Restorative yoga class

Wildlight Wellness is the home away from home you've been looking for to meet your wellness needs. They have multiple styles of yoga, breath work, and HIIT classes on their schedule. They offer coaching in Ayurvedic healing, acupuncture, as well as reiki healing sessions through various practitioners. PLUS the in house plant based cafe and boutique are a lovely place to spend an afternoon working when you need to just change your scenery and be surrounded by great energy, but still be productive.

Wildlight Wellness Collective is a collection of beautiful ambiances, well trained staff and delicious options at the cafe. I had the opportunity to enjoy all three of the above when my work took a trip to start the new year off with an hour of meditation. Our guide for the day was the owner of the establishment who was very knowledgeable about all forms of wellness that they offer. After our guided hour, we were able to enjoy the beverages that were offered at the cafe - including tea and coffee. The overall experience was great and I highly recommend taking a $20 test run if you are interested.

This is the place that helped me get into yoga. I took a beginner course which was free. I had a great time and met some wonderful people.

I was meeting my aunt here because we were planning on doing hot yoga together. I had to call her to make sure I was in the right area because I felt like I was in the wrong area. Not very well advertised. I got up to the front desk & the lady wasn't very helpful. My aunt had registered me for a class online & I told her that, & she didn't look me up. She charged me 20 dollars for one class rather than 14 like it said it would cost online. I was very aggravated by that. When we got in the room, it didn't smell very good. I've been in many hot yoga studios & this one just smelt bad. I understand that there is sweat & all that, but it just wasn't the best thing. Then when I was sweating, I found hair sticking to my feet. I'm a blonde, & this hair was black. I was extremely aggravated at this point. It was so disgusting. I even held it up in front of the instructor just so she could see this. Anyways, will not be back. I'm not happy with this place.

I still enjoy the studio immensely-- having a Bikram studio in Winston-Salem is absolutely wonderful, but I have two minor complaints: 1) the carpet sometimes smells a bit like a locker room--I recognize the challenge in keeping things fresh, but I've experienced better at other studios 2) class times-- I realize there might be a limited number of students to attract to the studio, but I WISH there was a 6am class-- I think it would really bring a different crowd into the studio-- both students and working professionals! Another note, Bikram Yoga Winston-Salem recently changed owners, but it's still got the same great teachers and positive energy. Check them out-- look out for a groupon for new students or take advantage of their intro specials. See you on the mat!

I had been wanting to try them out for a while so finally decided to go for. I probably (well definitely) went in a little too hard signing up for their Hot Power Vinyasa class and well it was a pretty torturous hour and a half for me. If you are not rusty in your yoga practice and enjoy a heated class you would probably really enjoy this one. Elliott was the teacher and he was really a big help. I like when teachers correct you here and there and he helped me out a few times throughout the class. The class is definitely a good mix of poses so you don't get bored with the same pose over and over again. Elliott could clearly see that I was struggling a bit (understatement) and asked me after class how I was doing. I told him not too good and he gave me a few tips on things to work on especially my breathing; since well, yoga is pretty much all about that breathing. I would take his class again for sure, even though I was crashing and burning I didn't feel judged or uncomfortable during class. I also like that Paz is not just a yoga studio they also offer Barre and Pilates classes. I plan to try out both since they are included in the first week unlimited. They also have a great variety of class times. I am not a night class person (way too much opportunity to decide you don't want to go to class after all) and they have a few morning and lunch time options. The boutique is nice too, a good variety of lovely pricey workout cloths and accessories. They have a small parking lot on the side of the building and I had no problem finding free street parking right in front of the studio.

Great class with Elliot! Am an out of towner and loved stopping in for a class. Powerful and…read morevigorous class, yet very welcoming.
