Doctor Huang has been treating my elderly mother for years now for a number of very complicated issues. He basically saved her life. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and understanding. He knows how to explain complex medical issues in a simple way, manage difficult situations calmly, and put his patients at ease. On top of that, he is very affable and down-to-earth as well. An amazing doctor with a great personality. His staff are also fantastic. The NP Biora is great, as are the nurses, Hermineh, Araz, Mariam and... They know exactly what they are doing and are amazing at interacting with their patient. They are extremely professional, diligent, and meticulous. After a short stay in the ER with heart issues I was referred to Dr. William Huang at Glendale Heart Institute. This was the best that could happen to me. This doctor is amazing - very knowledgeable, very communicative, and has a wonderful optimistic personality. He accompanied me for the next 2 years on my journey to get healthy again. I had several procedures done - an ablation, an angiogram, implanting of a heart monitor and finally the implantation of a pacemaker. Needless to say that everything went smoothly because Dr Huang is a great surgeon and I completely trusted him and experienced no anxieties about the respective procedures. William Huang, MD - Cardiologists Near Me - Glendale, California

Dr. Huang is a fine cardiologist. His office is inexcusably poor. Expect no one to ever answer the phone, appointments canceled at the last minute, long waits, incorrect billing, bills that take up to 9 months to arrive, etc. At one point when Dr. Huang had prescribed a test, I called to schedule. I called day after day and no one ever answered the phone. Messages left went unreturned. Their answering service wouldn't even take a message and told me to just keep trying, they're "probably busy." Exasperated, I finally emailed Dr. Huang directly. He called me, and I explained I couldn't schedule the test because no one answers the phone in his office. He assured me he'd have someone call me to schedule. They never did. So, I had to find another doctor to schedule the test, and so had to leave Dr. Huang behind. To top it off, his office billed me (6 months later) for a "telehealth" appointment for when he called to schedule the test since no one in his office would. Sadly, when I brought these issues about the office to the attention of Dr. Huang, he kind of just shrugged and said he knows and he's sorry, but there's nothing he can do about it. I don't get that at all...it's HIS office staff. Anyway, I thought he was a good doctor and was genuinely disappointed to have to leave him because of these experiences, but dealing with his office was intolerably bad and adding more stress to an already stressful medical situation. I know all doctors office staff can be busy, but this is far and away the worst office of any type I've ever experienced and not worth the trouble. Look elsewhere. read more

I was born with multiple SVT's (Supraventricular Tachycardias) that continued to get worse the older I got. Last year, my doctor referred me to Dr. William Huang. Dr. Huang was the first doctor I've ever seen who did not make me feel rushed to have to explain my problem. He is very generous with his time and really cares about his patients. I had a prior ablation procedure at age 25 and felt so defeated by my SVT's. I felt that if the first ablation didn't work, why should I think a second one would? He told me that I was in a minority of people who have had an unsuccessful first ablation, and he felt very confident that if we tried again, he could succeed. Last winter, at age 30, I decided to get a second ablation with Dr. Huang, and it was successful. No more beta blockers, no more SVT's. I actually feel emotional writing this review because this surgery has had such an enormous impact on my life. Truthfully, I was worried about how young Dr. Huang was before the ablation, and I worried about his experience. But I could also tell that he really cared and felt personally invested in the success of correcting my condition unlike previous doctors I've had. He was incredibly thorough, and he was so determined to succeed. He repeatedly told me that he would treat me as if I were his own family. I am so grateful to my GP for recommending that I see Dr. Huang. He is the best. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable about cardiovascular health but he is also very good at explaining a difficult problem and simplify it in a way that is understandable to a lay person. I visited this doctor 4 times the first time l waited 4 hours for the doctor to see me. The second time I suppose to have the stress test they did one test only n I had to come back they gave a bull reason n third time for the stress test I had to wait almost 30 minutes. They could not give my results caused my doctor was in. They have doctors that an give me the result but no they want me to cc'ing back so they can charge my insurance company again for another visit. My fourth time I waited for one hour n half n I left this is just ridiculous. Half hour laster I got a call from this doctor they did not even know I already left. Dr Huang seems like a great doctor but his office staff SUCKS!! I waited an hour and forty minutes until I finally had enough when they allowed a woman who actually had an appointment with another doctor but wanted to see doctor Huang and the appointment she had scheduled with the other doctor was an hour after mine but they somehow sent her in before me. When I complained they said there are multiple doctors there and could be seeing another doctor but I heard her conversation with the receptionist so I know she was seeing Dr Huang. I left because I had to go back to work and when I was taking the elevator down to the parking area, where they don't validate, I met a woman who said she had to wait over 2 hours and wanted to leave but was there because her father had to see the doctor.
