They have have a couple of swing sets here as well. The bathrooms are also dealing well kept. I definitely recommend this park for your kids and running or walking your pets. It's not the best park if you want to have a large gathering and barbecue. There aren't any barbecue pits or covered area for large groups to sit and eat. There's plenty of parking. Definitely check out this park if you're in the neighborhood!

Learned that the sprinklers were off around 7:45 pm and not 10 like website indicated . Maybe it is only for the Summer? Anyway, I'm impressed! Looks new! Accessible! Large climbing structure to left and splash pad to the right. 3 shaded gazebo's, with double tables and grills (covered so not in use). The shower and water fountains work. And this place seems like a wonderful place to have an outdoor birthday with cooking splashing options. Splash pad and playground are Birthday girl approved!

My nephew was extremely excited!!I noticed that everything was thoroughly thought out. The entrance gate is slightly heavy (two to pass through. Other area were the same (heavy gates to prevent kids from entering the paved areas without permission & help. There were several areas to play: sensory areas, sand box (large), agility, strength training for the littles, and a cute township area where kids can ride (provided mini bikes) bikes or scooters in the "city". The imagination stations were adorable. Most areas were covered well. They had several restrooms and water stations. Seating for birthdays and such. I didn't have time to take pictures. But it's true to the website. I highly recommend it!

There was a lot of thought put into this park. They have wonderful learning areas such as they have an area all about music; This was definitely a favorite place. There are chimes to sound and drums to play, The children really enjoyed this area. They had a zip line made for children. My four-year-old granddaughter was enjoying it and after her, some 13-year-olds were enjoying it. It's very well-made, very safe and very fun. They have a shopping area for them to pretend -- along with their own personal H-E-B! My granddaughter really enjoyed pretending to shop. I think that's a secret word here, there's a lot of pretending going on here! I highly recommend this park. It's important to know that animals are not allowed unless it's a service animal. There's a lot of kids running and yelling and playing and laughing. This is not the place for you if you're going to a park to read a book. This is definitely a great place for children or for parents to play with their children. I highly recommend you visit.

This is a decent sized park that has a lot going for it. Here you will also find some fairly clean and decent public restrooms and there is a gravel trail around the perimeter which leads to other trails in the area. Next to the pool, you'll find a very nice basketball court and on the opposite side you'll find the Heritage House Museum. This park has very ample parking with numerous handicap spots. Currently, it should be mentioned that from 3 to 6 PM on Tuesdays, you'll find a small farmers market gathered in the red barn at the rear of the park. One odd item that is also at the rear of the park is a very large old piece of farming equipment rusting into the ground. Plenty of photos included to add more insight.

It includes a smaller one playscape (toddlers) and one for the somewhat bigger kids (4-12). It has mulch on the ground, and is bordered with a cement lining to contain the mulch, is my guess. It's so thoughtful to find 1 special swing amongst 3 other plain swings, one that you can safely secure and have the child experience swinging also. Not one for the very littles, but one with a disability. I believe it says for 5-12 years old. Close to the smaller playscape is a xylophone, and we were pleased with a play by a random biker who stopped there to play. On Settlers Valley, I see people park their car along the road by the mailboxes. And there is a little path that leads to the playground, but then it ends there. You'll have to go around the grass, or cross the mulch in order to enter the trail that is in the back and goes around the neighborhood. I've biked that trail and it's a cute well-maintained trail. It's not our neighborhood, but I'm glad to find this close to home.

This is probably the only park where I have seen four musical instruments integrated into the playscape. I was surprised to find they have a very rich sound. The only thing lacking besides a pool, is the fact that there are no public bathrooms at either park or along the trail. Definitely a great spot to bring the kids or take a hike or bike ride.

Had no issue snagging street parking nearby.

This event was held in the parking lot of the park and tons of people showed up. In one of the buildings nearby, there was an area set up for free photos, complete with a professional photographer. Good playground equipment that includes a playscape for younger toddlers. No canopy though so scorching on a hot day. That being said, there are shady areas in the park (saw a few families having picnics). The adjacent creek is nice. There's a little trail alongside it. Turn left (from playground) and you can see the famous Round Rock (just under the bridge). Turn right and you pass a war memorial and soon make it to the spiral (a spiral walking ramp that apparently offers nice views of the creek). It was super hot so we skipped the spiral. The thing that bothered me about this park -- there are lots of blank rusted signs. Were they ever in use or were they never completed? I was just confused by their presence. On top of that, I would have liked to see some actual signs. There were a few by the entrance of the park noting the location of the Round Rock, spiral, etc. But if entering the trail from the playground, you don't see any of this info. There's no sign by the Round Rock about its history and no sign by the tree sculpture by the spiral (at least credit the artist). Large parking area.

I don't want to upload pics due to children are present but please go check it out because you won't be disappointed. The main stage is nice and there is a pavilion for you to just sit and enjoy the atmosphere while reading a book or just taking a moment to chill. I always enjoy coming here to cycle or walk but really appreciate the playground upgrade for the children.
