I had in Williams. Williams is a very small town with not many stores or restaurants. Excellent, friendly service. Flavorful food with, for me, large portions. I ordered 1 plate of beef broccoli, 1 plate of chow mein noodles (which are on the thicker side), and a Won Ton Mein soup. All which fed me for 3 days. On a side note, I read reviews mentioning price differences. Well the don't have a website and the menu on Yelp is provided by customers pictures. If you look at the dates the pictures were posted, they're all old. If you want accurate and up to date pricing, it would be best to call them. Honestly, I did not expect anything from Williams CA, I was just trying to get through on my way home from a road trip. I was staying at the Motel 6 across the street from this place and was starving, so imagine my pleasant surprise to find not only a Chinese restaurant, but a highly rated one across the street. I called in my order, the guy taking my order was polite. He was nice when I stopped to pick up my order, and it was ready fast. Fair prices for really great food. The fried rice was delicious, I almost ate ALL of it in one sitting, and most of the crab rangoons too! I couldn't stop! None of it tasted super salty, just flavorful and scrumptious. My son and I stopped on our way home from Chico. They were closed for lunch from 2-3 and it was 245. We debated waiting but we did and I am so glad that we did! We ordered orange chicken, house Chow mein, Happy Family and wontons. I am a big fan of Chinese food and I've had some good ones, THIS PLACE was fire! Super fast service and the flavors and quality were so on it! It's a small unassuming place, a little dated and strangely has two toilets in one bathroom, but get past that and you're in for a treat. My son taks about driving back just to have the orange chicken lol. I have to say something about the service also. The woman helping us was an owner I think and she was so friendly and the waitstaff was a young man and woman who were very attentive and friendly. I can't wait to go up 5 again we would stop there for sure, it's gonna be on our road trip rotation! read more
