Wildflower Salon/Yelp did not add my photo of a feathered, midlength and shagged hair cut. I brought a photo of a feathered, mid-length and shagged hair style. I asked for a trim. My head got sheared. She did not tyle the top nor the sides of my hair. She just left it where it was. Where the "hairstylist" got the idea I would like this mess, I don't know.I have one inch hair on the top of my head. Three to six months ago, I had it cut similar to the photo I brought showed the "hairstylist". Before she cut any of my hair, I showed her the photo of the way I would like my hair styled and asked that it be similar. The owner, Lauren, has a bad attitude. She is not willing to work with clients. She has a staff that overcharges clients when the services are mediocre. The location is hard to find and when you go inside, the staff aren't friendly. They are egotistical and aloof. Find a place that prioritizes you as the client. Do not go to Wildflower if you are in need of a good colorist. You will be paying for bland work and you will deal with a business owner that does not have the proper leadership to put customer service first. read more

Amelia messed my hair up so badly...I specifically asked to keep my length and subtly touch up my layers and she genuinely made me look like a boy. My hair has NEVER been this short in my entire life -- I had to specifically tell her that it was short enough, but did that stop her? No. This diva needs her license revoked asap. And if the length of it all wasn't bad enough, the face framing pieces of my hair were TERRIBLY uneven. So bad. and the blonde roots she touched up? BROWN on the back of my hair. Never in all my years have I been so HORRIFIED to walk out of a hair appointment. Genuinely 0/10 recommend. I have never in my life have had hair this awful...And the way she styled it for me to leave the salon??? Crunchy yet pin straight at the same time??? mind you my hair is wavy? I've been here three times now, and I've had a different stylist each time. The first one (Matty) was great, but he's no longer at this salon. The second one (who's name I don't remember) was okay, but she really didn't seem happy and now she does not appear to be at the salon anymore, either. But the third one (Indigo) was FANTASTIC. She gave me exactly what I asked for and seemed to genuinely enjoy what she was doing. I really hope she's still there next time I'm due for a cut! read more

We had appointments, one, 2:30 for my friend and 3, for me, we were 4 minutes late due to parking but when we showed up she asked and had gotten straight to work. Gabriella was very friendly and talked to both of us and was so gently and kind on making sure what we saw is what we liked. Did mine and I had originally gotten longer than I wanted half way through and I told her and she was fine by it, probably because these were her 2 only last visible clients for that day. She fixed my mistake and gave me such a great haircut, super happy about how it turned out. Place was so wholesome and nice, recycle people which is dope! reuse reduce recycle. I am so happy to have finally found a fabulous salon in Flagstaff. Nestled in the heart of downtown, Wildflower does not disappoint! Sara is amazing and did exactly what I asked for. I am completely appalled by the lack of professionalism of this salon. They not only list two different addresses both on Google and Uber (in turn complicating how the heck to even get there), but they intentionally do NOT have a receptionist. In turn, you can't simply call and inquire where the heck the salon is located. Guess what else? They completely ignored my email, AND I'm probably going to get charged a cancellation fee for their incompetence. Sadly enough, I make $400k/year. I could have built a lasting relationship with this salon or stylist, if only they'd have done their job. I'll certainly be disputing any cancellation charge with my bank, and I'm undoubtedly telling anyone I know to go to a competitor who actually makes way for you to contact them. read more

Great salon! I love the location; great downtown location. I love the atmosphere; green plants, brick walls, very bright, open and the hair washing room is so neat. I just moved to Flagstaff two weeks ago. I desperately needed my hair cut, and highlighted. I have been with my beautician back in IN. for at least 10 yrs. and I am super picky about who does my hair. I had my hair done by Brenda Banda at Wildflower Salon and I was completely at aww when she was done. She covered up my gray and let my hair feeling and looking great! I am so pleased with her kindness, professionalism and understanding about me being so anxious about going to a new salon. She is WONDERFUL. If I could give her a 10 star I would. Had a cut with Christina. Unfortunately, it was the most shockingly bad experience I've had with a stylist on so many levels. Giving Christina the benefit of the doubt, maybe she was just having a really bad day and couldn't focus, because her behavior, in both her conversation, listening--or lack thereof --and cutting, was all over the place. Or she was on a stimulant. She did not listen to me whatsoever regarding my cut, my hair, and what I wanted, to the point where she actually did the exact opposite of what I was saying. Unfortunately, she is also very quick, so she would cut before I had a chance to say anything. She used the wrong tools on my very fine hair, disregarding the 5+ decades of experience I've had with my hair. I'm left with my scalp showing through on one side, which happens to be cut longer--not by design--than the other side, minimal cutting and texturizing to the front and top because she rushed me out of her chair when she realized this had gone horribly wrong. And all this occurred after she provided me with a lecture on "respecting her craft and art." So probably my fault right there for not existing the salon immediately at that point. So if you're even just a little bit picky and like time with a stylist, Christina is not for you. But if you want someone to completely take over, do what they want, and do it extremely quickly, without you having to provide any input, and you don't care about the end result much, this might be a good fit. read more

I started going to Kaylie several months ago while she was still at Tirzah Salon, and have since followed her to this new salon that she recently opened with her sister. She is very personable and fun to talk to, and does an amazing job with my hair. She gave my balayage a serious upgrade with a nice blend of colors and an awesome cut to go along with it. I have been seeing Shawna for about 7 years now, and she is the only person I trust with my hair!!! We have bleached, cut, colored to natural, added fun punky colors and back to bleaching. She takes her time to get to know you and what you want. She gives awesome recommendations when you need some new inspiration with your hair. And she will also tell you know it is/going to be if you want to do something drastic with your hair. Because she cares so much, she has stopped me getting bangs, cutting off all my hair, kept me from bleaching again before I was ready, and then we went all out when I was ready to start bleaching again. She is the best person to have bleach your hair if that is what you are looking for. She uses Olaplex in her bleach to help keep your hair healthy, and then recommends the best tips for upkeep and to avoid that icky yellow band. Please go see this wonderful person to get your hair done! As for the Salon...I absolutely love it!!! It is clean and simple. It is decorated with flowers and does not overload the sensory system. Very modern. Also!...they have reclining shampoo bowls!!!! No more sore neck when getting rinsed!!! WOO!!! Go see these ladies!! They are amazing!!! read more
