There was no doubt where I would be purchasing our wreaths this year! I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet and spend some time with the owner(also named Michael) and learn about the job duties of these special needs students. Due to his kindness, compassion and humor, not only did I leave with absolutely beautiful wreaths, but a full heart. We are so grateful for this rare opportunity that our son Michael and the other students from Melmark have been given, and so thankful for a business giving back to its community above and beyond measure. I will look forward to going back for some beautiful flowers in the spring. The wreaths, garland, baskets, swags...were all so beautiful and the customer service I experienced and witnessed in the time I was there outstanding.. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!

They have a wide variety of the freshest and liveliest plants, trees, and flowers. Their staff is always friendly and knowledgeable and willing to spend the time needed to ensure you pick the right selection for your needs. Knowing the quality of their products and their committed staff, we chose Mahoney's as the florist for our vow renewal event. I met with one of the floral designers Denise. She took the time to understand the specifics of our event and our vision. She was sure to get specific on picking great colors that would match and incorporating many of our favorite flowers. I could never have imagined how beautiful they would be. They were the perfect touch to our venue and our pictures. I definitely recommend Mahoney's for any personal landscaping needs you may have, as well as, any events requiring floral arrangements!

Mr. and Mrs. King (along with their dog…read moreDjango) and a bunch of helpers run a place that is better described as an experience than a "store". All of the plants are outside on the Kings vast land. The King's are like a living history of the Merrimack valley region - Mr. King can tell you stories about these towns when they were still all farm lands. There are frogs, turtles, toads, and other amazing animals close at hand while you're looking at a gorgeous selection of some of the nicest plants you've ever seen. The variety is incredible, and the quality is unsurpassed. No artificial fertilizers are used and Mr. King swears this is why deer don't bother his plants. He knows everything about every type of plant he sells and can answer whatever question you've got. I can't stress enough just how nice it is to be out there though - the drive over a tiny bridge, the "turtle crossing" signs, the acres of amazing plants to explore - and most importantly, the Kings themselves - 2 of the nicest, happiest, and most interesting people you could meet! Absolutely worth checking this place out.
