Dr. Desiree was the most kind and patient person. Her "bedside manner" was impeccable and was exactly what we needed as we said goodbye to our chocolate lab. She wasn't in any rush and listened to all of our stories with such interest. It was so therapeutic to be able to talk so much about our sweet dog as we were saying our final goodbyes to him in the comfort of our own home. A vet who comes to you?? YES please! Even though our dog loves to go on car rides, the one place she is resistant going is to the Vet. She got hurt this week and her paw was incredibly red & swollen. I texted Dr. Desiree Friday night. She gave me great advice for overnight (putting a sock on my dog's foot to prevent licking....what an easy solution I would have NEVER thought of!) and then squeezed us in for Saturday afternoon. She texted an ETA when we were next & she was right on time. ESPECIALLY in this time of avoiding crowds & public places, the value that Dr. Des provides by coming to your home is invaluable. (For about the same price as it would have cost to go in to a vet office!) Our dog was so much more relaxed & responded better than I expected. The doctor was able to treat our furbaby & provide a "cone of shame" and antiobiotics....and showed us the magic treat that eliminated the battle of trying to get our dog to take a pill. MAGIC! Her bedside manner both with animals & people is an absolute gift. She reads both incredibly well & knows how to meet each one exactly at their need. Her followup the next few days was also a blessing. Yes, she was doing a great job of followup, but you can tell how much she really cares about her patients. If you know me, then you know I am extremely critical. But in this case, I must sing the praises of Dr. Desiree and Wildflower Vet Mobile Services. We have cats - a lot of them! We first engaged Wildflower because of a beloved cat with cancer - I watched him go to our regular vet several times over 2 years, questioning the rapid weight loss over that period from 16 pounds to 8 something. Finally, I called and demanded escalation and our poor cat was scheduled for a sonogram. Meanwhile, I called Wildflower for a second opinion. Dr. Desiree came to my home so my little fellow would not be further traumatized by being caged and dropped off at his usual vet. She did a mini-sonogram and made some recommendations. We took our little guy in for his scheduled analysis and found her observation to be correct. From there, we engaged her to help us combine b12 shots, anti-nausea shots (due to chemo), nutrical, and regular monitoring of weight and condition. He is now at almost 11 pounds and gaining on every visit. We really feel she has added some pleasant years to his life and if you have a cat with small cell lymphoma, we highly recommend you engage her as well. We also have started having her treat another cat who had an auto-immune disorder causing him to lose 8 teeth with the regular vet recommending we pull all of his teeth. He is only 2 years old, so Dr. Desiree is helping us try to save his little teefies with antibiotic injections and recommendations. Again, we are so thankful to have this wonderful service coming into our home to take care of our furry children in an environment in which they are comfortable. read more

First...I LOVE my fur babies- I haven't been the best at keeping their vaccines up to date. Why? Because it is stressful for me and my babes. The different smells the incite fear and sometimes even aggression (nooo not my baby). It is like they know some stranger is going to pick them up and place them on some rug on a cold and sterile metal table. Don't get me wrong the little rug is better than a bare table --- no matter how many times that rug is washed it still has some scents of others left behind. THEN - I learned of the mobile vet concept my first thought.... "WHAT?!?!?!? Could this REALLY be a thing? Oh Lord, it would be an answer to my prayers." Then my analysis paralysis kicked in. I thought about it and thought about it and then just when believed and I had thought enough...I thought some more. I am sure you know what I am talking about. Two years is how long I took to think about it. I finally took a chance and contacted Wildflower Mobile Vet ( www.wildflowermobilevet.com) . Dr. Desiree was quick to respond to my request for an appt. We settled on a time and she arrived 5 minutes before the appt. When she cam into my house my Little Man (7 y/o Papatesse) greeted her with soooo much love and excitement you would have thought they were old friends. Kira (1 y/o DSH kitty), emerged from her slumber with a long stretch and rubbed against her leg. Dr. Des got down in the floor with them while we visited about their overall health and any issues they may have. She has an excellent "bed-side manner", the conversation was easy and flowed naturally. We talked about any vaccines they need and her suggestion of flea/heartworm preventative. She was upfront about cost and there were no surprises on the bottom line. It was a cool morning the day of our appointment so we went outside (Yes, even my cat - please refrain from judgement ). Dr. Des had gone out to her automobile, pulled the vaccines, prescription for Littles and met us out on the patio. She allowed Kira and Littles to set the pace for their vaccines. Littles would come over to her and get an injection a treat and run around the backyard momentarily...because he wanted another treat (Like his Mama...we are food motivated). When he arrived for his treat she would gently scoop him up, give the vaccine and reward his bravery with ... yep....you guessed it... another treat. During this relationship building Littles began to trust her enough to allow her to trim his nails (which he needed desperately- this Mama is NOT equipped to do it) Kira got her treatment in one encounter of Dr. Des snuggles, which I must say looked pretty snuggly from my point of view . Kira, too, trusted Dr. Des immediately. Some people just have that warm, calming, inviting and safe spirit about them and Dr. Des has it. My babies got cared for medically and emotionally all at once and this Mama could NOT be happier. I will never load them up and take to a vet office again...this experience was beyond pleasant ...I was good for my soul. If you and your fur babies have a hard time going to the vet, Please give Dr. Desiree a call - she will love your babies well. read more
