I started coming to Dr…read more Artzer a few years back in the period between your parents making your appointments and you making your own so I kind of got off to a slow start but everything about this office helps ease all my dentist anxiety. The staff is all very nice. I typically get the same hygienist every time I go in and she and Dr. Artzer both work pretty quickly in my opinion. Dr. Artzer is definitely a magician of some sorts. I have required local anesthesia on a couple of procedures and the first time I was so shocked he got the needle in my mouth and me numbed and I literally just thought he was looking at my tooth. I've been to a dentist where the numbing process was so rough they sent me home for the day with no procedure so this is much appreciated. The billing specialist, Pam, I believe always walks you through any bills incurred and it's never like they are trying to nickel and dime or up sell. I have been in a few times during the pandemic and this office has maintained exemplary precautions. I will definitely be back obviously.

When I first moved to NN, I was referred to this dental practice. After many years, I finally…read moredecided to move on. Dr. Mike is awesome - seriously - great guy, and does very good work. It's just that most of your preventative dental care is handled by the hygienists and the staff here just went downhill over time. The last few times I went in for cleanings they weren't good and the hygienist was odd. I'm assuming this is an ongoing issue as more recently when booking appointments, people were asked if they had a preference of hygienist (which wasn't usual before). The piece that sent me over the edge is that one of the women who works at the front desk (who always seems annoyed that you're there and is incredibly rude in her speaking tone) scheduled a cleaning appointment for me and gave me an appointment card. I put the date and time immediately into my Google calendar because, let's be real, I live and die by Google calendar. Then out of the blue, a week before my appointment, I get a call that I missed the appointment. I explained that I'd been told it was the following week. The woman argued with me and said it would be a $60 cancelation fee before I could reschedule. Because I'm known to lose my cool at bad customer service, I had my much calmer and much more successful at negotiating customer service issues husband follow up. After a couple calls back and forth, even his gentle soul was done with the rude behavior. We pay far too much for insurance to receive bad customer service - I'm the first to critique it at a restaurant, why it's taken me so long to stop putting up with bad health care service is a mystery to me. So that put us on the hunt for another dentist who actually had a decent staff - there's gotta be a good one around Bad News somewhere, right?

Once they realized that they didn't verify the insurance information correctly and he did have insurance. They refused service and I quote "The doctor wants to part ways and not do the procedure". This is so ridiculous my son is still in pain, I missed work and he missed school. I'll be filing a complaint with the dental board so that they can open an investigation on this incident. Every time I go there I wait at least 20-30 minutes to be seen…read more Imagine my disappointment when I was 10 minutes late for an appointment to have a permanent bridge put in and they told me they need to reschedule me. I know that if I had arrived early or on time, I would've still been waiting at the time that I arrived. The two temporary bridges that they put in while I was waiting for this appointment broke within days of placement - without me eating hard/sticky food. Because of this, I have spent WEEKS trying to eat and drink with exposed tooth nerves from when they shaved my teeth for the bridge. It's been a very long, very painful, and very expensive experience. If you have time and money to waste, you don't mind coming in multiple times for temporary bridges while you wait for the permanent one, if you enjoy the pain of eating with shaved teeth, or if you enjoy long wait times in a tight waiting room - this is the place for you.
