    The diving board area
    Suzie P.

Took my kiddos here a few weeks ago and we had a blast. It is probably one of the best pools we have ever been to, and we do pool hop quite often. The lifeguards are very attentive, nice, and I actually feel safe if I turn my back for just a moment. They have three diving boards. Too low boards. 1 high board. The high board is in the middle of the two low boards. There is ample room for jumping flipping and swimming around without the fear of hitting someone or hitting the side of the pool, like another one we just visited recently. The kitty section is very nice. And it's not just for tiny tots either. My 5 year old had a blast over there. No balls or pool toys are allowed in this particular section. The slide is great and there's lots of water coming at you in many different directions. Enough to keep the kids entertained for a good little while. The larger pool is equipped with two basketball goals one in the three foot and one in four foot. The slope is gradual so it's not a drop off like some pools are. Which is also nice and helpful. The area for playing ball is mostly roped off. There are plenty of tables spread throughout the area. The restrooms are small, but nice, and clean. Which I appreciate. They offer life jackets and I believe I saw boogie boards for those who need them. They are open year round. Admission for adults is $5 each. Children, I believe, 12 and under are $3 each. Not sure about the others. All in all a very wonderful pool. The whole family enjoyed it a great deal. We will absolutely be back. The location is great. It's tucked away in a nice little neighborhood in a nice part of Northwest Austin.

This place is great! There is a lap pool, a fitness center and a nice kiddie pool / splash pad for kids! There are long chairs/umbrellas, and plenty of shaded areas. I went with two year old and she loved it. We also were able to bring our own food and eat it on a picnic table (near the pool)! The area is clean! I'm taking away a star because the staff isn't friendly (no thank yous, no smiles etc).

We visited this pool on a saturday and enjoyed it very much. We paid $5.00 adults and $4.00 for the kids. We tried paying with credit card but they had issues with the machine, so had to pay cash. Our 3 and 4 year old kids loved the splash pad. For a saturday it was not packed! We loved that they had tables and chairs so close so we could keep an eye on the kids from close by. I also like that part of the splash pad was shaded. The whole place was very clean, I was very impressed. It was nice that they had both indoor and outdoor showers. Although we stayed on the side of the splash pad, the swimming pool was great too, we will be going in there next time.

Low and medium diving boards and 2 lapping lanes.

Let me start off by saying Ewwww!!! They have a little kiddie pool which my toddler was stoked about. It was down right filthy!!! I mean it was soooo dirty. There was bugs galore, leaves, bird feathers and all kinds of stuff floating in it!! It was nasssssssty!! But despite that heres the real kicker. After about 30 min or so they switched life guards. The one up there that was leaving was doing her job and she did it well. Now this new one omg was the worst. The entire time she was up there she was just jibber jabbering with a guest the entire time. Not ONCE did she pay attention to anyone in the pool. Not once did she look or even gaze at any of the children or people in the pool. She didnt even turn her head. A woman in the lane next to me noticed the same thing I did and said something to me about it. She then told me i should say something. So I did. When I approached the young girl working the front she seemed not surprised nor shocked that I said something but yet preceded to tell me " i think i saw her turn her head a couple times"! Are u kidding me right now? I asked for a supervisor number and she gave it to me. Not once did she apologize or say anything. This place is a filthy dangerous joke. All the floats and equipment are rotten and trashed teeth marks bent up. I will never ever go back here. You couldn't pay me to go back to this crappy place. What a shame.

The larger one has swimming lanes, 2 low dives, 1 high dive, water-basketball, wade out area, etc. The smaller one is PERFECT for kids. It's probably no more than 1.5-2 feet deep, but has sprayers/fountains everywhere, a jungle gym in the middle of the pool with a slide, whale statues to sit on, etc. I saw kids from 2-12 in there having a blast! Not a swimmer? Not a problem! There are shaded areas to sit at if you just want to watch the others swim. I saw plenty of people sitting back with a book or laying out to get a tan. The prices are only $3 for youth (under 18) and $5 for adults. You can bring your own food and bev and spend the day in the sun, but cooling off! My husband and I just moved into a house in the Anderson Mill Mud district and out of our awesome apartment. Living in a house is awesome, but man.... how I missed the pools at the apartment complex, especially with well over a month of 3-digit tempteratures. But with this pool and it's appeal for all ages, I'm not missing that apartment complex anymore! I will definitely become a regular!

The fireworks show alone was worth the entire trip and wait. It was far better than the 4th of July. In fact it was so good I can't even imagine what the 4th of July for Cedar Park has in store for fireworks. And I'm going to guess that what they've done in the past has been great. Okay, so they had live music all night long. They had carnival game. They had carnival rides. Balloon pops frog toss. The bag slide. The spinner ride. 3 free bounce houses. The hamster ball. Also known as zorb balls. Mechanical bull. Wipeout. Rock wall climbing. Bungee bouncing. Roasted corn. Hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, pickles, funnel cakes. Snow cones, water, soda, tea. A gymnastics show. And a firework show that pretty much just beat all. Everything was almost reasonably priced. It can get pricey with more than one child. Especially if a family of four is wanting to do each event. It's worth doing a couple but for the type of events I don't like forking over too much cash for that. The crowd was more than pleasant. The lines were not long. Everybody was a pleasure to be around. All the staff and volunteers were all very friendly and sweet. Justin nice atmosphere all the way around. The festival lasted from 5 p.m. To 8:30 p.m.. The firework show start promptly at 830. It lasted until 8 53. 23 minutes of absolutely astonishing fireworks. Let's not forget about the kickass park they have. With a multitude of climbing pieces. A slide that will knock you on your butt. And a swimming pool what the water playground for the kids and a slide for bigger kids and adults. My family and I had the time of our life out there today. We got there around 1:30 p.m. And we stayed until 9 p.m.. It was a blast. The firework show im still talking about it. It was just really great. I can't wait till next year. This will be an annual event for us. I wish we had been the last 5 years. But I'm grateful I found out about it and we got to go get here. And I'm very much looking forward to next year.

There's also a pretty cool slide and one of those "walk on floats across the water" things. My kids stayed for almost 2 hours and the only reason we left then is because they were starting to turn red from their sunscreen wearing off. The lifeguards were also great. We have gotten so used to overbearing lifeguards this summer who blow their whistles and yell nonstop and this was a nice change of pace. They were very patient with everyone, using normal speaking voices and only using whistles if someone was doing something dangerous. It made for a very relaxing and fun experience. The entry for kids is about standard ($3 each) and a bit higher than usual for adults ($6 each) but one of the benefits of this is that the place wasn't very crowded so we were able to have a good time without feeling cramped. We'll definitely be coming back again, kids and adults had a great time.
