There are still a few TVs around so that gives parents a space to still catch up on a game even with kids in tow. We went with our kids and the kids menu was actually decent. A selection of pasta, traditional pub fare like chicken fingers and fish and chips to hot dog and hamburgers. It comes with a juice box, a side (fries or salad etc that can also be upgrade to poutine or sweet potato fries. We ended up ordering the fish bites (mini fish and chips) and chicken fingers. They were both done very well. There was sufficient breading but not overwhelming. Kids loved it. Fries were done just right. The ice cream was on point. Juice boxes were nothing special. I had the southwest linguine. It was a pleasant surprise. A decent amount of protein and veggies (chicken and shrimp) and it had a bit of kick which I wasn't expecting. It comes with garlic toast which was also quite good. We finished the meal with a slice of pumpkin cheesecake. That was heavenly. It was a bit more of the sweet side for us but nonetheless it really hit the spot. Service was ok. They didn't check in very much and it wasn't busy. Would have liked our water refilled. Otherwise decent meal. Would be back!

That's become somewhat of a thursday ritual for us now every time we visit this place. The waitresses are young but they're very good w/ customers. They always give us dips when we order our wings which is awesome. Being the foodie I am, I've been trying to branch out across the GTA in search of great wings but I'm ALWAYS reminded of the quality of the wings here! It's become nostalgic at this point. I wouldn't be surprised if this joint is literally keeping businesses alive on Main St in Stouffville lol.

It was not a huge spot and no small table left so we settled for bar seats. We tried 2 lbs of wings. As 2 lbs wings only come with 1 flavor, we ordered two 1 lb wings to try 2 diff flavors. We have chosen wings with bone and one with spicy jerk sauce and the other one was spicy Cajun dry rub. Wings came with veg sticks and dib and no fries. Wings are fresh, crunchy on the outside and very tender on the inside. Both flavors we picked gave us some serious spicy pleasurable kicks. Service was also attentive and relaxed. We will be back for more!

They are on the west…read moreside of town, in the same complex as the UPS - right next to it actually, where the India 360 used to be. They have wings (which for some reason don't show up on their Uber eats page), a bunch of bar-style food (appetizers, burgers, nachos), and also Tamil dishes Iike curries, rotis, and samosas. There is a 'order ahead' button on their website which I tried - they are supposed to call/email to confirm they received my order, but they didn't get it right away and it was getting near the time I wanted to pick it up so I ended up calling to order. I ordered the wing combo #3, which is 3 lbs of wings in 3 flavours, fries and 3 sodas. Wings were a good size (apparently you can get them grilled or baked for +$2), and flavours were great: - salt & pepper: great, evenly spiced, crispy and not breaded - Kansas bbq: sticky and saucy, smoky and sweet - Sri Lankan devil: the spiciest wings they offer - they called me back to check to advise they finish it with spicy fresh green chilies (yes please!). It was a big saucy - super flavourful spices that I couldn't identify - and a slow to creep, lingering heat. Loved it! The Greek salad was good - lots of cucumber, feta, olives (unpitted), and tomato chunks, though it was non-traditional in that it was on a bed of lettuce. I think they forgot the red onion though. I ordered a poutine (still on a hunt for the best poutine in town) - it's pretty big, real cheese curds, darker (but not beefy) gravy which was pretty salty. I'm not a French fry person - these ones were a normal size/thickness. Overall - fine, but not great. I wonder if they would have swapped the fries in the combo for the poutine - I'll have to ask next time as my preference is poutine over fries, even if it's not a great poutine. Finally, I ordered a mutton roll (for $2, why not!) - didn't know what to expect but it turned out to be a delicious spicy mutton and potato mix rolled into a roti and then deep fried. They also threw in some complimentary samosas - deep fried triangles stuffed with potatoes and bright green peas - Indian spices but not particularly spicy as both my toddler and kindergartener devoured them. Not too greasy either. Overall, I'm happy with the experience and would recommend it. The woman at the cash was very friendly, and she even called me back a minute after I'd left to apologize that she'd forgotten to give me the sodas (thankfully I was checking out the new supermarket next door so it wasn't an inconvenience to come back). The only thing is that I found it on the expensive side, but I suppose it is on par with other wing prices in town. I didn't see an option to purchase just wings outside of a combo so I'll have to ask next time.

Once we were seated though, the servers were very friendly despite how busy it was. Seating was comfortable but the floors were quite sticky and had quite a bit of leftover food pieces by the evening. Since it was a game night, we ordered the special, 1lb of wings with a beer. Food is pretty constant, and the wings and fries were good, but I felt as though they give significantly less fries in comparison to other locations. A little disappointing as the St. Louis fries are the best of the meal in my opinion! When we finished and paid, I was surprised that they actually charged us for the wings and beer separately instead of the game night offer. They corrected it after I bought it up but I'm glad I checked the bill first! Overall, I'm wondering if it just happened to be an off day due to being understaffed. The food is still good and the location is close to home so I'd definitely be back to give them another try.

I know the closest St. Louis place from work and home. For months, I have been driving up to Whitchurch-Stouffville to get groceries and more on Wednesdays. I have passed by this St. Louis location, salivating as I think of wings. I finally dropped by this week to pick up my takeout order. If you have been reading my reviews as of late, I have a healthy habit of looking at menus on my handful of food-ordering apps. On Skip the Dishes, I noticed that from now until December 13, 2020, you can order a pound of wings at 50% off the normal price. Insane! I ordered a pound of chipotle mango dry rub wings. Instead of going with the usual celery and carrot sticks, I upgraded to coleslaw. Getting such a sweet deal makes me feel like I am getting away with murder. I ended up getting some garlic sticks. I need carbs! I ordered in my car, parked outside of Giant Tiger. My order would take roughly 25 minutes. Great! Well, the lineup at Giant Tiger was extremely long. By the time I got in my car, Skip the Dishes indicated that I had two minutes before my order was ready for pickup. Nice! I drove over to St. Louis. I parked near the eatery and walked over. York region is not in lockdown. There were patrons dining and chatting. Tables were spaced apart. It looked clean. I stood at the front and looked at the sign-in customer log for COVID-19 tracking during this pandemic. I then saw what appeared to be my order on the bar's counter and headed over there. The female bartender was so friendly. She said, "You must be Mary T!" I nodded. She handed me my order. I thanked her and wished her a great evening. I drove home and chowed down. The chipotle mango dry rub was so good. It has lots of flavour. I like dry rubs these days because I don't need so much sugar in my system. I dig this flavour. It was my first time having it and won't be my last. The coleslaw is a generous portion. It's vinegar-based. If you like the creamy type, you're out of luck here. It was yummy. I couldn't eat it all and had the remainder the following day for lunch. It was even better! The garlic sticks looked like larger fries. It came with marinara sauce. I could taste the garlic. The sticks were chewy and highly enjoyable to eat. I am a garlic fan and wanted more garlic flavour on them. However, the wings came with creamy dill sauce, which does wonders dipping these garlic sticks in it and the marinara sauce. The menu says that it's pizza sauce. There are small chunks of tomato in it. It tasted more like fresh marinara sauce. Yummy! I am a fan of this eatery. It looks fairly new. The bar is stunning. The television screens showing various sports games were crisp and vivid. I am likely coming back to take advantage of this promotion until it ends. Even without it, I will return because I love the wings here and I had a wonderful experience. (431)

Jenna, who took my order, was friendly and professional, efficient, but willing to give her time and opinion to help me decide on the order. Now that's good service. This was my first time here, and it is great to have some quality BBQ so close by in Pickering. Main event: The Ribs. These ribs are amazing. I had them sauced with the terrific house sauce (sauce so good that I bought a jarful - Jenna told me that they just made it this morning!). The ribs are tender, but have a nice tug and chew so that you know it's meat (as opposed to the fall-off-the-bone, melt in your mouth kind that make you feel like you are eating stewed meat - kind of like what happens when I make ribs for my family). The sauce complimented the meat well, enhancing the flavour while allowing the porky rib quality to shine through. I can't say enough about them. The chicken was as close to perfect as I have had. On its own, some might call it under spiced, but you can add that yourself. Personally, I like it just as Horn Dawgs makes it: a simple, very crispy, savoury coating with moist chicken inside. The white meat was really juicy and tasty! Pulled pork was great. Some nice, crispy, lightly charred bits to give some contrast to the moist pork meat. We have quite a bit left over, because everyone was all over the ribs and the chicken. My advice about the pork: ask for your sauces (of course I recommend the house sauce) on the side, so that, if you have left-overs, the sauce doesn't make them soggy. Just sauce each portion to your preference, just after preparing the portion. Our sides also lived up to the expectations set by the mains; smooth, creamy mashed potato, sweet and savoury cornbread; really stand-out baked beans, with a sweet but smoky flavour; fries that actually tasted like potatoes! To top it off, excellent service, easy parking and (for me) a convenient location. It is somewhat hidden behind a Thai food restaurant. It is just east of the Pickering Go station. Great Service and great food! If you are in the Pickering area and craving some BBQ, skip the big chain restaurants (abundant in Pickering) and head on over to Horn Dawgs! Support a local business and have some top notch food all at the same time! Righteous, and tasty! All they need to do is adopt a pup, feature his story, and then, Romeo, I will be your Juliet! P.S. A week or two later, I made some ribs myself and sauced them with the jar of sauce that i bought at Horn Dawgs. Perfect! I can see why this sauce has won awards.

(Take out) Impressions: all the positive reviews may be about the volume and price than delicacy. We ordered: # Crispy buffalo chicken sandwich (side: onion rings) $13: The chicken was supposed to be crispy, but it was not. Yes, it was take-out so that may be the factor. However, the chicken was drenched with sauce... the focus was volume (with onion rings) and sauce, rather than the texture. # Single dawg (Side: beans) $26.50: Came with 1/4 pound Beef Brisket and 1/4 pound pulled pork, drizzled with HD bbq sauce. And 3 bone St. Louis Ribs. Again, huge volume for the price. Abundant French fries. But the brisket texture was mediocre. Pulled pork was tender, but beef brisket and ribs were crunchy at the edges and inside was a bit dry. It came with 2 slider buns, regular small buns which were grocery store level. # Poutine (large, $9): Huge, but nothing special otherwise. The gravy did not taste natural, but good enough. As good as fast food chain. The fries are homestyle. I did not try their wings which are their most popular items with variety of flavors. May be I want to try them.
