The trail is nice and paved, the playground looks pretty expansive, and the absolute views and nature on display here makes me feel very lucky to witness it. This neighborhood park in Round Rock is beautiful. After major renovations and connections to trails, the park was reopened in 2024. It still has that "new feeling" to it. The grounds are well-maintained and landscaped. There are paved trails that run along Brushy Creek where folks fish, feed the ducks, and relax along the water if not hiking or walking. It's dog-friendly with poo stations throughout. Dogs must be leashed. Water fountains throughout. The baseball field is state-of-the art. There's a modern playground for kids. Picnic areas with tables and grills. Veterans memorial onsite. Ducks and squirrels all around. In fact, a squirrel climbed the netted parameter around the ball field to watch us. I posted a lot of pics-that's a cute one to check out. The 14-acre park is surrounded by trees. In the middle of Bushy Creek is a large round rock for which the town was named. Next to the ball park is a spiral ramp connecting the upper and lower sections of the Heritage Trail West (which runs through the park). You can walk up it or bike for amazing views once at the top. Such a serene park. The play area is well constructed. There a small smedium and large play area. Big and little kids have somewhere safe to play. The small grassy area beside the sitting area is a dream. Most parks don't have an area where people can sit and enjoy a meal. Then you add the walking trail. This is a top tier park for all things out door entertainment. read more

A nice park tucked away in downtown RoundRock. The memorial sign is a great place to take pictures. There are historical markers/artifacts at the front of the park. There's a playoground for kids, a small dam nearby. There's a beautiful view of the river. They have a couple of walking trails which is nice. There are a lot of benches to sit and trees. I recommend coming here if you get the chance. The park is small but has beautiful scenery, especially with the ducks in the river. read more

This is a small park that is just up the river from The Round Rock itself and I love walking here because it's so calm and peaceful. They are doing some work on the sidewalks and pathways at the moment but you can still make your way down the stream and crossover on a small cement walkway. I really like it here. It's great for a lazy day wandering. read more

I like come to this park, because it's pretty peaceful. The playground is a bit outdated, but kids have fun on it. There is a creek where I have seen people fish in it or even kayak. There are some cute ducks! The park has plenty of trees for shade and picnic tables to enjoy your meal. Pretty peaceful place. It does flood easily on the road when it rains a lot. So heads up if you try to access this park from Summit St since you will have to go around if the road is closed. read more

This park is a hidden cute one in downtown round rock. It has big trees and picnic table perfect for the hot summer. We walked around and sat in the shade enjoying the birds and the water view. I though it had a playground bug I didn't see any. read more

Love this park, though when it's been raining the roads can close do to flooding. Threre is a nice playground, picnic tables with grills and concrete trails around the river. Also, if you are a Pokemon Go player, this is a good place to play. read more

We visited this park because it looked inviting, we were riding around just looking at the sites. You can walk along the creek, feed the ducks, view the rock this town is named for, and discover a memorial to submariners and one Vietnam hero. Pretty awesome. read more

We noticed it off to the side of I-35. Had a heck of a time trying to locate it as there is no turn in from the frontage road. You have to navigate a bit through the side streets of RR to find it. It's a beautiful park. Lots of trees and shade next to the Chisholm water trail. Seemed like a great place to walk a dog or go for a stroll. Picnics benches were available. In my opinion, it's not great for the two and under set. We did a lot of chasing of kids because there is so much room to run....right toward the water. Keep an eye on your climbers because straight up from the playscape is the I-35 frontage road. read more

Great park on the water near downtown / Main Street round rock! Very little noise from the highway, but close to la frontera to do some shopping after playground time for my son. Wear the kid out then go shopping, lol. That's what I would recommend this park for. Also it was mostly empty on a Wednesday at 4:30. I like a nice chill park sometimes. Amazing little spot tucked away in round rock. It's a walk that is shorter than most trails but once you get to the end, the river is shallow enough to jump all and around in. It's perfect for the dog! read more

Great little hidden gem of a park. Plenty of playground features for the kids and walking paths near the water. Restrooms were ok but in need of a makeover. And there were plenty of tables fully covered by the shade. read more

This was such a fun little area to walk around and explore. There are so many signs describing historical significance. The Round Rock can also be found here. It's the actual landmark that the town was named after. It's literally just a rock that is round but it has historical significance. If you want to go fishing, walking, or just sit outside somewhere nice, then this park is perfect. read more
