this is a beautiful park along the walking pathway by the river. cool to checkout from that path.

    Beautiful view of the river

A nice park tucked away in downtown RoundRock. The memorial sign is a great place to take pictures. There are historical markers/artifacts at the front of the park. There's a playoground for kids, a small dam nearby. There's a beautiful view of the river. They have a couple of walking trails which is nice. There are a lot of benches to sit and trees. I recommend coming here if you get the chance. The park is small but has beautiful scenery, especially with the ducks in the river.

This is a small park that is just up the river from The Round Rock itself and I love walking here because it's so calm and peaceful. They are doing some work on the sidewalks and pathways at the moment but you can still make your way down the stream and crossover on a small cement walkway. I really like it here. It's great for a lazy day wandering.

I like come to this park, because it's pretty peaceful. The playground is a bit outdated, but kids have fun on it. There is a creek where I have seen people fish in it or even kayak. There are some cute ducks! The park has plenty of trees for shade and picnic tables to enjoy your meal. Pretty peaceful place. It does flood easily on the road when it rains a lot. So heads up if you try to access this park from Summit St since you will have to go around if the road is closed.

This park is a hidden cute one in downtown round rock. It has big trees and picnic table perfect for the hot summer. We walked around and sat in the shade enjoying the birds and the water view. I though it had a playground bug I didn't see any.

Love this park, though when it's been raining the roads can close do to flooding. Threre is a nice playground, picnic tables with grills and concrete trails around the river. Also, if you are a Pokemon Go player, this is a good place to play.

We visited this park because it looked inviting, we were riding around just looking at the sites. You can walk along the creek, feed the ducks, view the rock this town is named for, and discover a memorial to submariners and one Vietnam hero. Pretty awesome.

We noticed it off to the side of I-35. Had a heck of a time trying to locate it as there is no turn in from the frontage road. You have to navigate a bit through the side streets of RR to find it. It's a beautiful park. Lots of trees and shade next to the Chisholm water trail. Seemed like a great place to walk a dog or go for a stroll. Picnics benches were available. In my opinion, it's not great for the two and under set. We did a lot of chasing of kids because there is so much room to run....right toward the water. Keep an eye on your climbers because straight up from the playscape is the I-35 frontage road.

Cute place to grill out & relax! Water is shallow enough to wade in. Lots of shade, a kids playscape, fishing. Very pretty too.

Great park on the water near downtown / Main Street round rock! Very little noise from the highway, but close to la frontera to do some shopping after playground time for my son. Wear the kid out then go shopping, lol. That's what I would recommend this park for. Also it was mostly empty on a Wednesday at 4:30. I like a nice chill park sometimes. Great walking trails around the river too!

This was a great place to come and enjoy and relax. Even with the street above it doesn't affect it at all. Gives it a waves crashing sound. Love it!

Not as cool as it seems. More of a walking/hiking trail than an actual memorial park. Lots of construction going on as well!

After decades of development it's getting harder to get to the lake free. I came here today to hike down to the lake which has gone from an almost all time low to almost full in a matter of weeks due to recent flooding.

Yay, a "new" place to get in the water. I'm always looking for somewhere new to go cool off in the…read morewater. A friend told me about this little park, so I headed out there. Let's start with the cons: it's seriously off the beaten path- there's nothing out there. Bring everything you need- water, food, sunscreen etc. Secondly, there is literally no beach- just rocks, lots of rocks. Lastly, it is not dog, kid, or "out of shape" friendly. You have to climb around and over all those rocks to get to the water. (Oh, and there is a fee per person, if there's someone on duty). Now the pros- it is seriously off the beaten path, which means there's parking and very few people. Secondly, the water is clear and beautiful as are the views. It is near a marina, so boaters give nice waves every so often. Lastly, I loved sitting in my float just listening to the water hit the rocky shore. Very peaceful. I enjoyed it, but it's not for everyone. Let me know if you go- enjoy!

You can also walk on the unpaved trail along the water (it's very smooth and stroller-friendly). There is a playground. It's split into two areas for different ages. It's great in theory but I found it a bit lacking. There's a rudimentary playground that's labeled as 2-5. And a crunk playground (3-tiered, with gnarly slides) labeled as 5-12. Don't get me wrong -- this big playground is awesome for older kids. But it's a bit too advanced/scary for a 3-year-old. Meanwhile, the little playground was too simple/easy for her. So there's a middle age that isn't really catered to. But, great for 2-year-olds and 5+. There are also multiple parks with playgrounds within a short driving distance (Champion, Olson Meadows) so you can easily park hop.

I love taking walks with my daughters along the lake, admiring the views and enjoying the wildlife. If you're adventurous you can rent a canoe or kayak from the boathouse and take it out onto the lake as well. This park is a beautiful place to spend time on a weekend!

Cedar Park, this is a joke. So many safety risks and completely inefficient kayakers.
