That said, this review is strictly for the quality of the product since I cannot speak to the store experience having thrifted my boots. But truly, I cannot speak highly enough of these boots. The pair I found is a knee high style in brown suede with a small block heel, they are a quintessential classic done so beautifully. They are also the comfiest pair of boots I have ever owned. From the look of the soles both inside and out, these at most got worn once before being donated, yet I had no break in period. I'm not sure how I was blessed enough for the thrift gods to bestow them upon me, but I will be praying and keeping my eyes peeled for another pair in black. That's not the issue. At the time, Portland Leather was running another promotion, SUNNY25, which would have given me 25% off. In their response, they acknowledged that if I had entered that code, I would have received the discount. I contacted customer service immediately after placing the order to either cancel it or have the current promotion applied. Unfortunately, there is no option to cancel an order and no customer service phone number to call, so email is the only way to reach them. Their response was that they could not make any retroactive adjustments. Instead, they offered me 600 reward points toward a future purchase. Considering they admitted I would have qualified for the 25% discount, this felt like a very inadequate resolution. Portland Leather seems to have a sale running almost constantly, which makes it feel like the sale price is their actual everyday price. I like their products, but the lack of flexibility and poor customer service left me very disappointed.

Then as the time draws closer you go in so your measurements will match with what they make for you. There is a lot of leather jackets already for sale in which you can immediately purchase providing you find a fit that is good for you. Being a clothes horse myself I could easily place an order as well but I don't have anything specific in mind to pursue that at the moment. It was a lot of fun browsing around and I loved the autographed picture of one of the band members from the Lunachicks that apparently purchased a leather garment here at one point!
