I am SO thankful I found this swimming pool…read more There are two pools at this place. The larger one has swimming lanes, 2 low dives, 1 high dive, water-basketball, wade out area, etc. The smaller one is PERFECT for kids. It's probably no more than 1.5-2 feet deep, but has sprayers/fountains everywhere, a jungle gym in the middle of the pool with a slide, whale statues to sit on, etc. I saw kids from 2-12 in there having a blast! Not a swimmer? Not a problem! There are shaded areas to sit at if you just want to watch the others swim. I saw plenty of people sitting back with a book or laying out to get a tan. The prices are only $3 for youth (under 18) and $5 for adults. You can bring your own food and bev and spend the day in the sun, but cooling off! My husband and I just moved into a house in the Anderson Mill Mud district and out of our awesome apartment. Living in a house is awesome, but man.... how I missed the pools at the apartment complex, especially with well over a month of 3-digit tempteratures. But with this pool and it's appeal for all ages, I'm not missing that apartment complex anymore! I will definitely become a regular!

The pool is always staffed with lifeguards. It is always clean and very reasonably priced. My…read morekids love swimming here. It has a lap pool, swimming area and a fun kiddy pool. Wow. Simply amazing. I mean....I have never...ever...in my life seen a firework show with 4…read moreFOUR...yes FOUR finales.... Incredible. The fireworks show alone was worth the entire trip and wait. It was far better than the 4th of July. In fact it was so good I can't even imagine what the 4th of July for Cedar Park has in store for fireworks. And I'm going to guess that what they've done in the past has been great. Okay, so they had live music all night long. They had carnival game. They had carnival rides. Balloon pops frog toss. The bag slide. The spinner ride. 3 free bounce houses. The hamster ball. Also known as zorb balls. Mechanical bull. Wipeout. Rock wall climbing. Bungee bouncing. Roasted corn. Hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, pickles, funnel cakes. Snow cones, water, soda, tea. A gymnastics show. And a firework show that pretty much just beat all. Everything was almost reasonably priced. It can get pricey with more than one child. Especially if a family of four is wanting to do each event. It's worth doing a couple but for the type of events I don't like forking over too much cash for that. The crowd was more than pleasant. The lines were not long. Everybody was a pleasure to be around. All the staff and volunteers were all very friendly and sweet. Justin nice atmosphere all the way around. The festival lasted from 5 p.m. To 8:30 p.m.. The firework show start promptly at 830. It lasted until 8 53. 23 minutes of absolutely astonishing fireworks. Let's not forget about the kickass park they have. With a multitude of climbing pieces. A slide that will knock you on your butt. And a swimming pool what the water playground for the kids and a slide for bigger kids and adults. My family and I had the time of our life out there today. We got there around 1:30 p.m. And we stayed until 9 p.m.. It was a blast. The firework show im still talking about it. It was just really great. I can't wait till next year. This will be an annual event for us. I wish we had been the last 5 years. But I'm grateful I found out about it and we got to go get here. And I'm very much looking forward to next year.

This is a lovely park in the middle of the Buttercup Creek subdivision. The park isn't large but…read morefeatures a pool (open only during the summer), playgrounds, outdoor fitness equipment, and old-growth trees. I often walk through this park with my dog as there are two pet waste stations, offering convenience on both ends of the park. During the weekends, more families bring their kids to the playgrounds, but the park is more or less empty during the week. Buttercup Creek Park also features two tennis courts with lights. You must purchase a key from Cedar Park Parks & Recreation. The courts are well-maintained and open on a first-come, first-served basis. The pool is open to the public during the summer, but check the Cedar Park Recreation website for current hours. There is also ample parking available. I took off one star because the park itself is tiny. Though it packs a ton of amenities, one could walk from one end to the other in 1-2 minutes. Overall, Buttercup Creek Park is a great place to visit.

Not sure to call it a park or a pool but more like a community swimming pool with a small…read moreplayground nearby? Anyways this pool location is great! It's simple and straight to the point. It is a large pool with a shallow and deep end with a diving board. There is also a ramp that you can walk in slowly with your babies or handicapped persons. The ramp literally looks like a wheelchair ramp that goes into the water along one side of the pool. The pool has a "lap" part where more serious swimmers can swim laps and an "open" part where you can just float around and play in the water freely. There is also a kiddie pool that is very shallow for toddlers and babies - still needs supervision of course. There is a fenced gate around the kiddie pool to separate it from the larger pool. There is shading under a large tree and small picnic tables, too. There were also lounging chairs that you can lay back on and sun bathe. They aren't open all year round but usually only during summer break. The lifeguards are usually highschool kids .. for summer jobs. There are plenty of parking spaces, restrooms, showers to rinse off and water fountains. Also if you're into PokemonGo there are a couple of stops and a gym here. :)
