This park sits at the corner of Briarwick Drive and Amberglen Boulevard in the Amber Oaks subdivision. It occupies the space of about two single-family homes, and is absolutely chocked full of live oaks and cedar trees. It has a nice paved path that runs throughout the property with three picnic tables, and two wooden swings. Directly next to the park is a large area of uncleared wooded area that I can only assume will be developed at some point, especially due to the very close proximity of 620 and the tollway. Behind the wooded area is a very large building resembling a campus with hundreds of parking spaces, however, it is gated private property, and there was no sign denoting its identification. Directly across the street is office space, and on the Amberglen side are single family homes, and apartments. This park seems to best serve the local residents and office workers across the street who just want to get away from the house or office for a while. read more
