I am blown away by this amazing swim program! I have both my 4 year old and 2 year old boys in classes, and have seen a consistent improvement each week. My 2 year old for the first couple weeks wanted nothing to do with lessons. Miss Nathalia and Miss Hannah came up with a plan to help him become more comfortable getting in the water. He now, along with his older brother, look forward to swim class! I am feeling much more confident for their safety at home in our own pool, and love the fact they are actually learning to swim. My daughter is 7 and has been in lessons at Emler since she was a baby and never got the hang of swimming. We brought her here as a last ditch effort. I waited to write my review because I didn't want to rave prematurely. We have been coming here for over a year now and I think It's time for my review. First of all, we tried our three different swim schools (you know...the ones you always hear about when you ask, "Where should I take my kid to learn how to swim?" I didn't like the huge classes and small pool, I didn't like having to PAY extra to make up missed on inconvenient days they dictate. No thank you. Ready Go Swim has been fantastic from day one. Hannah, the owner is extremely professional and accommodating to her clients. When you miss a class, you simply have one more class added to the end of your classes at your regularly scheduled time and day. No extra charge, no fuss. The instructors are top notch. We have had zero issues and our kids now go twice a week because they love it so much. I would recommend it to anyone! P.S. the pool is large and very warm. My kids love it. read more

RGS is probably great if your child is old enough to understand language and follow instructions, as well as a regimented training sequence, but the facility is *not* suitable for infant swim lessons. Staff is exclusively children who are trying to run 8-16mo old babies through a strictly timed series of training events without flexibility or time to let babies adapt at their pace. The instructors are fine, just not trained well enough to manage infant swimming. But more concerningly, there has *never* been an adult manager or adult period on-site during swim lessons. We had a scheduling issue on the first day - no adult, and the children instructors had no clue what to do so we had to wait for the owner to text back. There was a specific issue with a specific instuctor- no adult to speak with on site, and I'm certainly not (as a 32yo man) going to confront a high school girl over unprofessional conduct. Again, probably great based on the reviews if your kid is actually old enough to work with the instructors. If you want baby swimming familiarization, etc lessons find somewhere else. Owners insisted after a previous review that there was an adult onsite for each of our lessons, but that's simply untrue. Maybe they're calling anyone of legal age (18+) an adult and considering that good enough but I never saw anyone readily identifiable as being in charge of the operation present onsite read more

We have been here for 4 months but I saw significant improvement within just 3 weeks. My 6 and 3 year old learn together but still at their own pace. This makes it convenient for me and the younger gains confidence from his brother. Neither are scared of the water anymore and I feel confident taking them to pools/water parks. My kids had been attending Emler for years. After attending lessons from 18 months of age to 4.5 years, my daughter began to stagnate in her classes there. There was not much improvement and it felt like we were overpaying for what were receiving. They didn't really push her. My 2.5 year old was improving, but painfully slowly. It had been time to look for a new school for a while, but we didn't actually look until Emlers make up class policy began to also cause us frustrations. On a recommendation of a friend, we went in for a free trial at Ready, Go, Swim! Wow. What a difference. Hannah is incredible. She gets more out of my kids in 1 lesson than Emler was getting in a month. We are so impressed with her style. All of her instructors have swimming backgrounds too. Swim team participants, etc. At Emler, they hired lots of kids with no swimming background whatsoever. I will say Emlers facilities are aesthetically beautiful, while RGS are not nearly as pretty, but completely functional. What it comes down to is the quality of the lesson though, so we switched and are now happy customers. Hannah doesn't follow a script, she tailors the lessons to the child. She has smaller classes, thus providing more individualized attention and they accomplish so much more in the same amount of time. We have a pool, so for us, we want our kids swimming asap, but did not want the harshness of an ISR type of program. Our little guy sometimes cries due to separation anxiety. With Hannah, he has cried far less than he was at Emler (and his teacher at Emler was one of our favorites for Emler). Bottom line: both of my kids are advancing so much more rapidly now at RGS. Their makeup policy is also much better for the customer: if you need to miss a lesson, they just extend your paid sessions by a week. At Emler they charge a $5 fee for an inconvenient make up class with a teacher that normally doesn't teach your child. RGS is so much better! read more

Updated to one star. I took my son on a mommy and me swim date today and discovered he's regressed horribly. His confidence in the pool is no where near what it was this summer (maybe four months ago). Perhaps the only thing that's progressed is his ability to climb out of the pool. So I began asking hjm questions about his swimming. He can remember his swim instructor's name from CO (when he was one) but he can't remember the name of his current instructor. He can name all of his local teachers as well.. but not his swim instructor. I suppose I should have anticipated this given my initial assessment of being a number not a name. Still, it's disheartening. Two stars because my son has made some progress and appears to like his instructor. The owner however, Hannah, is surprisingly terrible for such a "thriving" business (hence docking three stars). Make no mistake, to her you're a credit card number, not a name. She can't remember a conversation two weeks ago with e-mail follow up, but she'll absolutely remember to charge you. It's about packing in more numbers into groups, not individualized attention for the students. If your business is herding cattle that's fine. If it's working with kids, its not. read more

I really like this place! It is exactly what my daughter needed at 4.5 years old. She really needed personalized attention from someone who knew what they were doing. She was really uncomfortable in the water and didn't want her head going underneath. After just a few lessons, I see so much progress! My 5 year old had his first lesson today and I left terrified. First we had to hunt down our instructor - no one told us what to do or where to go at arrival. It seemed very unorganized. Lots of teenage instructors but no actual adults overseeing. As the instructor was teaching a child to swim to the other side of the pool my child was sitting unattended in the water on a step in the 4-5ft deep area - I look up and my son is under the water wailing, drowning and my husband ran over and pulled him out! The coach didn't even see nor know what happened! Swim lessons are supposed to be supervised and if we were not there and my husband hadn't been looking or son would have drowned to death!!! This was my sons first lesson and this place was recommended but I'm terrified to bring him back. There needs to be better supervision! Would not recommend this establishment for infant/toddler first time swim lessons! I completed a free trial and was so excited based on the recommendations we received; however, I was utterly disappointed in the entire experience. I am only giving two stars, instead of one, because the young lady who provided the lesson was sweet and patient. There were NO expectations or guidance provided prior to the lesson. During our correspondence, Hannah was focused on just scheduling the session (and mind you, she stated "spots are filling up fast" with no context) and I expected to get some more information once I arrived, however, upon arrival, I was told to wait. After 15 min of waiting, the young lady who led the session showed up, again NO guidance or explaining how the session will go or where I could change, how I would need to proceed if I wanted to continue, etc. Additionally, upon asking (prior to the session), Hannah provided their Covid "protocols" which stated only one caretaker with child. "No Exceptions". What a joke. After having a stressful, disorganized session, tackling an 18 month old to change out of wet clothes after the lesson, I see TWO caretakers sitting with one child. Apparently "No Exceptions" is used very loosely. We are now looking at Emler and already, they have appeared to be more organized. I can see this place being better for older kiddos but definitely would not recommend for infant or toddlers!! read more

I wanted to write this in hopes that perhaps this business will improve their customer service with first time visitors to this swim school. When we took our son on June 4, 2019 for his first trial class, the entrance was very odd. I didn't see a Welcome sign with instructions on what to do, no one came to greet us and I frankly did not know what to do. I thought perhaps I came in through the wrong entrance but there didn't seem to be another door. I looked to my right and I saw a group of young gentlemen seated in a room with a glass window and none of them came to greet us either so I figured they were not there to help us in any way. We stood there for a while hoping someone would come to greet us. When no one came, I eventually asked a gentlemen who was seated inside what the procedure was or if we should come in. We finally decided on our own to just sit on the inside past the gate and wait hoping someone would come to us eventually, again, making us feel very uncomfortable for our first visit. Eventually we see a Hispanic young man come into the building, he came to us and asked if I spoke Spanish, which I thought was a weird question to ask to a first time customer. He mentioned that another boy (his name also was a Hispanic name) might also join us. My initial thought to this was that we were placed with this instructor because our last name was a Hispanic last name with the presumption that we only speak Spanish. But I thought this was odd because I had been communicating with a lady named Hannah in English via email. Either way, I feel this was an unprofessional presumption that we spoke Spanish because of our last name. All of the other students in the pool had Caucasian instructors. After my son's lesson, the young man left and said thank you and didn't talk to us about possibly enrolling him or didn't give us any other information. We my son was done changing from his wet clothes, we didn't know what to do and no one else came to talk with us so we just left. To this date (June 12, 2019), we have not yet been contacted by anyone regarding our first visit or to find out if our son enjoyed it or is planning on enrolling. We have already enrolled our son with another swim school. I simply wanted to let the owners and everyone know about this incident so that you know what to expect and because I don't think any of this was very professional at all. People write good reviews about this place but I don't know if what I encountered was the normal procedure. I do believe in customer service as being a priority. I was also disappointed that I didn't get to meet Hannah as she was the person I had been communicating with via email. read more

Highly recommend Ready Go Swim. We've worked with two different instructors and they've been great with my son. The techniques they use are amazing and adaptable for different ages and/or skill levels. Their policies are also very customer friendly. You pay for sessions up front and as long as you give advance notice when you have to miss a class, that session doesn't count against the prepurchased session which is much appreciated from a busy family with dual working parents whose schedules aren't always predictable. Our son has been taking lessons with Ms Hannah since about 18 months old. When he started he was very fearful of water and water in his face. I cannot say enough amazing things about Ready Go Swim! The lessons are fun and gentle for babies, progress quickly, and are absolutely effective. I started my baby girl at 7 months old and we have been attending for 8 months! We are learning water safety and survival skills through progression using key words "Ready Go". The coaches walk the parents through each skill, demonstrate, and explain WHY that particular skill is important. They will give modifications for a more advanced or lesser version of each skill as well. I myself am much more confident in the water since starting lessons, but it is comforting to know my baby is confident as well. She absolutely loves the water! I found Ready Go Swim from an advertisement. My daughter is 8 and had been scared of getting her head in the water. I am highly impressed! After just a few months she passed her swim test for summer camp, is not that scared to go under water, jump in, or anything. She really loves it and love Baylin, her instructor. A couple of years ago we learned about the Colin's Hope organization (https://www.colinshope.org) and decided that we wanted both our daughters (7 and 4 yrs old) to start swimming lessons mainly because of safety reasons. We wanted to ensure they knew what to do in case of an emergency. They have been taking classes for around 2 years now and we all love it. Not only Hannah prepared them to be safe and taught them water safety procedures, she is also teaching them swimming technique. Hannah is AN INSTRUCTOR'S ROLE MODEL. Her teaching technique works perfectly with both of my daughters (one of my daughters in in the Autism Spectrum) It is just what were looking for. We tried for some time other swim schools before and we felt it was a total waste of time and money. With Hannah we feel that we are really getting what we are paying for (and more). She is sweet and implements positive reinforcement in her lessons( tons of good jobs, you are doing awesome etc) but at the same is firm and has makes sure they take advantage of the lesson and don't let them play around.
