Some items can be hit or miss but overall this is a great local spot. My personal favorites are the fried chicken sandwich and the turkey bacon ranch wrap. Haven't tried breakfast but their lunch/dinner portions are pretty good. Would recommend eating there or picking up and eating quickly. They're best fresh. read more

I ordered the chopped brisket sandwich. It was tough and couldn't chew it. Asked for another plate hoping they would correct it but alas no. Lady told me "it's the same very tough to chew". I mean what do say about that?! She didn't offer to give me my money back either. Husband ordered the picket bowl. First, this is NOT a bowl. See pic. The chicken was not fresh. It was just ok. Service was below par. They need to train their workers. No apology for the bad food, no return of my money since I couldn't eat the food. I mean it can't get any worse than that. They desperately need quality control, and for sure some kind of pride in what they are doing here at this restaurant. It's the worst I have ever seen! You knew it was Tuesday because the line was out the door the lunch hours until they were out of soup! When I saw this on the menu I thought, surely this isn't the soup, BUT IT IS!! And it's AMAZING!!! My husband had a Philly cheesesteak and liked it! He said "it's not as greasy as you would expect from a philly!" And said he would get it again! On Friday, August 9th, I came in shortly before close with a to-go order for two, including a large soup, quesadilla, and cheese curds. When I was placing the bag in my car, the soup fell out of the bag and the styrofoam container split on the pavement, spilling half. I went back into the restaurant with the soup and explained what had happened, and said I did not expect a replacement soup, but could I please have another container so that I could get the remainder home. I was told yes, then after a few minutes heard arguing coming from the kitchen. The host came back out and apologized, and said that as she was getting me a new soup, her manager stepped in and said I must pay for it... then she said she was sorry again, but she had already thrown the rest of mine out. So my options were to pay for another soup, (which was not cheap at $10.82), or go hungry since that was my dinner. The manager didn't even have the nerve to tell me herself. I tipped 20% on the replacement soup, because I felt bad for the poor host being forced to tell me the bad news. But due to lack of customer service and horrendous management, it is unlikely I will be back. read more

I will NEVER return to this restaurant. This small spinach salad was $7!!!!! That is a ripoff. There isn't even an entire egg, just half. A handful of spinach, sprinkle of cheese and bacon bits. So this was our first time ordering from Picket Fence Too and it was so awful we will never order from there again. We ordered online to pick up and were able to type in specific directions like "dressing on the side" for our 2 wraps but still my daughter's wrap was coated with dressing. We ordered a burger meal which was supposed to come with fries and a drink but there were no fries and no drink. Instead there were 2 ziplock baggies of ruffles crumbs. The meat in the burger was still extremely red so it wasn't cooked all the way and the bun was so soggy it was dough like. We also ordered 2 Neiman Marcus cakes which were also left out of the order. We paid over 40$ for this meal and half of it was left out and the other half was raw. When we called to speak to a manager at 2 pm there was no manager there to speak to. read more

After the freeze & down power & water fiasco, we decided to go out of our way to patronize some local businesses, esp since the last year has been such a financial hit. We had gyros, his with fries & mine w Tex-Mex coleslaw. They were so good that he asked me to get him another gyro THE VERY NEXT DAY. He had to eat my coleslaw, since I'm new to Texas & still working on even jalapeño tolerance. I asked for a side of mashed potatoes and I did not get them (went thru the drive thru) so I went back and they couldn't figure it out bc the receipt only shows the amount paid and not an itemized bill. If I could give this place no stars I would. I have eaten here several times as there are limited choices for food in angleton. The last three times have been a disaster. I ordered soup to go and it came to me in a paper container with a lid that didn't fit and they placed it in a paper bag. The soup was poured in the container badly and it soaked through the palate bag so that when I picked it up, it the bottom came out of the bag and my soup was not only all over my leather car seats but on my shoes as well. If it wasn't bad enough that our waitress messed up all four orders I so also found A HAIR IN MY CESEAR SALAD!!
