However, I didn't ask, and if it was an option it wasn't offered, so we were served catfish baskets. When I asked for lemon for my catfish, someone went in the back and cut me an entire lemon and brought it to our table, how sweet! The fries were hand cut and salty, and the tator tots were crispy. The fried squash was the best thing on the table! However, the catfish were two tiny filets, and the tartar sauce was almost straight mayo. It was quiet and peaceful for an early Friday night. 3 STARS

Thought I found a top notch coffee spot in Justin until:…read more My wife and I always order our espresso beverages with half and half (breve), and are very accustomed to the flavor profile. We have had exceptional White Mochas, and Cappuccinos at Higher grounds, until recently. Something about the flavor of our drink was off, and reminded me of the flavor of (great value brand half and half), which is disgustingly gross, and cannot stand that stuff, as it makes me want to toss my cookies. The next time I ordered, I paid attention to the process, and sure enough, and to my unbelief, out came (great value brand half and half). I informed the barista, that I am not able to drink that, and I had to switch to something else, because I can't stomach that nasty half an half. I hope they discontinue this practice or I'll have to find another coffee place. To continue producing a quality product, you must use quality ingredients. To cut corners and use substandard ingredients, may save the owner a few bucks, but will cost them more in the long run, by losing customers.

They're technically like half a burrito, but somehow packed full. I don't know how they do it, but it's one of his favorite morning stops before school. The vibe is one of my favorite things about this place. It's quiet, quaint, and just feels good to be in. If you ever need a spot to get out of the house and work for a bit, this is a great option.
