Well worn seat
Kevin M.

My wife and I stopped here as we were wrapping up our East Coast swing vacation. Outwardly the hotel looks terrific and well-kept. Checking into our room (100) showed there was some wear on the furniture including the seats. Standard size pillows on a king size bed? What's up with that? And then, when we went to bed, we found a sheet that barely stretched across the king sized bed. Perhaps a standard or queen size sheet? There was some issue with contactless check-in via the app. We weren't able to actually check in until pulling into the hotel parking lot and the digital key was not ready. Asking the front desk person about it, the response was, it was just finished being cleaned. The overall breakfast was fairly nice and the coffee fresh. Well getting around before leaving for the day. My wife noted that the hairdryer had a partial open in the wire and was working intermittently.

Pay $68 and stay at the Microtel. It's not like they are going to give you the room you booked anyway and the pool is broken.

King bed suit with whirlpool

The hotel is very clean and the employees are very friendly! I checked in to a king suite with a whirlpool. Without the whirlpool the room still would have been awesome. Spacious room with mini fridge and microwave. They have Neutrogena bath products and supplied more than enough towels. This hotel is right off the freeway with several restaurants surrounding it. There is a small shop on site if you forgot something or you can go to the Walmart that is less than a mile away. Breakfast: I usually stay at the embassy because if the breakfast. The breakfast here isn't bad, but the highlight is the waffles. Albeit, they only have one waffle maker so you may have to wait. The eggs were a veggie style pre-made omelette with no other options. They do have breakfast to go bags. I would stay here again.

Beautiful room with a very comfortable bed. The shower is huge, big enough for 2 people. Free wifi and breakfast. Room is nice and contemporary. Rate was a little high, but not bad for the area. A good place to stop after a long day of driving. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

View out our 4th fl window. Was a surprise when we opened the window to see tree trunks and ground.

New property. New room. Neutrogena toiletries. The shower would accommodate 2 adults, very nice for a king suite. Microwave and mini fridge provided. Exceeded my expectations for the location.

False advertising guys. This is now a Best Western, the pool shown in the ad has been closed for 2 years, and this is not acceptable

Very clean, the staff at front was friendly. And the breakfast was pretty decent with a large dining area that was comfortable.

We were located on the first floor about halfway down the hallway from the lobby. The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything in the next rooms. Our neighbors were up at 4:30 being very loud and in the hallway several times slamming their room door each time so we were not able to get much rest due to no sound barrier. The beds were comfy but I don't believe they wash all the bedding between guests. My bed had a large brown stain on the mattress protector you could see on the side of the bed when you pulled back the covers, and my pillows all had leftover hair from someone else. The brown cover on the bed also had something dirty on it. I was surprised they offer breakfast with the stay since the nightly rate is very fair priced. Breakfast was pretty good.

It's a pet-friendly hotel so the room probably had animals staying there and it wasn't cleaned. The bed was sloppily made. We asked for a different room. They claimed not to have any. We left and went to another hotel. I have stayed at other Comfort Inns and they were fine. Avoid this one at all costs.

The front desk clerk was very friendly and there were Otis Spunkmeyer cookies available. Our room was on the 2nd floor. The hotel seemed a little old, but it was clean and functional. After dinner at the Cracker Barrel next door, we went down to the pool. I enjoyed the hot tub. There were a couple of jets that did not seem to be working, but since no one else was around I was able to sit by the working jets. The pool area was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The pillows are on the soft side, but they give you 4 or 5 per bed. The TV and other room amenities were fine. Breakfast was the most varied I have ever seen. The juice dispenser had cranberry, apple, and orange. There were oatmeal packets and a toppings bar. The bread station had both wheat and white bread, bagels, english muffins and biscuits, as well as sweet muffins and cinnamon rolls. The hot station had country gravy, bacon, Canadian bacon, sausage links, and sausage patties, eggs both scrambled and fried as well as home fries. There was also a waffle station. In the fridge were hard boiled eggs, cream cheese, butter, and two brands of yogurt. There was also whole fruit. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and welcoming. We would stay there again.

Pleasant gent at the counter, but they ran out of keys when checking me in. Only a momentary glitch since he went to get some more. The hallway has a musty aroma to it, and although I keep hearing the word "remodeled", I can't find any evidence of it in this or the last decade. Don't try to lean the computer desk chair back. It WILL, but it isn't made to. In other words, it bends backwards and won't come back up. Don't ask me how I learned that little tidbit. The room was a room. Dead bugs in the light fixtures, slow internet (although I was using a VPN since it's an open network), and I decided not to sit on the recliner since it had the remnants of some long-gone resident's hair product permanently stained into it. Decided not to use the coffee maker since the ground pin on the plug was broken off in the outlet. Chipped paint and stained carpets abound, but the bed seemed clean (yes, I pulled up the sheets and mattress cover to check for bedbugs and kept my bag off the floor since it would be difficult to see insects due to the dim lights and dark carpet colors. Unusual ancient shower head gave a rather relaxing massage and the hot water was plentiful. Towels were hit and miss. A couple were thick and a couple were almost see-through. Can't comment on the breakfast, since the COVID protocols call for a bagged breakfast to go. In all, it's a room. I'll be thankful if my car is still outside in the morning, as the clientele milling around the parking lot looked a bit shady. It's worth the cost, as long as you remember "You get what you pay for".
