Weird experience. I was there two hours which is ok.. but my nails aren't exactly the shape that I was looking for. I originally had asked for red French tips, but the price was so high. She told me it would be $10 to remove my nails, then I would have to pay for dip, then I would have to pay for the shellac, and the French design. So I decided just to do plain red with no shellac. When I went to check out, she told me it was $70. How is that only five dollars less? So when I asked, she said it's because the original quote was a "discounted" .. $75 does not feel like a discount but why was there a discount and then when I decided to make it less complicated, there was no discount? It felt like she just wanted to make the same amount regardless of the service. It seems like you have to go to Phoenix if you want your nails done right.

Nails are very damaged, rings of fire on every nail, and breaking by the cuticle.

Acrylic glue will severely damage your nails. Don't bother going here, they don't want to do their job. Staff always complains about simple designs/ plain nails being too difficult but still somehow charge $100+ very difficult to find a good nail spa in flagstaff

I visit this salon maybe 2-3 times per year (I live in Phoenix) but they always do a fabulous job! I love going first thing at open when it's quiet. The salon is very nice and clean. Today I got a winter snowflake design and the girl absolutely crushed it. Thank you for the beautiful nails!

I got a full acrylic gel set with 66 Nail Spa and they turned out absolutely beautiful! Her attention to detail was phenomenal and the shaping is so symmetrical unlike so many places I have gone to in the past. They were so busy and fit me in really quickly. I am super happy with the result and would definitely recommend!

Customer service was really good! I got a gel pedicure though and the polish is horrible and splotchy. It looks like it was only painted over once and wasn't really cleaned up properly. I wouldn't go here again, this was probably one of the worst pedicures i've ever had.

Sooo crazy expensive!! Would've been $140 for a regular set with small designs if I didn't have a $20 voucher. I've never paid this much for a set. Definitely over charges service. She wouldn't let me leave unless I wrote a 5 STAR review and posted the pictures she took of my nails. Kind of a crazy length to go for a review. She was also a bit rude, upcharged like crazy. I unfortunately cannot recommend this nail salon. My daughter and I both just needed our nails painted with gel polish, and to our surprise they told us it would be $45-$55 depending on length of our nails. I can't understand how this is even possible when we had our own gel polish to use. So all we need is their time to paint them for us which would have probably been less than 5 minutes each. I feel this was a huge scam, because I can remember pre covid paying about 20-25 for this type of service. Which is much more reasonable. Anyways. I felt they gave us such a high cost not to do it for us, but that's what your business is. A NAIL salon, you paint nails too. Smh. read more

Well my friend has been a regular here for a while. I took the advice to go and try the place out. The blatantly have an our policy sign displayed that says if you have any problem with your nails that they will be happy to fix it before leaving if you tell them. Well we told them, what we received was an argument saying that we were asking if they looked okay and yes under florescent light they looked okay, but when we got to the register we couldn't see the design. We were told it was our fault and our colors. I said did you know the colors were to similar in the beginning and she said yes. As a nail tech it is your job to say if they will turn out like a photo especially if we are trying to color match the photo. They did nothing to offer to fix it when we tried explaining, other than saying to not tip them. When we finally went outside, we were chased after and then offered to come back a different day to get them fixed. Came back and still met with attitude about the color change. When asking her opinion she said, "i don't know ask your friend". anyway just had to share the experience. I know it is close to a holiday and people are busy but we sat and waited an hour for our 3:30 appointment and got started at 4:30. Kisses read more

If a relaxing, QUALITY spa experience is what you're looking for, do NOT come to this salon. They charge luxury salon prices, but cannot execute a BASIC almond French and they will blame you for it. If negative ratings were possible, that's what I'd give for lack of accountability, shaming of customers for THEIR inability to perform basic staple nail polish designs and charging exorbitant prices for mediocre work. To be fair, I visited this salon twice prior to writing this review. My first visit, I made an appt two hours in advance for a gel mani and regular pedi. I arrived on time and still waited 20 minutes which for a nail salon is pretty typical, no big deal. I was then paired with a gal to do my pedicure and when I expressed my want for French with a simple flower design, she informed me designs were not her strongpoint and that she would see if someone else was available to do it. No one else was available to help her, so she drew a flower herself (literally 5 points connected at the center). It came out ugly and she said she'd redo it but she tried several times so I told her I was fine with it so that we could move on with the appointment- I was stressed out at this point. This "spa day" was for the anniversary of my daughter's passing. I then moved over to get a gel mani and as my luck would have it, the same girl was assigned to do my mani :( I immediately knew this was going to be a hassle since she could barely do a flower on my big toes and I wanted more elaborate designs on my hands. I asked for a medium French mani with simple 5 pointed flowers on my thumbs and sparkles smudged across the white line; no acrylic, no falsies, no hombre, NOTHING crazy. She didn't understand so I showed her a picture. She then proceeded to lay not one, but 3 initial clear coats of gel polish. My nails were getting fatter and clunkier and I was getting more and more stressed about the way they looked so fat and bubbly in areas. As she started to draw the white line, she kept drawing it straight across the tip of my nail. There was no curve, and no tails that denote a classic FRENCH polish. She did this same thing several times and every time I would tell her "No", she kept saying that "I was difficult" and "I was wanting too perfect." EXCUSE ME?? I literally just want a French and YOU cannot draw it. All of this commotion drew the attention of Jennifer (boss) and she took over the job for this girl. Jennifer also could not draw a basic French- again not drawing the curve with the shape of the nail. I have never had to explain this in 40 yrs of getting nails done but I showed her the pic I had brought for reference. To my request for sparkles- Jennifer kept telling me that "it was an ADVANCED design that would be a $15 up charge PER HAND," for SPARKLE polish to be lightly SMUDGED across the white line. Never has anyone said this in 40 yrs. Long story short, she could not execute the look either. It took her over an hour and each time SHE got it wrong, she didn't hesitate to tell me that I was a "very difficult customer" and even stated "oh my poor clients just waiting and waiting because you are taking so long." UM EXCUSE ME WHAT? You cannot execute a simple almond french polish so I am the one making them wait??? I stated to her that that was a rude comment as I had made an appointment and was still here TWO hours later to which she responded again that "I was a very difficult customer." I was so stressed and upset at this point, never have I experienced such unprofessionalism. At the end of my paint, she shoved my hand under UV and then walked away to start work on another person. I stated to her that I had paid for the mani package that included a massage and she literally grabbed my arm, slapped some lotion on it, rubbed it back and forth 3 times, dropped it and walked away with lotion still clumped on my arm. She was RUDE, argumentative, kept telling me I was difficult and impossible for BASIC mani/pedi staples and STILL charged $15 per hand for sparkles after seeing how easily they were smudged on with a finger; this was on top of the additional $10 up charge for French, plus the cost of the manicure/pedicure package. I walked out of that salon after TWO hours of STRESS and having paid $135 for ugly fat, bubbly nails. The second time I went, I walked in with a coworker, described what we wanted, were taken, seated and once I was recognized as being "the difficult customer" was told that I had to make an appt with the boss "Jennifer" directly and that she didn't have time for me- after she said she did and sat me. We walked out of there a second time, went to a salon down the street, described what I wanted to a MALE nail tech, and had him execute exactly what I was asking, no questions asked, for $75 mani/pedi combo. 66 nails charges luxury salon prices for ugly, unskilled nails. They are RUDE. Do yourself a favor and pick another spot. Your pockets, eyes and nervous system will thank you. read more

Not the worst pedicure I have ever had but far from the best. The Delixe pedicure I picked included cuticle clean up, which was not done (I was talking to my friend in the next chair) and my tech speeded through as fast as possible. Massage was not relaxing. If you want a quality job done don't go here. read more

I went in on Friday to get a full set. They were extremely rude to me.. I couldn't understand what they were saying half the time and because of that they would laugh at me because I was confused. The guy that did my nails hurt me really bad. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Everyone that works there is extremely rude and speak hardly any English at all which makes it difficult to tell them what you want. read more

Trish was my pedicurist today and i just came to say that she gave me the best french pedicure i've had since living in flagstaff for 11 years. she was kind, attentive to detail and gave me an all around wonderful experience. i don't usually leave reviews or request a certain stylist but after today i will be coming back and asking for Trish every time! it's hard to find stylists that give me the french tips im looking for and this girl did exactly what i wanted without me having to ask. will be recommending Trish at Route 66 nails to any of my friends asking who does the best nails in Flagstaff! thank you again Trish! read more

Jennifer was absolutely amazing!! She saw my acrylics needed to be redone (more than a fill) & took her time making sure my nails were exactly how I wanted. The atmosphere of the store was wonderful, and I got seated on a Saturday walk in super quickly!! Best nail salon in Flag 100% Update: Still absolutely amazing!! So I only been to this place twice and not going back ever just like to most of these rinka dink nail shops, u want to rush in someone u don't know ok here u go. Tired of not getting good customer service if u don't stop working. Do a better job there isn't any excuse why the whole nail comes off after I get out the shower the same day of getting them done or a couple days. I went back and got a color change and this other guy cut something sticking up and now my second toe look dumb. I got a ig light I can do this shit better myself. read more

Was a little nervous going here after reading the comments but I decided to try it out. My experience was great. I got a full set of acrylics with a pretty simple design on the two middle fingers and french tip on the rest. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the attention to details on the nails/design weren't as precise as i hoped. Price wasn't awful, $70+ tip, which is to be expected now days. read more

I love this place! Clean, reasonable prices. Basic manicures are $25! It goes up from there but very affordable base pay. The pedicures are where it is at though. I like the deluxe one. You get more time for massage and after being on your feet all day this is such a treat! They do a fabulous job. It can get busy but even a walk in can be accommodated. I chose DND red for my colors. Beautiful!! read more

So, I have decided to write this review. I had an appointment on Monday at 2:50pm for a custom facial. This was my first time to the spa. Kayla was my esthetician. She seemed very nice. The problems began when I got on the table. It was really cold in the room. I guess I expected the table and blankets to be warm considering it was snowing outside. When she started the facial, I just felt she had little to no experience in what she was doing. I have had many facials, and this was by far the worst I've ever experienced. I couldn't even relax and enjoy it because it was so bad. She was also wearing gloves that were too big for her hands, and it just felt so bad on my face. I've never had a facial where the esthetician wore gloves. I am an ER nurse, and I haven't had a facial in over a year. I was really looking forward to this. For a $155.00 facial, my expectations were high. I booked the Custom Facial online and the description I copy pasted below from Vagaro. Custom Facial $155.00 Our Custom 60 min Facial with L.E.D. is a tailored experience designed to address your unique skin concerns. Our skilled estheticians will assess your complexion and create a personalized treatment plan just for you, this facial is all about catering to your specific needs. Walk out with a happy glow that is uniquely. Book Now The facial started at 2:50pm and ended at 3:30pm. That was only 40 minutes, not 60 minutes in the description. There was no LED. There was no assessment of my complexion to create a personalized treatment plan. She didn't talk to me at all during the facial. There were a few extractions which she mostly just concentrated on my nose. I felt she was distracted or something. There was no pressure at all used when she was trying to massage my shoulders. It felt awful. I literally couldn't wait for it to be over. I felt ripped off to be honest. I would not recommend this spa to anyone after my experience.

I have finally found it!! 66 Nail Spa is clean, bright and beautiful inside. The staff is super friendly and the music was great. Fun and funky I found myself singing along. The mani pedi was the best I've ever had. Great detail on the care of the nails, cleaned and prepped perfectly. Always asking about the temperature and checking in on how I liked it. Made me feel anything I asked for was just part of the service and not like I was bugging them. And hands down I would have paid for just the foot massage!! I am an out-of-town visitor who unexpectedly needed a fill and a pedicure. I was nearby so popped in this shop and was pleased to get same-day appts for both. Andy and his wife, Jen (as well as mom who helped) did outstanding jobs and most important to me - were exceedingly friendly and attentive. Loved! I went for the first time today after hearing many good things and they didn't disappoint! I went for a fill and a nail design and everything was great. I had sonny and he was very compliant and was willing to do whatever I wanted included changes. They were all very caring and was willing to do there best for me. This place is great! I didn't have high expectations for a small town nail salon. I've been here twice and Tammy has done a wonderful job every visit. The salon is super clean and is always very busy, so I make sure to make an appointment. They are very fast though so they take walk ins very quickly. This is by far the best salon in town. 66 nails has wonderful customer service, it's very welcoming and clean. The prices are fair, and everything is done in a timely manner. Flagstaff locals know we have a lot of salons but most of them aren't worth returning too. I'm super happy I found this new salon close to my house. The slain is clean and stylish. I saw Kathy today and she did an amazing job on my nails. I expressed to her that a previous spa is been going to had filed my nails down so much to take off the polish or powder that my nails got really thin, so she was very delicate while filling off the gel to protect my natural nails. This place is really good at nails if u want to wait at least 20 minuets even if u make an appointment, I used to only come to nail 66 in flagstaff but the last 4 times I've come I've had appointments in advanced and had to wait at LEAST 20 minuets after my appointed time; people r nice tho read more
