Once the entrées finally arrived, we were mostly pleased with our selections: a 16 oz. ribeye, a 6 oz. filet mignon, and the pork chop. The steaks were cooked perfectly, tender, and full of flavor. The pork chop had good flavor but was a little dry and could have used more sauce. The sides were hit and miss. The pork belly mac and cheese was disappointing. The pork belly was extremely tough, and the noodles were so overcooked they had the consistency of mashed potatoes. The crispy Brussels sprouts also missed the mark, as they were more soggy than crispy. Dessert, however, brought things back on track. We ordered the butter cake, and it was absolutely incredible. Hands down, it's the only dessert I'll order here going forward. Overall, this restaurant was a mix of highs and lows, but there were definitely more highs than lows. The food showed a lot of promise, the service was friendly, and several dishes were outstanding. I will definitely be back. That said, the kitchen really needs to figure out its timing, because a 75-minute wait between courses is simply too long.
