New Dislikes : 2 night minimum hurts return visits from out of state, and asking for a tip for the maids is laughable now that the cost for most of the rooms are creeping to the $300/night level. They continue to have a beautiful stay for a Amish getaway... just need to tweak the price/minimums for other folks.

Very impressive when you enter I must say. The second floor has a wonderful kitchen and fireplace to cozy up to. The top floor has a reading nook and king sized bed. The house has beautiful wooden beams throughout which gives the place a very'homey' feeling. We ordered the cheese platter and chocolate dipped strawberries upon arrival and were very impressed by both. The cheese platter was filled to the brim with assorted cheeses and sliced meats with a sweet mustard. It came with a bottle of semi sweet wine. The strawberries were enormous and very tasty. We had breakfast delivered versus the grab and go and it was amazing. All in all it was a great experience and I highly recommend staying here.

Never offered a different room with an additional charge. Clerk came to the room to see if he could get the fire places working. He called the maintenance man and then I was told the fireplace was for looks only and would be a fire hazard. Only the fake logs lit up when turned on, The breakfast appeared unappetizing, so we went elsewhere for breakfast. Room was clean, jacuzzi worked great. That is about it.

Our main complaint was the people in the room above us had kids that ran up & down and it sounded like a herd of elephants starting at 8:00 a.m.

This is still the same nice place, although they were having phone line problems for awhile, those are now fixed. They still have the Hampton's old number. They have a friendly staff, they still have the pool, the prices are right, so support this business. You couldn't ask for a better location and it is near a McDonald's Wendy's, Taco Bell and two gas stations. The only problem is people may not think that they are open because their sign is dark, and in small lettera at the bottom It reads " I assure you we are still open". The company does need to fix this problem, but other than that, they are ready for your business!

Nice staff. Very organized. They have a well stocked store with some good snacks too. For anyone wanting to attend church there is a non denominational Christian church on the property. Play areas for the kids with nice equipment. Putting greens. They sell LP. They have a dog wash. This place is in the top few percent of RV resorts. We have stayed all over the US and can't name but a few that are equal. If you want to stay nearby, definitely check this out.

Tip: You can not place rugs on the grass- each site is paved so there really is not a need for one. Note: Restaurants, grocery stores and local attractions are not open on Sunday. Be sure you come prepared if arriving late Saturday or Sunday.

So much has already been said, but this is a natural respite from the world with all of the creature comforts. To anyone saying the property is somewhat outdated, I disagree and fully appreciated features like carpet in the honeycomb suites and in the dining areas. It keeps noise down from fellow diners and guests staying in rooms nearby. When can you ever say this in modern stark industrial hotels? This made the experience so cozy. And the place is clean!! It looks and smells fresh. The honeycomb suites are constructed from stone and wood, and it's so refreshing. The food is delicious and well-appointed on the restaurant menus - both brunch and apps and dinners. They change the menus frequently based on what's in season, as a natural property like this should be. Service! Also "outdated" in that it was actually great! Where can you receive personable service anymore? The front desk, hostesses, serving attendants, communication prior to check in, you name it. We were first timers but met many guests who have been returning for decades. We would count ourselves lucky to be able to do the same. Great experience. My only gripe, and it's a legit one, and it can be avoided: room service. It should not be served in plastic in a bag like carry out, at a romantic resort and at this price point. We opted for brunch in our room one morning, and were disappointed to find a bag of food on plastic. No. Beware of this and go the fine dining room to avoid this. I have never ordered room service anywhere in the world and had it delivered in this manner to a $500 per night room. This did not take away from the rest of our experience though, but diners should be warned.

We stopped by the Inn and spoke to this gracious young lady at the restaurant. She said it was open to the public as well. We also spoke to the person at the front desk and picked up pamphlets on what you can do in the area. The rooms looked pricey on the website, I'm not sure if it's a place I would stay. Maybe for a celebration of some sort. It's close to many different Amish Places.

Could use a turnaround at the top of the drive as well as there is no space to maneuver the sharp turn you need to take to get down into the camp area. I lost track of how many wrong turns we made! There was a lady outside her house near the entrance to the place, so we asked her if she knew where we could find the office. She said there was no office, and lots of people before us had to ask her if there was an office or maybe even a real person who could check us in. We only stayed one night, and we never did see the owner or any staff. The firewood pile was soaked and wouldn't burn and the picnic tables were all banged up with many holes in them because they were plastic. The ground was so uneven, we were constantly losing our balance. I don't know, maybe we're just too old to appreciate abandoned campgrounds

It is a newer campground so the trees around the actual campsites are not too big yet. It is clean and very well maintained. The site that I was in was very spacious and level. They have a sand volleyball court, tether ball, basketball and a small playground for the kids, and a hiking trail in the back of the property. There is a small laundry room. While it is located near a pretty busy road, there is not much noise at night. I have found this a very relaxing park and would stay here again.
