Good bbq. Have enjoyed their food. Quick service. Nice selection of sides. Generous portions.

Good barbecue will definitely be back Definitely on my list of places to eat in Angleton

Order two chop sandwich. Got home and the bread was very fresh and good sauce. Sandwiches were cold and grease. No onions, no pickles etc.

Ordered FULL RACK of ribs dinner last night from this place when it was delivered from door dash I only got 4 ribs in a box tried calling them several times phone was never answered I finally contacted door dash which I have never done but for 30.00 for a rib dinner and only got 4 ribs as a full rack no thanks I would rather spend my money on a worthwhile meal bad enough all the extra charges and then to not even get enough to eat for me at only 140 lbs I got fuller on a double burger which mind you I ended up buying another food source so watch your orders from here! read more

Oh we love it here I just witnessed my son eat a slab of ribs by himself I definitely would recommend this place they are very nice too I wish I had a picture to post but my son didn't give me a chance to take a picture! We will come back soon! read more

Wild West BBQ is mediocre. It's more of a hit or miss. Most of the time I order to go and something is always missing. I can't figure out how you can sell BBQ and not include BBQ sauce with plates. BBQ baked potato with dry meat and no sauce? Peach cake for dessert and it's half frozen. Do not even waste time ordering red beans and rice because they never have it, but it's on the menu. Also, how do you cook BBQ? Is the BBQ pit inside? Not really impressed by the place. I love to support local business and I have given this place many, many, many tries and every single time, there is an issue. read more

We just finished one of the best pulled pork sandwiches we have had in Texas! The bun was perfect, the smoke on the meat and the texture made for an excellent sandwich. We bought a two ribs to try and we will both order the ribs next time.... Maybe split a sandwich and get a couple of ribs. Not sure how they do it but wow!!!! read more

Bought a half pound of chop beef at the drive-thru and after getting home knew that there was shortage on the amount that was given. Not only was it 2.5 ounces short but half of the beef was nothing but non eatable fat. Not spending top prices for subpar meat. read more

Wild West BBQ - Grisel & Fat 5.5 ounces - Barbeque Near Me - Angleton, Texas

Since Shipley Do-Nuts was closed, I saw this bbq restaurant was open, I believe it use to be a taco bell but what the heck, I'll give it a try. The staff spoke a little English and waiting for my food took a while but once I sat down and ate what I ordered which was pork ribs with a side of stuffed baked potato, it was worth the wait! The food was amazing. The bbq sauce had a good kick to it. One of the best bbq spots in Texas! Will definitely return. read more

Been here a few times and the food is great! The service is amazing, it's locally and family owned and you definitely feel like family when you walk in. The place is clean and welcoming, can't wait for our next meal here! read more

Great food, and a friendly staff!! I enjoyed the 2 meat plate which was ribs and brisket, and it was delicious! Will definitely be coming back. read more

Their whole menu is very good but for me it has to be their ribs. Best ribs in Texas hands down.

I ordered the 3 meat option and I swear the chicken was cut like someone has Parkinson's or Epilepsy. A real "fuck you" of a BBQ plate

This shi ass don't eat here dry ass ribs and brisket might as well be saltines I rather eat nothing at all

Best BBQ around, always go with grilled chicken baked potato, warning it's huge. I can usually make 2 meals out of it. Love the brisket sandwich, they'll trim the fat if you ask for it lean. Their chicken fried steak is another favorite of mine and comes with 2 sides. Their fries are different in a great way, spiral cut with a light seasoning. Really great family owned restaurant. read more

finger licking good! if you looking for dry bbq, this not it! smoked the right way extra moist! make sure u try out them ranch potatoes thou for your side read more

They are fast, friendly and the food is good and price is reasonable Every time I go there, they remember me. I have tried other BBQ places, most are ok, but the prices are way too high. And the workers don't seem happy. Here, these guys are always cheerful and ready to please. I use the drive thru once and awhile. They take good care of me there also... read more

Awful customer service. If you want a more pleasant experience just kick an ants nest or kiss a bee's nest.

The meat was dry and the sides were not bad but the Staff! What is that! The girl taking my order was so rude. Trust me! I'm sorry I bothered you also. It's not worth the aggravation. They charged me $50 to be rude to me. I will never go back. I will drive to Clute or Lake Jackson before I go back there. How does this place stay in business. read more

I am very disappointed in the food I picked up today. 2 lbs of smoked turkey that was no more cooked in a pit than I was. Seasoned but no smoking at all and in fact does not even taste like turkey! Not the first time I have purchased and no way the same as I have had from here. For over $12 a pound I expect better. Also got 2 of the 2 meat plates and nothing in these taste like grilled- smoked or anything close to it. Everything tastes baked in oven with a rub on it and that's it, no smoke flavor at all. Beans taste like Bushes from a can. I will not be returning to this place for sure. 48 bucks wasted! read more

Wild West BBQ - Terrible turkey. I am very disappointed in the food I picked up today. 2 lbs of smoked turkey that was no more cooked in a pit than I was. - Barbeque Near Me - Angleton, Texas

Tasty pulled pork sandwich, loved the sweet sauce on green beans, and delicious cold slaw. My husband had BBQ beef and said it had a great flavor also! read more

Wild West BBQ - Pulled pork sandwich, green beans and slaw. All were delicious! Especially loved the sweet onion/bacon sauce in green beans. - Barbeque Near Me - Angleton, Texas

The rudest staff you can find. Waste of time going for subpar food. I wouldn't attempt to even order on waitr, you will be degraded for some reason since they will call their customers lazy for ordering it??? read more

Will not come here again. If I wanted store bought brisket in a package and prepared in the oven I'd done it myself. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. The sides looked as if they had been sitting out all day. Hopefully I don't get good poisoning. Staff was ok. Could have been better. I asked if they had fried mushrooms and they acted as if they didn't want to fix them and it was the end of the world. I will be telling everyone. I was trying to leave no stars. Wouldn't work that way. read more

Love this bbq! The stuffed bake potatoes are great. I've been to a lot of places in b county and this one is one of my favorites!!

Food is normally good, however, consistently have problems when ordering kids meals through the drive thru. EVERYTIME, I ask for BBQ sauce, onions and pickles for the kids chopped beef sandwich (tonight I asked twice to make sure it was understood) and EVERYTIME, they are not included. I'm sure most kids would be fine with that but my grandkids want it with theirs even if charged extra. They tied the bag in a knot before handing it to me so would be difficult to check it in the drive thru. read more

it has been about a year since i last got bbq from the wild west in angleton. it was after they got their new sign up. i went thru the drive. they seemed not happy i was watching them thru the drive window. watching them in the kitchen thru the window. and a later i got a sinus infection. so i haven't been back since. read more

Just ok nothing bad or anything. I like the baked potato. Their sides are good. I will eat here when i am wanting quick and easy bbq. The sauce is not the best but it works read more

Stopped by here at the suggestion of my EMS partner and friend for a quick to-go bite on shift. He suggested the ribeye steak sandwich and he was right. It's the standard inexpensive ribeye steak for a sandwich cut, but the pleasant surprise was the bun. It's the same squared off bun with a slightly sweet taste that you find on a lot of burgers here in the Austin area. The fries are obviously homemade and tasty, but they're a very different thicker cut round fry, almost like the cottage fries mom made for me as a kid. I got a side of BBQ sauce and got the standard thin Houston area BBQ sauce. The staff was also friendly and quick, even making sure to find out how both of us wanted our sandwiches prepared. If you're familiar with the Goings BBQ chain in eastern Harris County, Wild West BBQ is familiar, especially with the steaks and burgers. After my visit, I went to their webpage and wasn't surprised to find that the owners had learned from working at Goings. I'll definitely be back to try some BBQ next time. read more

'Okay' but definitely overpriced BBQ served in a renovated former Taco Bell. Far from bad but not for me. They did a heck of a job on the inside of the restaurant. read more

My opinion is that the food is unfortunately a constant disappointment. I go to this place when I have forgotten how let down I am the last time. The ribeye in the steak sandwich I ordered had to be taken out from the bread and the edible portions picked out from the low quality cut of meat. The brisket nor the ribs have a smoky fatty quality that real Texas barbecue should have. The sides are very basic and bland including the potatoe salad. I know some might say haters gonna hate but, to them I say potatoes should potate. It's sad really that you have to drive all the way to Pearland or Freeport for good bbq. read more

Tonight will be my last time getting food from this restaurant. I have been 3 times and employees don't have their masks on when preparing food. I have commented to them multiple times. I kindly ask the girl at the window to have the one preparing my food to pull up her mask and I could tell she had an attitude and she gave me a rude comment as she handed me my food. I won't go back. read more

The food was pretty good. My husband and I were able to split the daily special and have just enough room for a small dessert. The value was pretty good. It was a very casual setting and not crowded or loud so it made for a relaxing meal. read more

Me and my boyfriend tried this place for the first time today. It was reasonably priced for the amount of food we received and it was yummy! The people working were very nice. I had the BBQ baked potato and it was perfect! They had a special for a 2 meat 2 side plate for $9.99 and my boyfriend ate it all. Next time we're in the Angleton area, I'm sure we will stop by! read more

I am one pissed off customer. Waited in drive tru for 7m Behind this guy , i first thought the guy was ordering an enormous order, so when i have realized the guy is just waiting too and god knows dor how long , i decided to go that other drive tru lane that was empty. I drow to that lane and insaid hello first 3 times there was no answer. Than the guy answered. I asked to get 3 sandwiches with ff no salt.. Second day of their opening but they are soooo slow with service. Got my chicken sandwich which was damn cold. Ordered ff but no ff in the bag Paid 17$ for grillrd chicken asiago jch delux and chicken sandwich. MNagement need real Managers for Real Training.. Servers need to be faster...! The pace in drive tru is slower than a turtle.. For a restaurant that just open it was very dissapointing.. They should have been on top of everything.!!!!!!!! And No, I won't be back til you get yourself real Managers who knows how to run an operations of a reataurant business.. Yeap Wendy , you wont be gettin my 17 $ dollars again.. Very sad.... read more

I do not know how this place stays open. I tried to order dinner last night through waitr. After I ordered my food and paid for it, the restaurant called me to let me know they were out of the items i ordered and tried to substitute my entire meal with other items I didn't want. I just found out that the restaurant should not have accepted my order. This is devious and underhanded practice that should not be allowed to continue. read more

Food was good and the the service was great. I had the pork rib dinner and the wife had a sliced beef sandwich. Sides were outstanding. We grabbed some peach cobbler to go. We were a little surprised later when we opened the cobbler and found it to be way undercooked. It was half liquid and the crust was raw. Would have given them 5 stars if it wasn't for the two cobblers we had to toss. read more
