There is also a local community center that sits on the corner of the park. There is a pool also, but it looked in poor shape. There is plenty of green acreage to run around in and the Bull Ranch Creek runs down the middle of it. There's also enough room for about 10 or so cars to park in the gravel lot.

It is an elongated circular crushed gravel path that is perhaps a quarter-mile in length. There is another addition to the park that is on the other side of Indian Mound Rd. It is a circular trail around the pond and there's even a ceremonial fire pit. Usually around three to 4 o'clock the park is utterly inundated by kids getting out of the school next to it. This park has no play scape and only has one or two benches. It is basically just a nice green space cut into an otherwise urban area to balance out all the building.

Park Central park is a little strip of land nestled between 24 Hour Fitness and office buildings…read more It's a beautiful strip--there are trees, rock landscapes, a pond, many benches, and a 0.5-mile crushed gravel trail around the perimeter. A lot of bluejays live here. There are also a few dumped ducks living out a lonely existence. However, it seems like a safe place for ducks since there's no fishing and no dogs around. I deducted a star because there is trash in the lake (beer cans, styrofoam food containers, plastic, etc...).

Nice area for younger kids (with canopy). A fun carousel to spin in. See saw. A spinning pod. Tandem swings and harness swings. The best part is the three zip lines. My kids loved them. Lake is nice to have nearby and you can easily add a short walk to your playground outing. Not much shade here so plan accordingly! Lots of parking.

We took our littles…read morefishing here for the first time and loved the large, spacious pier-- we brought our whole setup: chairs, umbrella and wagon, and still left plenty of room for other fishing families. We loved that the pier was far and secluded enough from the playscapes so it wouldn't distract our littles, and the kids at play wouldn't disturb the fish* ;). The playscapes were covered and nicely spread out with many fun play zones and structures (including two zip lines). The park has well-kept grassy spaces, walkways and restrooms, and you can even rent kayaks and pavilions with tables for parties. We had the best time and can't wait to return! I would highly recommend this park for your next family fun day or gathering. *We didn't see or catch any fish.

Newest park in Cedar Park in the wonderful Bell District! This park just opened this week with…read morelimited amenities. The city is still working on park expansion, including a paved trail that takes you through the forest. This park is different from other parks in the area due to its close proximity next to the new Cedar Park library and the varied landscape. Much of the grass and forest is roped off to allow for proper time for growth and keeping nature natural. There are outdoor restrooms though they were closed when I went. They also have water fountains, a pavilion, and many picnic tables to study, eat, or just enjoy a conversation. Not much road noise can be heard from Bell Blvd, if any. The park is located adjacent to parking and the library so expect some noise. Parking looks to be very limited as street parking is offered. No immediate parking lots could be seen at time of writing. The trail extends from a sidewalk entrance on Bell Blvd and winds through the Bell District, linking up with Bell Park as it continues on into the forest. Many pet waste stations line the trail. As mentioned, the grass and trees are still establishing so the green areas of the park can't be used at the moment. But the barebones of what this park has now promises an eventful gathering space for generations to come. I can't wait for the future developments to come for this park!

Immediately next to the Park sits several acres of green space with a gravel trail that runs around the entire perimeter which appears to be about a half mile or more in length. The park itself is surrounded on three sides by residential homes and some local businesses directly across the street. However, there are no public bathrooms at this location. Definitely a nice place to take a leisurely walk.

My friend and I started to walk along the trail around Lady Bird Lake. If you are a people watcher like me, walking around Lady Bird Lake is very entertaining. You can see just about a little of everything...walkers, runners, dog walkers, etc. Then there is the more exotic citing...cap with ears, tutus, different colored hair, costumes, etc. to name a few. The she reach Lou Neff Point she causes you slow down and pause. Interestingly, Lou Neff has a street at Zilker Park named after her. Her full name was Barbara Louise "Lou" Neff, and she was a well known civic leader in Austin. Lou worked closely with Lady Bird Johnson on the Town Lake Beautification Committee. She was also active in community organizations like the Austin Junior League.

Running down the center of this narrow park is a 7 foot wide paved pathway. Along the entire length of the park are residential homes, but what is interesting is that their driveways are located behind the homes not in front. Parking is allowed along the length of the park, but you will see several no parking signs in certain areas. This is a very well manicured stretch of land with numerous gardens along the way as well as shade trees. It's a perfect place for a morning jog or bike ride for all the local residents who live next to it.
