Bummer because yall are convenient right there on Los Angeles Ave. Everything in Simi Valley that makes it Simi Valley seems to revolve around L A Avenue. Buyer beware: they have a very restrictive 48 hour return policy. Your purchase even if broken must be unused (explain how you test it without using it???) and it's only for store credit to be used immediately. Bad purchase is 100% my fault for not reading more carefully. But if you're buying anything over a few dollars you might consider looking elsewhere. We always try to shop local and be good local consumers, but that kind of policy just makes it too hard to go back. Buy at your own risk. If i could give this store 0 stars i would. I went to this location back in 2020, And I have not been back since because of a certain employee that works there, Seth. (also claims to be the regional manager, if he is thats really embarrassing for yall) Anyways, when I went to this location in 2020 I had gone a couple times and both times the gentleman by the name of Seth was working, one of those times the store was empty, and I was the only one browsing stuff, this gentleman was extremely snappy, condescending and rude. there's a large selection of products to choose from and this man became irate after about the third question. on the second visit that I had in 2020 the gentleman named Seth was also working and telling people he was a regional manager. It also happened to be a day they were doing interviews i guess for Wildside hiring. While I was there, I overheard this gentleman talking to a coworker, and also potential new hires, making extremely sexist comments, degrading women, and making comments about cleavage and women being stupid. And again, I had several questions that day, and he snapped at me again. I would say if this gentleman, Seth, is working do not come to this location or any location he's at. He makes this company look like a joke. So imagine my surprise when I go into this location for the first time in four years, a couple days ago, and this man is still employed with the company so clearly this company doesn't care about sexual harassment or sexism or customer service. DO NOT SHOP HERE theres like 50 other smoke shops in simi to go to and they are going to be 10 times more friendly. Even at the most rinky dink sketchy smoke shops ive been to ive received better customer service than that asshole. read more

I forgot I wrote the below review over a year ago and then yesterday happened. And I see I never submitted it. Silly me. This is my new review followed by my old. It is not a matter of money, it's a $6 item. That particular $6 item I've been purchasing two every week for months. Yesterday I went back for the same item. Same blond who i assume is in charge because she certainly takes privileges only an owner would take helped me. I said same jokes asked for same item. Yet this time I asked for the tray of them. I noticed some had a price of $11, others $6. I pulled out 2 of the six and commented that inflation hasn't gone up 95% and pulled out 2 with $6 price. Showed her the prices. This young lady literally took the Items out of my hand and told me she was not going to sell them to me for that much because it was a mistake. I asked her why it wasn't mistake every week for the past few months when she sold them to me. She was nasty and cold, flat out was not even going to entertain the idea of giving me the items that they were priced at that I have been purchasing from them for months. I'm not going over how many levels this was wrong on. I am a marketing and customer relations professional. On so many levels on so many reasons it was so wrong. Then she barked rudely to the young lady who is obviously new working there and ordered her to separate them immediately and fix the pricing. Unfortunately for the smoke shop, the people in charge are the only ones who don't realize how bad this business practices. Please tell that little girl to get off of her high horse, and learn customer service. She may feel like a big bad boss inside of that shop, but in the shop I'm the customer. And I'm the boss. Lesson learned. Now I really am not going back. A year ago: Two separate times, I purchased DEFECTIVE product and returned the next day to exchange. Both times I was told NO. but they'll give me a 15% discount on another. I've purchased hundreds of dollars worth of items at this shop over the past several months, but no more. PLUS, the last time I was there, I purchased a glass banger and was told it's ready when the beads inside turned blue. So I tried it and waited for the white beads to turn blue. Stopped by and picked up a glass bowl, lighter and a beaker bong. One of the employees asked what I was looking for, I gave him a quick rundown and he recommended the Diamond Glass due to it's durability. When I got home I took the bowl/downstem out, cleaned it with water and, when I was sliding it back it the stem broke in half. Took it back and they were very accommodating in resolving the issue to get me taken care of. The owner happened to call when I was in the shop, he explained how things would be resolved to me and the guy behind the counter..... Walked out 5 minutes later with everything taken care of. I've walked in several times to try and fix a vape or get assistance and have never gotten any real help. Just suggestions to buy their products. I had an eleaf istick pico battery with a sai top airflow atomizer. I modded the battery with a design change (white fox). the at the register told me that it was a problem with the coil and at the time I had no clue I could just order new coils and I'd be go to go. he then said the mod messed up the vape. then he told me to buy their apx volt which has a lifetime warranty. so I wasn't happy when I found out it was only a year because the vape itself is absolute trash to what I previously had. The fact that false information caused me to buy more useless stuff is ridiculous. I've boughten a seshgear 510 battery hear as well and when I brought it back to show that my cartridge blew up glass all over my hand, they blamed it on the cartridge and sold me a different style battery where I can actually unscrew the cartridge without it searing glass into my fingers. Don't understand why customers just can't receive good advice so they make a one time purchase and stay loyal to the business. I threw away 100$ since the humboldt vape "wasn't working" and 90$ for the APX Volt. The seshgear was pocket change. The money doesn't matter but having well informed employees that know what products they're selling does. And if they don't ha knowledge about the product, just tell me look it up on google! No need to say false info and bad advice that is just gonna waste time and money. Edit:I have the names of both employees and a couple other receipts. I came in to do a little bit of shopping. It had been awhile for me, so I didn't really know about the new gadgets and tricks, but the two gentlemen helping me were so kind, patient and helpful. They have some really unique and beautiful things in here too. Great customer service from these two dudes, I unfortunately did not get names. One guy had a beard, the other seemed like he was shadowing him or in training but he was excellent too! They have a great range of choices for whatever your budget may be an don't make you feel bad if you turn down a suggestion of theirs. I definitely take a while to make a decision, but these guys are so chill and let you handle before you buy and don't pressure you into making a choice you might not be happy with. The vibe in this shop is just so friendly and chill. Even ringing up at the register and being thanked for coming in and waved goodbye to as I walked out the door made me feel so welcomed and like they truly appreciated my business even if I'm not a 'spendy' customer. Tino and Garvin were super helpful and friendly! They helped my wife and I find the right piece. They were more than patient with my wife letting her try whatever she wanted.
