Where in Utah is Lee today?! I couldn't make up my mind... Burger? Donut? Ice cream? Fortunately, I know a place where I don't have to choose... well, almost! Miller's no longer makes donuts or serves hand-dipped ice cream, but their burgers and thick milkshakes are still worth the ride. Just a short trip north on Highway 89 brought me to Miller's Drive-Thru in Manti. This place was BUSY! The parking lot was filled with local workers grabbing lunch, travelers passing through, and plenty of folks who obviously knew they were in for a great meal. Today's picks: Quarter-Pound Burger Strawberry Milkshake First bite? The burger was hot, fresh, juicy, and dressed just right. Simple, delicious, and exactly what I was hoping for. Then came the strawberry milkshake... thick, creamy, and so good you might need a spoon before you need a straw! Lee's Local Verdict: Worth stopping in Manti? Absolutely! Is there anything better than a great burger and a thick strawberry milkshake? Maybe... the motorcycle ride that gets you there. Stopped in as it was one of the only places in town. It was crowded and has a drive thru. The food is right out of a Sysco truck. My companion said the burger looked anemic. The fries are good. Service was slow for fast food. read more

We are visiting from Northern Utah. Every burger, chicken sandwich or fries have been amazing. We wanted to try a doughnut tonight but they didn't have any. The prices are high but the food and service make it well worth the bill. Our first visit, the power went out. It took a bit longer to get our food but they did a good job. It was very busy both times. If we ever come to Moroni again we sure will stop in. read more

Super popular place for lunch but if you're not in a hurry, definitely worth giving a try. Heads up, seating is also limited so be prepared to stand by for a table. Burger and fries are good and reasonably priced. Others were also eating a few different sandwich options that looked good. A fun addition to the restaurant is the donut counter which seems really brings in the customers. We tried an Apple fritter which did not disappoint. The ratio of apples to dough was on point! This is old school excellent. It's all Sysco, or similar, fixings, but they turn it into very good food. We went with the standards. A mushroom burger, mushroom bacon swiss burger, onion rings and fries. All were excellent. The patties and large and cooked well. They are cooked through, but not dry at all. The buns are solid. The add-ons very well done. I normally dislike the tomatoes, but these were good. Better than average pickles and onions. It created an excellent burger. Crisp nice rings and fries. Good fry sauce. After the meal, we got a strawberry shake that was well made and tasty. It's Utah style where you use a spoon to eat. It earns all it's kudos. The quality of the food is good! The accuracy, not so much. My family ordered two cheeseburgers, a hamburger, and a large order of fries (as reflected on the receipt). We received two hamburgers, a quarter pounder (which we paid extra for, unwittingly), and a small order of fries. read more

Apparently these guys are under new management and it's really beginning to show. Lets start with the biggest issue. The donut burger is a myth. It doesn't exist. I've come here 5 times since learning about it and have never, ever, been close to getting one. Yesterday I came in at 11 am...no sign of donuts. It's time to take down the sign for the $1.99 donut burger. The cashier said they hadn't even made donuts that day. The display case where the donuts usually are is impeccably clean, I don't think donuts have been in there for a while. Another issue, the food takes a really long time. Not a "this place is crowded and the food is fresh" expected time, a longer time than that. We were the only people inside the restaurant at 11 am. It took at least 15 minutes to get us our food after ordering. The food itself is okay, but nothing special. The fries and fry sauce are good. The burger is pretty bland. Well-documented: I'm a sucker for small-town burger joints. Well-documented: I'm a bakery fanatic. Newly-discovered: If you combine those two I will freak out on you. This is small-town burgerville, and I love it. In the thriving metropolis of Manti, Utah (population nearly 3,300) you've actually got a few dining options, but none like Miller's which houses both burgers and donuts. DONUTS. Unfortunately, I couldn't spend much time in here. The light parade was starting (you know, when Santa comes down the road on top of a fire engine and then everyone goes over to the high school for chili and treats from the Boy Scouts ad Girl Scouts) and I had to duck in and duck right out. But boy-howdy, it hit all the right buttons. What I didn't see was if the donuts and the burgers ever get combined. I've heard legend of other places doing burgers with donuts for buns. If they do it, lights out. I'm moving to Manti, taking up ranching, and eating one every night until I die. Which would probably be less than a week on a diet of donut burgers. They make pies (it was the day after Thanksgiving and they were clearing them out for 99 cents) and have a small seating area. Perfect for stopping by on the way through town, or to congregate with a merry band of local friends. Superb! read more

Very Good! The process for ordering is very slick, and similar to a McDonalds - Simple items with pictures and prices for you to select. I was presently surprised to see what actually came out versus the photos - It was MUCH MUCH better! Their burgers are great, but I gave 4, not 5 stars for their fries. They were similar to a McDonalds reheated, and not the fresh cut that I'd expect from a small local diner. read more

Love them! Be sure to ask for chocolate ice cream in your shake with extra goodies. Nice friendly staff mushrooms are the best.

Positives - fresh baked bread for your hamburgers, amazing doughnuts, fry sauce on tap. Negatives - takes way to long for your order, fries not cooked to consistent end result, orders made incorrectly and forgot a few item in our order. Overall a good place to stop in Manti. My wife and I stopped here on the way back from a camping trip, because you know...ice cream is essential after an outdoor adventure. Saw some good reviews for Miller's and decided to get some shakes. They were ok, but nothing to write home about. I got the grasshopper, and my wife got a raspberry caramel shake. Again, they weren't bad, but not really that satisfying either. We probably would not return unless we were driving through town, but even then, we may just wait until a stop later down the road. read more

Driving through town at breakfast time, we saw that this place had donuts. I had very low expectations, since I only know of 1 place in Utah with better than terrible donuts. I walk in, and they have no cake donuts, which lowers my expectations even more (all the best donut shops in my experience make cake donuts). The donuts look too fancy and gourmet to be any good. I was so wrong I can't even quantify it. The apple fritter was the best I've had, full stop. The glazed twist bar had the perfect texture, and tasted like heaven. Costumer service is great but we went in today with our service dog to get some food and they told us we had to wait outside for our food because we are not allowed to have our dog inside if you guys don't allow dog or service animals you guys need to have a sign us saying that cuz otherwise it's false advertising and you could get sued for that. read more

We were in town for a wedding and decided to stop in to Miller's for dinner, based on Yelp reviews (thanks, Yelpers!), and we were not disappointed! We had a very tasty meal and then a doughnut for dessert. When we realized how good the doughnuts were, we went back up to the counter and bought more for the next day's breakfast. We had the chicken wrap one day and it was wonderful. The fries were ok but we loved the tots. My husband had the burger and it was more like meat flavored paper... it was so thin you could hardly see it. The next day we tried the doughnuts and they didn't taste that great. They were almost like the frozen doughnuts they just fried and put a premade glaze on them... for the term bakery I would expect hand made treats. I am at a loss as to how this establishment is getting anything more than two stars. The burgers are subpar and poorly put together, the service is extremely slow, and there is little to no consistency where the food and service are concerned.
