When it actually came time for my tooth extraction, Dr. Trotter's assistant had me put on sunglasses and I said to her, "okay if I close my eyes?" and Dr. Trotter said "that fine, I'll keep mine open." This was also the first time I elected to only have a local anesthetic so I was a little extra nervous, but Dr. Trotter and his entire staff was wonderful. She handed me the full price of a procedure and smiled at me when it said $20,000 -- as if I did not have the money to. pay it -- insisting that insurance won't cover it, called a necessary procedure cosmetic because of the time it has taken to get it done. I was even told to do my own predetermination. Apparently she does this often with patients whenever there is a complicated patient and does not want to put in the effort. She is known for this. And, although she is Asian, she is the most racist person against people of color. Her name is Regina. Please steer clear of this place. She is nasty and will deliberately misunderstand what you are saying. Also, while you are in the chair undergoing a procedure they actually go to you and make you pay your portion. The procedure stops until you give them your card. These are some bad people. Please be careful. The actual medical staff are wonderful people though. But it's that office manager/receptionist who runs the place who eviscerates you while you are in the most vulnerable position. It was the most humiliating and insulting experience of my life, so unprofessional and cruel. Dentistry is scary enough, to have this on top of it just makes the entire experience horrifying. I don't think I will ever get over what she did. I was completely mortified by her behavior and I cannot believe she is allowed to work there, let alone run the place. At approximately 8:45 a.m., I received multiple back-to-back telephone calls from an employee identified as Jennifer. I returned the call within approximately ten minutes after listening to her voicemail. During the return call, I politely asked that, going forward, I not be called repeatedly in rapid succession because I am a disabled veteran with a severe service-connected anxiety disorder. I specifically stated that my request was related to my disability and my need to maintain reasonable personal boundaries. Jennifer initially apologized. However, after I made this request, she informed me that my appointment had been cancelled. I arrived at the office shortly thereafter to discuss the matter in person. Jennifer's demeanor remained dismissive and unprofessional. I then spoke with an individual identified as Tammy, who stated she was the office manager. I attempted to explain that my concern was not the request for insurance information itself, but rather the repeated back-to-back calls and the cancellation of my appointment after I disclosed my disability and requested that my boundaries be respected. I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously. Rather than addressing my complaint, I was told that Jennifer had done nothing wrong and that I had been rude to the employee. At no time did I raise my voice, threaten anyone, or refuse to provide information. I simply requested that future communications take my disability into consideration. My appointment was scheduled to address an urgent dental concern. Being told that my appointment was cancelled immediately after disclosing my disability and requesting a reasonable accommodation caused me significant emotional distress. Following the incident, I contacted Aspen Dental Corporate and spoke with Brian L., who documented my complaint. He expressed concern regarding the circumstances and acknowledged that the repeated calls and handling of the situation were problematic. As a 100% disabled veteran with a documented anxiety disorder, I believe my disability-related concerns were disregarded and that I was treated differently after disclosing my disability. Whether intentional or not, the result was that I lost access to a scheduled dental appointment after requesting consideration for a disability-related need. I respectfully request that Aspen Dental conduct a review of this incident, including the recorded telephone call, determine whether company policies were followed, and provide a written response regarding the findings. I also request clarification regarding Aspen Dental's policies concerning disability accommodations and the cancellation of patient appointments under these circumstances. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Spencer Dental also made it extremely difficult to get a copy of my x-rays and patient information. And while some workers were nice, others were very rude. Overall, there were a LOT of red flags. I would not trust any diagnosis from this place.

Yep - it really was that simple. Dr Cabaniss was very pleasant, had great bedside manner, was kind and informative. I didn't feel pushed or rushed into the procedure - he just said it would take him about 5 minutes per tooth and that if I wanted it done under local, he could actually fit me in right there and then. So I went for it. All hands on deck, I had 3 assistants who were very supportive, one was great at explaining things throughout the procedure. Dr C had a no BS approach, 'just get me out of here ASAP' I told him - and he did. I experienced slight discomfort when the numbing injections went in my palate - but who on earth doesn't? He even warned me "this is going to really sting and I'm sorry." Not his fault. The receptionist who welcomed me was absolutely amazing. Fantastic customer service and very forthcoming with explaining how my insurances would cover the procedure. She even contacted my dentist to make sure both dental insurances were on my file; I appreciate the extra steps she went through. Inside was clean, spacious and plenty of room both in the surgery rooms and the waiting area. Overall, a great experience. Somebody tell the tooth fairy I'm still waiting for my money. Thanks.

I was referred to Dr. Cabaniss by my dentist for consultation and extracting 24 teeth as I need…read morefull dentures. My dentist sent him the x-rays and after examining me, he explained that there was two ways to approach this. One take all 24 teeth out then get my immediate dentures, or take a two phase approach, take out the 12 back teeth, let the gums heal, then take out the remaining 12, then get my dentures. What this does is allow the gums to heal that have the biggest cavities and this will allow the dentures to fit better. The cost would be the same. After we discussed and I said maybe the phased approach may be better, he then said let me talk to your dentist, at which time he called her. They talked for a while and he said she agrees this would be the best approach. The front staff was very helpful and provided me with a cost breakdown including what my insurance would pay. I agreed and made the appointment. Because of health reasons he had to use Novocain and gave me 8 shots. He extracted 12 teeth and during the extraction asked several times if I was OK, his dental technician was also concerned and pleasant. After the extractions the dental technician thoroughly explained haw to care for the gums until they heal and form blood clots. Yes no one likes having tooth extraction, in my case required two stitches on two of the extractions but although he was rough a couple of times, that would be expected for larger teeth. He finished as fast as he could and after done he explained any problems, indicated call and he would see me as fast as he could. Although a very unpleasant experience having that many teeth extracted, I was confident in Dr Cabaniss's ability and he had great chair side manners and thoroughly explained everything. I go back in January for the remaining teeth to be extracted, and at least I know what to expect. BTW: I was surprised how little pain I experienced after these extractions, pain med's were prescribed which I only took for two days. I would highly recommend Dr. Cabaniss for your oral surgery.

Scott Quinn is an absolute joke. He pulled two teeth near the front of my mouth on the top. I had…read moreperfectly spaced teeth before he removed the teeth and had crowns put on. now I have several gaps on my top row of teeth. I'm going to a new dentist and requested a copy of my latest X-rays last week and I still don't have them. His bedside manner is also horrible. I have never been with a doctor that slings the "F" word like it's sparkles on a cupcake! If you need dental services of any kind, be sure to stay away from him and this office. His son is Bryce Quinn and he left the practice right after my first appointment. He was my original dentist and was very good. I should have left when he did. I regret ever letting Scott Quinn touch me.
