Weird experience. I was there two hours which is ok.. but my nails aren't exactly the shape that I was looking for. I originally had asked for red French tips, but the price was so high. She told me it would be $10 to remove my nails, then I would have to pay for dip, then I would have to pay for the shellac, and the French design. So I decided just to do plain red with no shellac. When I went to check out, she told me it was $70. How is that only five dollars less? So when I asked, she said it's because the original quote was a "discounted" .. $75 does not feel like a discount but why was there a discount and then when I decided to make it less complicated, there was no discount? I came into this nail shop yesterday with 2 of my friends for mani-pedis around 4 pm. We did come in for a walk in, which we called before and they said it was okay. It was fine at first, I did have to wait a while to even get my nails started but I didn't mind since we did do a walk in. I got placed with one of their male employees which even at the start was not very helpful. He seemed to be annoyed by almost any request I had for my nails, but I didn't mind at first. I didn't have any "complaints" until I noticed one of my nails was put on crooked. I could tell by just looking at it closely that it was placed unevenly and this was before we even started the process since it was just the tips, so I didn't think it was a big deal to ask to get it fixed. I asked nicely if we were able to straighten it out a little and he asked me "Have you never got your nails done before?", he was trying to make it seem like it's normal for them to be crooked... Which I have never dealt with at another shop! I laughed it off tho, already feeling uncomfortable. It took him a really long time to shape my nails, I'd say the process took almost 2 hours which is long for me but really wasn't a big deal at the time. Then he started on my french tips, and I'm personally used to nail techs showing me them before they cure them. He didn't ask me how I felt about them and when he started on my next hand I was looking at my french tips and was very unhappy with how they turned out! I know they can't always be perfect, but they were visibly uneven, nail polish left below the french tip (on my pinky). I provided photos and you can tell they do not look good! After he was finished and cured the other hand, I asked if he was finished with the french tips, hoping he would mention smoothing them out later. But no, he said he was done with them. After that I asked him if he would be able to smooth them out for me, very nicely by the way! I was very nice throughout this whole ordeal, but I was left with nothing but attitude from this nail tech He started asking me what was wrong with them, and I was trying to explain how they are a little crooked and pointing them out. He then got louder, and at this point my friends could overhear him even though they were across the salon. He said "Do you want me to grab a magnifying glass so I can see your nails?" which he kept repeating. I immediately was uncomfortable and got quiet, asking if I could just get them fixed. At this point he shot up, and walked away from me saying someone else will do my nails. I have never dealt with someone so unprofessional. This was a service that he was being paid for, and me asking for him to fix something that is just bad shouldn't be an issue. Who I think was the owner or person in charge was very nice, trying to say maybe he's in a bad mood and apologized to me. I was extremely upset at how he had just treated me and when I asked for his name, they avoided giving it to me at all costs. I only gave a 3 star review because of the other workers being nice to me after the other tech was rude. They only got super nice after I mentioned wanting his name, probably knowing I would write a review. The employee was a male probably 40s-50s, he had hair (I say this because another employee around his age doesn't), I know that's not much of a description, but it's all I can do without his name. My daughter and I both just needed our nails painted with gel polish, and to our surprise they told us it would be $45-$55 depending on length of our nails. I can't understand how this is even possible when we had our own gel polish to use. So all we need is their time to paint them for us which would have probably been less than 5 minutes each. I feel this was a huge scam, because I can remember pre covid paying about 20-25 for this type of service. Which is much more reasonable. Anyways. I went into this nail salon for a simple pedicure and left completely disgusted. From the moment I sat down, I noticed the person assigned to my feet was a literal 12-year-old boy. Not a teenager -- a young child who looked like he should still be in elementary school. When I asked about it, they told me it was "fine" and that he was just "helping out." I was already uncomfortable, but I let it go thinking maybe he was only observing. Nope. This unlicensed boy was doing my entire pedicure -- cutting, scrubbing, painting, the works. Zero supervision from any actual licensed cosmetologist that I could see. I paid full price for this "service" ($65 + tip), which is ridiculous. A 12-year-old boy with no license, no training, and no business touching anyone's feet was performing a professional service and they charged me the adult rate. My family politely pointed out how inappropriate and potentially unsafe this was. Instead of apologizing or offering any explanation, the salon owner got defensive and told us we were "no longer welcome" and to never come back. Are you kidding me? They banned us for complaining about a child worker with no license! This place is a huge liability. I would not be surprised if they get shut down. There was a little boy who started my pedicure and didn't really know what he was doing. The website says experienced nail techs and he was definitely not one, by no fault of his own. He told me his mom would have to do the rest. I went to have a relaxing experience and was not able to because I had to pay attention to all the parts I was missing. They left out parts of the pedicure I requested and only discounted 5 dollars. When his mother came over and did my toe nails they looked good but it was extremely rushed and if I'm paying for the experience I'd like to receive everything I came for. I felt very uncomfortable even saying anything to them because I didn't want to be rude but it's really unacceptable. If a relaxing, QUALITY spa experience is what you're looking for, do NOT come to this salon. They charge luxury salon prices, but cannot execute a BASIC almond French and they will blame you for it. If negative ratings were possible, that's what I'd give for lack of accountability, shaming of customers for THEIR inability to perform basic staple nail polish designs and charging exorbitant prices for mediocre work. To be fair, I visited this salon twice prior to writing this review. My first visit, I made an appt two hours in advance for a gel mani and regular pedi. I arrived on time and still waited 20 minutes which for a nail salon is pretty typical, no big deal. I was then paired with a gal to do my pedicure and when I expressed my want for French with a simple flower design, she informed me designs were not her strongpoint and that she would see if someone else was available to do it. No one else was available to help her, so she drew a flower herself (literally 5 points connected at the center). It came out ugly and she said she'd redo it but she tried several times so I told her I was fine with it so that we could move on with the appointment- I was stressed out at this point. This "spa day" was for the anniversary of my daughter's passing. I then moved over to get a gel mani and as my luck would have it, the same girl was assigned to do my mani :( I immediately knew this was going to be a hassle since she could barely do a flower on my big toes and I wanted more elaborate designs on my hands. I asked for a medium French mani with simple 5 pointed flowers on my thumbs and sparkles smudged across the white line; no acrylic, no falsies, no hombre, NOTHING crazy. She didn't understand so I showed her a picture. She then proceeded to lay not one, but 3 initial clear coats of gel polish. My nails were getting fatter and clunkier and I was getting more and more stressed about the way they looked so fat and bubbly in areas. As she started to draw the white line, she kept drawing it straight across the tip of my nail. There was no curve, and no tails that denote a classic FRENCH polish. She did this same thing several times and every time I would tell her "No", she kept saying that "I was difficult" and "I was wanting too perfect." EXCUSE ME?? I literally just want a French and YOU cannot draw it. All of this commotion drew the attention of Jennifer (boss) and she took over the job for this girl. Jennifer also could not draw a basic French- again not drawing the curve with the shape of the nail. I have never had to explain this in 40 yrs of getting nails done but I showed her the pic I had brought for reference. To my request for sparkles- Jennifer kept telling me that "it was an ADVANCED design that would be a $15 up charge PER HAND," for SPARKLE polish to be lightly SMUDGED across the white line. Never has anyone said this in 40 yrs. Long story short, she could not execute the look either. It took her over an hour and each time SHE got it wrong, she didn't hesitate to tell me that I was a "very difficult customer" and even stated "oh my poor clients just waiting and waiting because you are taking so long." UM EXCUSE ME WHAT? You cannot execute a simple almond french polish so I am the one making them wait??? I stated to her that that was a rude comment as I had made an appointment and was still here TWO hours later to which she responded again that "I was a very difficult customer." I was so stressed and upset at this point, never have I experienced such unprofessionalism. At the end of my paint, she shoved my hand under UV and then walked away to start work on another person. I stated to her that I had paid for the mani package that included a massage and she literally grabbed my arm, slapped some lotion on it, rubbed it back and forth 3 times, dropped it and walked away with lotion still clumped on my arm. She was RUDE, argumentative, kept telling me I was difficult and impossible for BASIC mani/pedi staples and STILL charged $15 per hand for sparkles after seeing how easily they were smudged on with a finger; this was on top of the additional $10 up charge for French, plus the cost of the manicure/pedicure package. I walked out of that salon after TWO hours of STRESS and having paid $135 for ugly fat, bubbly nails. The second time I went, I walked in with a coworker, described what we wanted, were taken, seated and once I was recognized as being "the difficult customer" was told that I had to make an appt with the boss "Jennifer" directly and that she didn't have time for me- after she said she did and sat me. We walked out of there a second time, went to a salon down the street, described what I wanted to a MALE nail tech, and had him execute exactly what I was asking, no questions asked, for $75 mani/pedi combo. 66 nails charges luxury salon prices for ugly, unskilled nails. They are RUDE. Do yourself a favor and pick another spot. Your pockets, eyes and nervous system will thank you. read more

Well my friend has been a regular here for a while. I took the advice to go and try the place out. The blatantly have an our policy sign displayed that says if you have any problem with your nails that they will be happy to fix it before leaving if you tell them. Well we told them, what we received was an argument saying that we were asking if they looked okay and yes under florescent light they looked okay, but when we got to the register we couldn't see the design. We were told it was our fault and our colors. I said did you know the colors were to similar in the beginning and she said yes. As a nail tech it is your job to say if they will turn out like a photo especially if we are trying to color match the photo. They did nothing to offer to fix it when we tried explaining, other than saying to not tip them. When we finally went outside, we were chased after and then offered to come back a different day to get them fixed. Came back and still met with attitude about the color change. When asking her opinion she said, "i don't know ask your friend". anyway just had to share the experience.
