If you've ever driven on I-15 through Santaquin, you've seen the big red barn and maybe noticed the orchards surrounding it. I finally made a point to stop for a visit and learned that it's much more than produce. Sure, you'll be able to get your fill of fresh apples or peaches, but they have ice cream and other goodies as well-think donuts, candy, jam, etc. It's a popular place that lots of families visit, so it can get a little busy in there. But if you're in the mood for some tasty ice cream or maybe some country hospitality, stop by!

This place is so fun! They have such good ice and you have to get an apple cider slush. Their apple cider donuts are also a must! You can also buy really yummy apple cider, jams, honeys and salsas. Their fall festival is one of my family's traditions!

Food- 4- star for variety, although it's expensive. The barn is stuffed with delicious breads, ice cream, fudge, jams, donuts, produce, and gifts. Unfortunately, there are only a 2 cashiers, so pack your patience. The line was SUPER long on the Saturday we went! Warning: Abigail breads are scrumptious but don't keep the jalapeño cheddar loaf next to the cinnamon roll sourdough; their smells crossed and ruined the cinnamon experience. Activities- 3 stars. We had toddlers and college kids in tow, and the concensus was that it's was NOT worth $16 entrance fee. A tractor pulls you to the fun area where you can shoot apples from cannons, slide, play in a corn sandbox, ride little bikes, 2 zip lines, climb on bales of hay, meet cute critters (the animal enclosure was a favorite), and go through a corn maze.

We just went for ice cream, which was awesome, but also checked out so many other fun and delicious things available to buy.

This place is great. Love the fresh options. It was very busy. The freshly made peanut butter is excellent. Love the cider ice cream drink.

Great place to get fresh fruit, homemade ice cream, and frozen pies. It also has great food gifts for a little remembrance.

Sometimes it can get busy since they have so much to offer but we go for the ice cream and fresh produce and it's always worth the wait!

They were kind enough to give me a little cup on the side. The peaches beginning of September were good although not super sweet. Be prepared to wait a little bit since there's usually a decent crowd. I love that they have a nice little patch of grass to relax on while you enjoy your sweet treat! Not sure when they officially close for the season, but worth looking into before stopping by.

My family and I heard about this place from an instagram post, so we made the trek out to see what…read moreall the fuss was about. When we got there, there had to be nearly 100 scattered around with a sizable line. We probably waited about 20 mins to get to the window and order. While we waited in line, I was really suprised to see that there were only 3 tables available for people to sit. I find this pretty wild with how many people were there and I was told this was a "slow" day. It was almost 95 degrees outside and we had our little kids with us, so sitting in the grass and roasting wasn't an option, all the spots on the edge of the cement pad in the shade were taken, and of course the 3 tables were taken. When we got our ice cream (we ordered the cherry, peach, and then the apple cider slush) we just had to find somewhere to stand awkwardly while we had to wait to pounce on and fight for a spot on the ground that would eventually open up. They have an indoor area, where it seems they sell the peaches and other fruit they produce by the box, but I didn't see one person in there trying to buy any, and even then there was most certainly still space in there for a few more tables in the shade. For a place that's so busy apparently, it seems they could take better care of their customers. All that said, back to the actual treats themselves. I personally had the cherry and would say it was just okay. The ice cream reminds me of the ice cream you would get at the Costco cafe, which isn't bad, but certainly not super exciting. The cherries were good, though I have no idea if they are cherries from their farm or from a cherry pie filling can at the store. I wish the cherries were more evenly mixed in the ice cream. There was about an inch of straight cherries in the bottom, and some on the top. Meaning the treat started nice, then I had to eat through a bunch of plain vanilla ice cream to be able to get to the rest of the good stuff. Once I did, the ice cream gets a lot better when you can mix the cherries and sauce around with it. I tried a few bites of my kids apple cider slush, and it's exactly what it sounds like. I found myself wishing I'd ordered one of these instead. I found it a lot more unique and refreshing than what I'd gotten.
