The primary physician was experienced and competent but the individual who performed my deep-cleaning was excessively rough and even removed a chunk of the gum between two of my lower incisors. In addition, I wasn't informed that novacaine would be applied - the result was a needle approaching my mouth without warning, which, let me tell you, was quite jarring. On top of it all, I felt quite unwelcome after my visit, having never received a follow-up or request for subsequent cleanings, nor the referral for orthodontic work that I was promised. Perhaps it is due to the fact that I'm a blue-collar worker who dared venture forth across to the right side if the tracks. To sum it up: my visits here resulted in both physical and emotional pain. I would appreciate an apology but I doubt I'll receive one. Makes me sad. read more

I have been with Dr Schneider for almost 5 years now. He is a doctor who really cares about you as a person and as a patient. All his staff are also wonderful. Not only do I go to him for my cleaning and my regular check ups, but I also had Invisalign. It was only 7 months and my teeth look beautiful! This place is great! The decor is not updated, but having worked at dental offices in the past, I had a good feeling about this place per the owner's description and client reviews. Luckily they were awesome! I walked in as an emergency case from out of town and they were extremely accommodating given that I didn't have an appointment or any file with them. They took care of me without rushing, even though I showed up right before their lunch. I really appreciated that. Right before the Thanksgiving holiday I was cleaning my teeth and unfortunately one of my crowns fell out of my mouth. I am a patient of a different dentist and when I tried to recontact them while they were open I left messages as well as on their emergency line and received no response. I knew I couldn't go through the holiday with out my crown so I contacted 1-800 dentist and they referred me to Dr Schneider's office. They understood my situation and squeezed me in for the very next day. the doctor wasn't in however a associate of his doctor Leung took care of me. When I came into the office I was treated with kindness consideration respect and in a professional way. I was so grateful for what they did I'm considering making them my primary dental office. I found Dr. Schneider after reading other positive reviews. I was experiencing extreme tooth pain and had recently relocated to Walnut Creek. My experience with Dr Schneider and his entire staff was so positive. I was given an appointment the same day I called and everyone in the office was so pleasant and accommodating. Dr. Schneider was very warm and was able to quickly diagnose my issue (I needed a crown as my filling had fractured) and he was able to get me in the next day to do the do the procedure. While a procedure like this is not fun, he and his assistant took their time to make sure I was comfortable and at ease and I was really appreciative that they had done everything they could to make this a positive experience for me. Bill Schneider has very poor dental technique and is unprofessional. If you tell him something is wrong (for example: cap/crown hurts or does not fit correctly), he will tell you his work is great and dismiss your complaints. I felt like I was talking to a used car salesperson when I talked to him. He only wants to sell you something he is not qualified to sell and will not resolve any problems. He consistently wanted to sell me braces but he is not an orthodontist. Go to another dentist. read more
