It is a decent neighborhood park with a playground, pavilion, and a basketball court with lights. A big field fills the park's center, allowing various field sports. Note that there is no fencing along the perimeter of the park.
The basketball court received a new coat of paint, and the court lines were redrawn. Previously, it was just black asphalt, but now it offers the opportunity for team play, especially with the stadium lights that light up during the evening. Lights do turn off automatically at 10pm.
The playground is a good size, with various climbing walls and two slides. Fresh mulch was laid down a few months ago, softening the impact during play.
The pavilion has four picnic tables and an outdoor grill. A sign from Cedar Park Park and Recreation outlines the rules for use.
It is possible to walk your dog along the perimeter of the park by walking on the sidewalk on two sides and on the grass on the other two sides. A pet waste bag station stands to the side with a large trash can to dispose of pet waste. read more
