I like to think I have a high pain tolerance but was still scared to get a Brazilian wax. Leah was so nice my first visit and walked me through the steps. If I was too overwhelmed she gave me a break before moving on. I can't count how many times I went back but they were all worth it. She not only works with her clients schedules, she also makes it up tenfold if there's anything wrong. I unfortunately moved away and have not been able to find anyone who uses wax that leaves my skin feeling perfectly fine as soon as I leave the salon. I always walked out of the salon happy and even recommended her to friends. I arrived about 20 mins early and Leah was able to get me in 10 mins before my appointment which was nice. Everything was normal but what was very unsanitary was the pillow to lay your head on. No cover just a plain pillow. Talk about lice! Then I tell Leah to keep my natural shape and just clean up. She takes off half my eyebrow!!! She claimed it was because my "eyebrows were straight". Not true. Save your money and just drive to Phoenix to the European Wax Center. Better prices and more well trained people. They also charge more if you use a card. Booked a 10AM appointment. I live 2 1/2 hours away (not many waxing options in the middle of nowhere). Show up, nobody there. So I call, no answer. I send a text. 20 minutes later I get a text saying all today's appointments had to be rescheduled and I should have gotten an email. I told her I didn't get any email about this. I got an email the day before confirming the appointment, and an email the morning of to confirm the appointment. I even got a text at 8AM confirming the appointment. I tell her all this and get no response back... just ignores a customer. Guess I'll be going elsewhere. read more

Was more than a little sad when Namaste Spa left Sedona & I was going to have to find a new salon (which meant commuting to Flag). Leah made this all better. She's super cool and savvy and nice. Conversational & professional, and most important: painless & FAST. Literally the fastest ever. Which we all know is a good thing. Such a great experience! Just got out of a Brazilian wax with Lea and I couldn't be more pleased. I've only had 2 brazilians before and afterwards I promised myself I would never get it done again because of how painful they were. However, I'm pregnant and since I can no longer see that area of my body I decided to try it again. Thankfully I was put with Lea because she is awesome. It was so quick and not even that painful. She slowed down whenever I needed her to, was very friendly, and comfortable. I'm really sad about my experience here today. The cut and color seem fine, but it's hard to tell because my hair is still wet. Every time I have ever had a hair cut at a salon, they have always blown out my hair. Two hours later, my hair is still damp. I paid $135 excluding tip and it just seems so pricy for what I got. I really liked this place from the start. There were great reviews and it's local. I had great results my first visit. Unfortunately, having come here a little several times the results are inconsistent. I generally just need touch ups and have had waxings for years, so this wasn't my first time. Some of my waxes were beautiful here while another they accidentally took out some of my shape, due to too much wax. Which I ended up having to fill in with makeup. Not a huge hassle, but not fun either. During my last visit, my brows looked fine and clean after the waxing. Awesome! Until later that day when I realized there was still hair in between my brows. Yikes. It didn't even occur to me that at the appointment she didn't even wax or tweeze between my brows. While my eyebrows always look great every time I leave here, its unfortunate that the last three times I've scheduled an appointment/shown up to my appointment it has been a hassle. Either someone isn't there or they're late or texting me saying they close at a certain time before my appointment time.
