To be honest, I was initially a little skeptical about how much Bryan can really help us improve…read moreour relationship. I thought the problems we had were complicated and difficult to resolve. But after only a couple of sessions, I was impressed. Bryan has a really structured approach to improving relationships for couples. It not only helped us better understand ourselves and each other, but also breaks down an healthy relationship into specific areas we can work on. He gave us useful "tools" we can use every day. Now many of them have become a natural part of our on-going communications and interactions. After working with Bryan for a few months, my wife and I have grown much closer. I believe Bryan can be a really helpful resource for many couples for want to improve their relationships.

Bryan has a clear and thoughtful way of teaching, guiding us to understand ourselves and each other better. What stood out most is that he never took sides. Instead, he focused on solutions and helped us work as a team. His approach genuinely changed the course of our relationship for the better. We felt comfortable opening up from the very beginning, and the tools he gave us are things we still use every day. His system works -- plain and simple. We are incredibly grateful!

If I could rate 10/10 stars I would. Amy is billed as "sex therapist, life coach, mediator" on Yelp…read moreand for me she was all 3 in that order. My previous experience with therapy has always been a topical analysis of whatever was bugging me that week, or CBT practices (snap a rubber band on your wrist before you do something rash). I decided I would be completely honest from the start and Amy held my truth with integrity every step of the way. Beyond giving me a completely new perspective, she taught me to sense my crisis states well before they happened, and how to step away from it before being ruled by it. Amy is worth every penny spent.

From the owner: Learning intimacy means understanding your needs and understanding your motivations. It also…read moreincludes learning how to be effective even when in conflict, and it means figuring out how to show up willing to be seen in all aspects of relationship, but especially with yourself and intimate partners. I'm a mediator and sex coach. And believe me, they go together. I specialize in helping individuals become their best selves, whether coupled or not. I teach you how to grow as an individual so that you can make the most informed and least fear-based decisions in your life about love, sex, marriage, and work. From there, I teach you to support yourself and your mate, first as individuals, and then how to grow as a couple. It is much easier to do this before kids come, but it is critical to do it if you have children. We specialize in relationship, intimacy, and conflict by teaching you how to grow. That's right, we're about mediating conflict and adult education in how to become your highest and best self, whether partnered or not.

Julie is a nice person (which makes sense as she was a former elementary school teacher), but my…read moreexperience was that she is not a skilled life coach. Julie overpromised and undelivered. Initially, I chose her because of her 5-star reviews and because she claimed to be more available than most coaches, even offering daily text reminders and check-ins. I had to keep reminding her to text me and ultimately gave up when she neglected to follow through on her commitment over and over again. She failed to deliver accountability as promised and had very limited, basic tools that she repeated over and over again. Her coaching was redundant, disorganized, uninspired, and lacked clarity and focus. I hired Julie and paid her $3000+ for coaching services. I feel like I lost money, precious time, and energy. I felt so frustrated that we ultimately agreed to end our agreement two sessions early. A full refund would have been appreciated but Julie has a No Refund policy. Buyer beware. I have since hired a different coach who is significantly more skilled and have made more progress in the last month with my new coach than I did with Julie in over 6 months. YMMV.

Julie helped me shift my approach to everything in life. As a result of our work together, I feel…read moreconfident in my ability to process my emotions, exercise purposeful thought work, and practice mindfulness. Since working with Julie, I am a lot happier. My confidence and happiness infiltrates every other part of my life, which has not gone unnoticed by family members, friends, and colleagues. One major difference between now and then is that I no longer feel the need to avoid or reject my emotions. Now, I sit with my feelings, allow the emotions to wash over me. and think about why I might be feeling what I'm feeling... and so begins the thought work!

My experience working with her was she was full of prejudice towards women, and free to pass on racial judgement as well. My husband and I split the bill, but she tailored her service towards my husband only. She did not hear me, she did not care what I had to say. My husband told me she gave my husband a 'diagnosis' of me, but she never shared that with me. How insulting is that? You are paying for someone to insult you... What a joke. I hope NO more couples ever waste their lives, time, money, on this counselor who calls herself a professional. I hope she leaves this community. She is a joke, the worst counseling experience I ever had.

Every…read moreother week she hosts a divorce support group session where people of all walks gather in her office and share their stories and heal with each other. I have gained so much insight into these sessions that Connie expertly runs. She is such a giving person, and such a great listener. I read the negative review by someone a year ago, and this makes no sense because Connie Curlett has been gracious and helpful to both men and women and people of all races and I have never seen a hint of animus to anyone. This description by someone who posted a year ago does not describe the Connie Curlett I know and seems like the poster had other personal issues. Connie is a very kind person and she has many people that reach out to her for her wisdom about relationships. She is simply a very empathetic and generous person and truly the best active listener I have ever seen!
