Pros: we got an appointment in a week which was nice. A tech. came out to spray for termites and pest. Price was $235.60 for 611 sq ft. Cons: only sprayed for bugs Termites were not addressed because "couldn't treat kitchen cabinets for termites due to space is too small to work in." " we do have a smaller tech that is able to perform the termite treatment in kitchen cabinets... " This is a normal lower kitchen cabinet 24" deep by 24" wide situated between a refrigerator and a stove which are both movable. I would think a termite/bug company would have the ability, equipment and technicians that are able to treat termites. I don't want to waste the companies time and resources coming out to Kona. I'm respectful of their resources but I don't feel the respect was reciprocated. When I called the office for clarity and spoke to Brittney I was told the Techs note is self explanatory. I wanted to know if it was worth rescheduling with WILL KILL or go with another company. She was difficult to approach without getting defensive. I'm sorry the interaction was so strained and non productive. I'll follow up with another company. Reviews indicated good service for the majority of people. read more

Had them out to do two termite inspections, at two separate properties, and while there for less than an hour at each property (at a cost of $340 each) the "inspector" was not able to answer any questions about whether to not visible holes in wood was from termites or not, and both reports came back exactly the same - some very minor appearance that could be droppings in a tiny area, that he could not say was recent or if it indicated they were active, and no other evidence anywhere above these areas of termites in ANY other area of house. (we are talking an area of less than one square foot) but recommended tenting for both houses, and to contact another Pest company to arrange, because they don't do tenting. Contacted the other Pest company and asked them to review the report to see if we really needed tenting vs. spot treatment, and they said it would be a conflict of interest to for them to review the report, but they were eager to make an appointment for the tenting. Asked to talk over the reports with the "boss" (as the employee referred to) at WillKilz for clarification and was told "he's very busy" she would give him the message, and a month later, I'm still waiting for that call back. We finally went with someone else because it's all just a bit too fishy to us. Too bad, because we really like the other pest company that they are obviously partnered with in some way, because in the past they have done a REAL termite inspection, that took a couple hours and were able to answer questions and provide insight. read more

They only treat the area where you have termites.. the termites will then migrate to another area.. only 3 month warranty on the treated area. It took 90 days for the holes to reappear and they want you to pay again. Please don't waste your money!!!! read more

Don't waste your money. These folks may be okay for ants or roaches, I don't know, but don't bother using them for spider control. This was my first time using a pest control service. I was at my wits end when them I called them about a severe exterior house spider infestation. I was assured it could be handled and was given an acceptable quote after the man came to inspect the house. I have to say that Sai the exterminator was very nice and friendly, though he was over an hour late for the appointment. The exterior was wiped with a solution and the webs knocked down; I was told it would last about 3-4 months before needing re-treatment, and when the spiders touched the treated walls they would die. Not the case. Also, the most infested areas were not treated as I had requested. After the treatment, the person at the office told Sai to tell me I would have to pay over $100 more than I was quoted because I live in Volcano. I refused. Sai called the office back and they said I would have to pay about $60 more. I paid just to get it over with. The spiders are as alive and well as they were before Will Kill came out, in fact they were busy making their webs everywhere again the next day. I ended up going to Home Depot and buying a gallon of Ortho Home Defense, which has really worked. read more

Worst ever service, They avoid telephone calls, I overpaid them and they are yet to credit me. no communication in their office, seems its a wife and husband run business that has no idea what they are doing. the inspection done by his brother and told us it needed spot treatment, then suddenly we heard we needed tenting, that put our whole home sale on hold and thank god we were still under warranty from a previous company. Problem here is there was only one spot in a cabinet. ONE SPOT PEOPLE his brother could not find anything else anywhere! Who is fobbing whom here? Will and Heather should probably learn how to run a more honest business. According to word out there they went on an elaborate hot air balloon vacation this summer which is why they try and screw people over. I love, love, love this company! I had a tenant from hell whose filthy habits made a very nice home for the biggest cockroach infestation I've ever seen. Will Kill came out, did a treatment, but next time I checked the place, the little buggers were still running around. It took about three of four treatments. What impressed me the most was the professionalism and willingness to please the client. Each time I called, the person on the other end of the line was most willing to send Will Kill out and respray. There was no hesitation and a lovely attitude. It was a HEAVY infestation of German Cockroaches which are the hardest to eradicate, so I am not surprised it took more than two or three times. This is service at its finest. read more

as soon as the "inspector" (and he's actually a 'technician', not an inspector) got here, he was cusing, "F'ing GPS!", had to "F'ing turn around down the road...", "F'ing missed the road!", etc. he was "F'ing" throughout his 'inspection'. i was tempted to call his company and complain right then, and wish i had. then he went into the house, took less than 5 minutes, i heard the cabinets open and close, and such noises w/ inspecting, then he came out and told me he found some. i was incredulous! i asked him to show me, and we went in and he showed me the cabinets above and next to the stove, he said he only found them there.. and he shined the light to show the tiny white 'frass'. we went outside and i was in disbelief! but he told me he only found them there in that one cabinet, and i asked what the next step would be, and he said "it's only in that one spot, the cabinets, so it would just be a spot treatment". i said okay, and he walked off to walk around the outside of the house. he came back and told me... "it all looks good, uncle, it's just the cabinets, the rest is good!", then he leaves and his report said he found termites everywhere! under the floors, in the walls and ceiling, he didn't even know i had a propane refrigerator! if he actually inspected, he would have seen the obvious pilot light! his report was a complete lie, because i know what he told me to my face, then he lies in his report. there's "grain bugs" in that cabinet, and the rice kernels they were eating, i count 43 tiny white bug poop, not drifts of "frass". and i never used that cabinet, ever, so all that's there is from over 5 years ago, when this home was rented. i am a 63 year old, 100% disabled army vet with PTSD, and my anxiety, panic attacks, depression, anger, etc, is through the roof because of these liars. now i need to tent the place, because of his lies. read more

Will Kill was actually recommended to me by a Kona-based pest control company (a competitor) that could not meet my service date deadline. Will Kill's office service staff and technicians are just top-of-the-line, A-1, First Rate people. This is my second use for pest and fire ant control service (quarterly service). They are reliable, always showing up at the appointed time and extremely knowledgeable about the pests of the area. They are quite possibly the only service vendor that met or exceeded our expectations. Good service is so easy; DO WHAT YOU SAY YOU ARE GOING TO DO. So few vendors seem to get this simple concept.
