Had a great stay here while attending a seminar at the Convention Center. I was greeted with a Happy Birthday at check in. Shawna, the front desk manager, presented me with a little birthday basket. It was filled with ice tea, candy bar, cookie and chips. It was really special! I never received a birthday basket at a hotel before. They were friendly! The place was clean. The morning breakfast was decent. Coffee was good. The only thing is they need better signage along the road, to help identify the street you have to turn down. I would definitely come back when I'm in the area. read more

We were driving to Aurora, Colorado from Herndon, VA and this would be the first of many nights. Having a place that with consistent excellence was important at the end of 7 to 12 hour drivings. We arrived much later then expected, exhausted and couldn't have asked for a better place... Excellent inn, quiet, clean, nice breakfast and the staff on duty Laikin was great to us. This has become my go-to hotel when traveling through eastern Ohio. The upscale hotel is off Interstate 70 south of Cambridge. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Our dog, was welcomed (for $50 fee, of course.) I can't say enough good things about the staff - everyone was super friendly and goes the extra mile. The rooms are modern and clean. While the hotel is just off the highway, there was no noise from the highway. The rooms are quiet. The bed was comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is good with hot and cold options. I enjoyed the yogurt and omelette options. There are plenty of table indoors and out for dining. The coffee was great, but the cups were flimsy and I spilled my first cut. While the fitness room is small with only 4 machines, I was the only one in there. The tv was easy to use on the treadmill with a large selection of channels. The pool is small with an overwhelming smell of chlorine. I opted out of a swim. Outside, there is a nice gas fire pit to gather around, a scenic rock feature and plenty of dog walking areas. We stayed at the nearby Holiday Inn instead because the room we booked online with Fairfield "had not been cleaned and was not actually available". We lost $130 and were not offered a refund or a different room. The only option we were given was to "book and pay for a new room online" So at that point we just left and found someplace else to go because on top of losing money the staff was rude and seemed to have no idea what they were doing. read more

Got stranded with car troubles and this place got good reviews. New building and a nice, clean lobby. The room was clean and had everything I could need overnight, good pillows and comfy mattress - though some weird stains on the bathroom bamboo looking wallpaper in room 423. They sort of advertise a 'rock feature' as this place is built into the side of the hill. Interesting geology but sad they'd cut out so much of a hill and plop a hotel there. Anyway the people were really nice, and when I mentioned I couldn't find any Lyft drivers in the area at 6:45 on a Monday morning, Millie was kind enough to give me a lift to the Walmart to get my vehicle repaired. Great place to stay!! Especially with a pet. The room was comfortable and very clean. You can tell that they take pride in their business. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and they offered a nice variety of items. The shower was so nice. Especially after being on the road. They provide Paul Mitchell products with wonderful scents. Room rate was excellent. We were given a nice "thank you" goodie bag at check-in for being members. Highly recommend!! read more

The room was not clean. There was a black tar like substance on the shower drain. We requested the room to be refreshed, clean towels and empty trash cans. The room wasn't refreshed. Breakfast wasn't very good, watery oatmeal. Coffee ran out. read more

We had a wonderful experience here. Will definitely stay again. The hotel was an easy location just off the highway. Service was very friendly. Hotel seems clean and new. Beds were comfortable. Free breakfast was good. But most significantly, I was nervous and stuck because I learned in the middle of a road trip that I had an important work presentation by videoconference at 7am. When I explained it to the front desk, they told me not to worry and gave me access for free to the executive conference room where I was able to bring in my free coffee and present for 30 minutes using their free high speed internet. The staff here was actively wonderful and so welcoming! I don't usually leave reviews but I wanted to let people know how much we appreciated the staff here. The room was very nice and clean. The rollaway bed we asked for when we made our reservation, was already all set up in the room. The breakfast was great and we had many choices including bacon, eggs and a bunch of grab-and-go options as well. Just to clarify, this isn't a 4-star hotel, but it gets 4 stars for what it is :-). It's only a couple years old, and very clean. The staff was very friendly, and the pool area, though small, was very nice. Breakfast had a decent variety of options, but most of them didn't taste very good, particularly anything involving eggs. It's also right off the interstate which is really nice. read more

I was very happy with my stay here. Pleasant staff, nice room, very comfortable bed and nice bathroom and shower. This place is relatively new, designed well and very clean. I thought the breakfast bar was very nice. This is one of the better breakfast bars that I've had in a long time. There were very nice bagels all different kinds of fruit and whipped cream good coffee nicely done sausage and eggs and ample quantities. So many places seem to buy those cheap muffins and low-quality eggs and yogurt's. But not here. They even had a large bowl of fresh cut pineapple. Right off the interstate it is an easy off and on. This is now my second stay at the Fairfield Inn and suites this year and both have been excellent. I'm going to continue stopping at these inns in the future. read more

We needed to stay while on a long trip for work, and we were very happy with our accommodations. Our concerns are safety and cleanliness during this pandemic, and we felt relieved when we stepped into our room. The room was very clean, as was the bathroom. Our only issue was the air conditioner had a glitch where it was blasting very cold air, and we were worried about our toddler sleeping in his pack-n-play getting too cold during the night. They gave us a few options, and while we couldn't take them up on it because of the sleeping kids, we liked that they had offered some possible solutions. They did help us brainstorm ideas, and stayed on the phone with us while we tried to troubleshoot it. read more

This is your typical Fairfield Inn/Marriot property and this one is reasonably new, less than a year old. The place was very clean and well run from what I saw at my visit there, helpful desk staff and solid internet. Lots of parking right in front and I did not worry about leaving stuff in the car overnight. The free breakfast was typical but not terrible, what you might expect for a free breakfast and it was well prepared. read more

Really excellent property and value. It seems brand new, it is amazingly clean and stocked with great amenities. 2 TVs!! In our room. Excellent customer service and pretty darn nice breakfast bar. (Oatmeal was delicious.) I could not have asked for more (other than being closer to the Regatta site) but well worth the extra drive. I've been staying here every Thursday night for months on a halfway home drive. I stay in another city Mon thru Wednesdays. I try to find a place that is quiet so I can get good sleep at least one night a week and look forward to sleeping until 9am. Although the rooms are very clean and quite comfortable I am roused every Friday morning by the cleaning staff attacking adjoining rooms. They are extremely loud even though I have a do not disturb sign on my door. By loud , I mean banging doors and yelling across the halls to each other. This all starts at 8am. I have asked front desk staff to address this but it hasn't happened. I will unfortunately be looking elsewhere for my weekly stays. read more

This place is new so it's hard to make it look too dirty. Unfortunately for them I notice the details without actually wanting to. The bathroom was dirty on arrival. Nothing noticeable but I realized when I was using the toilet that there was "splashed" dots on the floor that was only around the toilet. Urine from a previous stay. I was walking barefoot so I was quite disgusted. Then I noticed other things like clear liquids that wasn't cleaned off. My tip for these hospitality workers is too clean regardless if you see the dirt or not. I was turned off at the rest of the outlook of my two night stay. The continental breakfast was needed with a race I was doing. But, that was probably one of the worst breakfasts I had in my life. I chose oatmeal and added some toppings. The texture was glue-y and off-putting. The fruit for their fruit salad was old honeydew and grapes which were in an unwashed container. I decided to go eat elsewhere. The coffee here was good though. The best thing in the hotel was the bed. So comfortable. Without those two good things, this place would have less stars from me. read more
