Always a good place for an event, party, or simple wet fun. We have been a member for years and have had no issues.

There's also a pretty cool slide and one of those "walk on floats across the water" things. My kids stayed for almost 2 hours and the only reason we left then is because they were starting to turn red from their sunscreen wearing off. The lifeguards were also great. We have gotten so used to overbearing lifeguards this summer who blow their whistles and yell nonstop and this was a nice change of pace. They were very patient with everyone, using normal speaking voices and only using whistles if someone was doing something dangerous. It made for a very relaxing and fun experience. The entry for kids is about standard ($3 each) and a bit higher than usual for adults ($6 each) but one of the benefits of this is that the place wasn't very crowded so we were able to have a good time without feeling cramped. We'll definitely be coming back again, kids and adults had a great time.

Its a bit hidden right by a playground and dog park. This summer we had her taking lessons for the Preschool class early on in the summer and a couple of weeks ago completed the Advanced Preschool. Swimming lessons were through the Rec Center schedule. If you or any family members are thinking of doing swimming lessons, I highly recommend taking the courses as they take place here. The instructors were friendly with all ages and took such great time and patience especially with the preschoolers. There are two pools at the Lake Creek Pool. One large one...I'm not quite sure the depth but there is also a kiddie pool off to the side which has a cover over it from the sun..which was maybe a little over a foot in depth. Off to the side there are a handful of picnic type tables and several lounge chairs off to the side. There is a huge tent over the picnic tables but other than that, there is no shade. For just playing in the water and to swim, this place isn't too bad if you aren't looking for water slides or anything. Just a place to swim, hang out and cool off.

You can bring in your own food and drinks (no alcohol-boo!) which is great since they don't have food items or snacks for sale. It's only $2 to get in which seems like a steal for any activity whatsoever these days, being that everything ever to do is hella expensive. This pool is nothing exciting. It's great for swimming and has a nice big deep end of diving without the board. It also has a nice shaded kiddie pool for my little one. There's no trees or grass to relax in if you're looking for that. The bathrooms are usually pretty gross. Fortunately, I don't have to use them often. They could pick up the TP off the ground- that'd be cool.

It has a bi grill great for cooking tons of hotdogs or hamburgers at once. Bathrooms are usually pretty clean. Only downside is pool. They allow the Brushy Creek Marlins to lease the pool for the summer "home" swim meets which I feel is very generous considering the microphone and speakers carryover the noise throughout a sizable area. The winter swimmers the Brushy Creek Sailfish use the pool too. Not near as many and not much conflict as even though the Texas winters can be mild the area isn't near as busy. Not sure if the homeowners will see this post but as the Mimi of a 10 yr. old (that has been with the team since she was 5) I wanted to issue a personal thank you I hope the relationship continues for many years to come! I need to mention the actual neighborhood. Rarely have I toured a neighborhood where it's hard to find a visible mix of homes where the owners aren't fond of yard work and it shows. Or even though there is an HOA -owners are frequently allowed to break the rules. Not here at Sendero Springs. No unsightly anything!!! Regretfully, a move is not in our future or I'd be house hunting here!!!

The instructors are great, very patient and communicative for my kids and they just have such a wide variety. This is probably the nicest Y in the entire metro area. In my opinion, the pool is really great in the outdoor pool is a really wonderful upgrade as well as all of the other amenities that they have and the pricing is very reasonable for the family plan. For myself and my fiance, the price was excellent- ~80$ a month for both of us. Today I had limited time to workout, so I went to the gym intending to use the Egym. A full circuit takes about 24 minutes, and is a decent workout. I wanted to do 8-12 reps at 80% max for a quick workout, but the machine was locked to a specific program, and I could not change the workout from the app before I started the timed loop. I asked for help from the nearby YMCA personal trainer, and specifically asked if I could change my workout settings to the above mentioned settings. He seemed annoyed that I was asking questions at all, and asked if I had done the setup sessions. I told him yes, but my account was still not letting me change my workout session. I then asked again if I could set my own program to do ~10 reps @80%. He seemed annoyed, told me that the programs were not configurable, and left with the machine on the workout selection screen. I switched to a workout program that was closer to what I wanted and did my workout in that first machine. Since the EGYM is a loop, I looked to my right and saw someone just sitting down and logging in. Im not sure how this happened, as it is supposed to be a timed loop- but the new guy had a 2 minute timer on the screen. At this point I was frustrated by the lack of help and the fact that i was going to have to sit there for 2 more minutes after wasting some 10 minutes with the staff member. I got up, cursed under my breath and started walking towards the free machines as I could set them manually and get my workout done. The staff member who had previously been annoyed with me got in my face and threatened to have me ejected for cursing a single time when no children were present. After his previous attitude for me asking him sinple questions about the EGYM machines, this seemed quite out of place. Certainly I should not have cursed out loud- but this guy getting in my face was completely unprofessional as well. I have canceled my membership and will not be coming back. I can not recommend this location as a gym unless you never need a staff member to help you.
