I ordered a gift online, and in my haste I didn't notice that the auto-filled address I input was to an out of state location where I no longer have a contact, and my package was delivered there. I reached out to their customer service email, and Violet S. in their retail store in Eugene responded. I boldly asked if I could get a replacement for the item I ordered and have it shipped to the correct location, but at no cost to me, and they did so without question! I am floored. I was a long-standing customer for many years until now. Bought a Will belt over the holidays (same one I've bought for several friends over the years) but this one was hard and stiff, like fake leather (pleather) unlike the others we have that are soft and smooth. Customer service said that's the way they make them now I could return it but wouldn't pay s/h either way and I needed to get insurance/tracking or they "may not receive it". Jonathan also didn't tell me I couldn't return a mask. After all is said and done after buying a $110 "plastic" belt, a $7 mask w/ $25 in shipping charges I'm left with no merchandise, hours spent w/ email, customer service and post office they credited $77 to my cc and $4.90 store credit for the mask that he failed to mention was not returnable. My first expensive leather wallet for Xmas. Super nice! L Fold. Smells great :-) The cloth material did not get stitched properly behind the credit cards on one side so they're poking through to the inside. But I don't think they're going to move once it gets broken in and I wasn't planning on using that pocket space behind them anyway. The exterior leather has paper backing. Probably they didn't want to use thick leather to keep the thickness of an l fold to a minimum? I was a little surprised the outside leather is so thin they needed paper to give it rigidity. I would have preferred no paper and thicker leather. I've dealt with the paper before in my 'yearly' less expensive wallets. I am 100% looking forward to breaking it in and it feels nice to have something made from an actual leather place. And from Oregon. I have another $4k+ I have bought myself and at least $2k-$3k in gifts. You lost a customer. And due to the disrespectful of someone named "Lead" in your customer service center. First she insults me saying I was sent what I ordered. I am happy to send you the key log of my computer...when I made the order it was for the brown leather, not black. Second, after probably over $10k of giving a fellow Oregonian business as wanted to "stay local", I guess you are now just into the big business and let loyal customers no longer matter. Last, this was over a $100 bag, nothing big. It's about the point that when you stay loyal to what you thought was a good company, you expect them for the first time you contacted them in 5+ years of buying things to be treated better than some rep to first treat you like you are an idiot, than literally is trying to pawn off other cheap used items. If I wanted a black travel with the wrong name on it, I would go to a thrift store. Is that what you have now turned into? Thrift store vs. selling quality products to loyal customers. I will be out nothing, I call Chase Sapphire, they refund charges...I am out nothing. You deal with that and the product that will be thrown in the trash. But the complaints with the BBB, Oregon AG's Office, Yelp, Facebook and wherever else I can...those will cost you 10X the cost. A large part of the appeal for us on our recent visit was the thoughtfulness and knowledge of Parker, the incredibly sweet salesperson. She took her time to explain each piece we bought. The worst costumer service I ever experienced in my entire life. My sister was falsely accused of stealing money and not paying for merchandise which she did, she even has receipt to prove it . Apparently it wasn't enough for manager Jonathan who spoke passive aggressive with us when we came in the next day after receiving a phone call from the police to see what's really going on. Not only he lied to our face about him speaking with the officer and giving him videos , he told us that he decided to press charges against her. He handled this situation, absolutely unprofessionally . My sister gave them her real name and her real email address. I'm not sure whom Intelligence they are insulting hers , or theirs to be honest . People who run this store are so ignorant , in time when wearing face mask is so normal and nobody checking IDs she came in like normal costumer to buy a bag and gave her real info you have a nerve to accusing of stealing. It's unbelievable. More likely your bearded employ stole that money because he knew your cameras do not work and helped himself before holidays. After speaking with officer again and finally getting clarification that my sister name will not be drag in dirt anymore we can sleep normal . I love the will box car, our third visit! It's a real box car converted into the flagship store. The store is so well laid out, and the clerks are friendly and knowledgeable, and the Will products are really well made. I have bought two items here, a canvas tote, and a lambskin "cross body bag, for my daughter, and she loves both items. The store smells great, all leathery, and they offer a complimentary kombucha while you are browsing. The only challenge for me, is the cost, which is beyond my price point. But when they have a sale, the value is really there! I'll go up to five stars when I buy my first Will product! read more

I received a purse as a gift from this company for Christmas and absolutely love it! It's quality leather with a zipper that never snags. I brought my mom so she could buy herself a little something. She found a great wallet on a good deal. And even though I wasn't going to get anything for myself I ended up buying a fantastic wallet which can also double as a clutch. Disclaimer: I absolutely LOVE this store. I often pop in here once every few weeks, looking to kill some time following a trip to provisions. Following my first initial trips, I fell in love with the staff, the cozy atmosphere, and of course the products. Although I love Will, and every product I've purchased of theirs (high quality, lifetime warranty, lovely designs) I found that it was the staff and overall environment that kept me coming back. I have since purchased many gifts as well as items for myself since then, from this store. Upon my most recent visit, I was extremely off put by an employee I had not yet encountered. Within moments of entering the store, I was greeted with an insincere hello followed by immediate pressure to purchase the most expensive item in the store. When I tried to explain that I was simply browsing, I was quickly interrupted as she continued to push products on me without knowing my intent. I was finally able to get a word in, making it clear that I was just browsing today, although I might be back for a bag next week. I immediately felt unwelcome, as if she were a used car salesman desperately attempting to meet their quota. As stated previously, I love this store and have always enjoyed visiting with the girls who work there. I was in several times over the holidays and always felt comfortable whether making a large purchase or just browsing. I sensed that this was potentially a new employee although I'm uncertain if its worth subjecting myself to such disrespect to test the theory. This place is owned by Spirit Leatherworks (Bill Adler) here in Eugene (headquartered on West 1st. Ave). It's packed with goods sourced from Mexico (raw leather) and assembled in China (stitching, etc. done there), so other than warehousing in the Eugene facility, it's all imported from low-wage sources, then had the price jacked up to astronomical levels. You're better off when paying this much for product to get something sourced by an Italian leather goods supplier. Be sure to ask for the MSDS sheets on anything you might buy. You never know how much chromium was used during the leather tanning process back in Mexico and China! read more

I'm sorry to say but this has been the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I am not complaining about the actual stores, this is more about the website team. I cannot believe that such an awesome company can have such horrible customer experience: - I made an order online on November 23rd for 3 wallets. Two of which were delivered on November 25th. - My third wallet was never shipped and would have gone unnoticed if I didn't email and call the website team several times. - The people who work at the store were really nice and forwarded my email to the website team who never replied. - I then email the website team (on December 6th) and was emailed back in a rude manner saying that my order was already delivered which obviously was not. I just wish that person really read my email properly. (my email had pictures and links proving that it wasn't even shipped yet) - Then later I am told that the wallet will be expedited (that was on a Tuesday - still December 6th) - On December 8th, I email again asking for status. No one replies... - Still on December 8th I call twice to see what is happening, and the lady personally apologizes and promises me that my wallet was going to be shipped that day and that it would arrive on Friday December 9th. - When I emailed again the next day (December 9th) to ask for the status as they had promised, no one replied. - I call again on December 9th and was told that it was going to ship that day and that I would get it on Monday (December 12th) - December 12th and I still do not have the wallet! FedEx shows that it will arrive on December 13th via "standard shipping" ... so much for expedited delivery... - I called an complained, and they said that they will have a manager call me back.. they never did. Sounds like they don't really care about their customers. I'm sure that I will never hear back from them as this has been my experience so far but I would really hope that they fix their process and provide better customer experience... For now, I will refrain from buying anything from this company and will definitely share my experience with anyone wanting to buy so that they wouldn't have to go through this as well... read more

What a wonderful experience walking into one of their stores. My Rainier backpack is one of the highest quality packs of this type that I have ever seen in both quality design and finish. I have it hanging in my office and as far as I am concerned it is a piece of art (that gets complimented on by constantly). Beyond the quality of their products is the service. I was amazed at how attentive the communication was from their customer service when I needed help with something that was even outside of their scope. They went out of their way for me.
