This is a fun little self service frozen yogurt shop. Great place for kids and good tasting yogurt. I would highly recommend.

I also love that they have some outdoor seating, which is really nice in the summer.

We typically stay somewhere near Spring City, so we get breakfast at Das Cafe. We arrived at 9 AM and while they had several customers, it wasn't as busy as we were afraid of. This was actually my third visit, and it continues to deliver. Unfortunately, they weren't seating outside this time (the outdoor dining area is a gem when they do), but the food was delicious. I ordered a Mormon Mocha, which was really good and my kids loved it too. It actually tasted more like cocoa than a coffee substitute. The Big Max was solid, but I definitely preferred my wife's German Sausage Breakfast, especially with that buttery crispy rye bread. She swapped me her brats for my ham, which worked out great. If you prefer ham over German sausage, it's worth asking if they'll accommodate that for the sandwich. One heads-up for parents: we asked if the animal pancakes were comparable in taste and portion to a short stack, since the cost would have been about the same for two kids. We were told they were, but my mom ordered the short stack and you definitely get more pancake, and we all agreed the texture was noticeably better. Stick with the short stack. And if you haven't tried the signature carrot cake, it's decadent enough for the whole table to enjoy a few bites. Prost!

The only negative, well, maybe two, was that they were out of the cucumber salad and the dill gravy has a horseradish kick that was not mentioned in the menu. Other than that, everything was amazing. DO NOT FORGET TO ORDER THE CARROT CAKE, thank me later.

Where in Utah is Lee today?!…read more I couldn't make up my mind... Burger? Donut? Ice cream? Fortunately, I know a place where I don't have to choose... well, almost! Miller's no longer makes donuts or serves hand-dipped ice cream, but their burgers and thick milkshakes are still worth the ride. Just a short trip north on Highway 89 brought me to Miller's Drive-Thru in Manti. This place was BUSY! The parking lot was filled with local workers grabbing lunch, travelers passing through, and plenty of folks who obviously knew they were in for a great meal. Today's picks: Quarter-Pound Burger Strawberry Milkshake First bite? The burger was hot, fresh, juicy, and dressed just right. Simple, delicious, and exactly what I was hoping for. Then came the strawberry milkshake... thick, creamy, and so good you might need a spoon before you need a straw! Lee's Local Verdict: Worth stopping in Manti? Absolutely! Is there anything better than a great burger and a thick strawberry milkshake? Maybe... the motorcycle ride that gets you there. Fast, friendly service, delicious food, and a full parking lot that tells you everything you need to know. If you're traveling Highway 89 through Manti, be sure to stop at Miller's Drive-Thru. I think you'll be glad you did! Now I'm curious... Where's your favorite place in Central Utah to grab a great burger or an amazing milkshake? Today's ride took me north on Highway 89, past Ephraim, with a side trip to Spring City. If you've never been there, it's one of Utah's hidden gems--friendly people, small-town charm, and an artsy vibe that's worth exploring. Some of the best places in Utah aren't on the interstate... they're just a few miles off Highway 89. Lunch stop? Roots 89 Grill. Today's picks: Malibu Chicken Sandwich New York Wild Berry Cheesecake ice cream First bite? The Malibu Chicken Sandwich was hot, fresh, juicy, and topped with their famous Bird Sauce. Now I'm curious... What do you think is in Bird Sauce? It was simple, delicious, and exactly what I was hoping for. Then came dessert... a scoop of New York Wild Berry Cheesecake ice cream that was the perfect finish to a hot summer ride. Lee's Local Verdict: Is Roots 89 Grill worth the side trip to Spring City? Absolutely. Fast, friendly service, delicious food, and full street parking that tells you everything you need to know. Hey this place is awesome. Great food, adequate portions, great service all at a very fair price…read more Our waitress kept my glass full and brought our food out promptly. The inside is nothing fancy but the seating is adequate and comfortable. The menu has a decent amount of variation so should be able to make anyone happy. I had the chicken tenders and they were really good. I am somewhat of an afficionado of the tender, and these were crispy, and flat, which is the best shape for a chicken tender. My wife had the Poboy and the shrimp were crispy, tender, and the bread was light, fluffy and a light, crispy crust. When we're back in Ephraim, we're coming here, so should you.
