Delightful gluten free brunch in the West Village. I am a bit surprised by the low Yelp rating. The spot itself was pretty small and tight, small tables very close together--very euro vibe. Apparently there was a back room they eventually opened up because it was getting too crowded, not sure why they didn't just do so from the start! It was super cute though and had a charming romantic vibe. Service was mostly good! Our original waiter seemed a bit out of his depth and confused, but there were some other servers helping as well and those ladies were on top of it. They were able to confirm what options were dairy free as well. Nothing took too long and everything came out right--and delicious! We ended up ordering from the fixed brunch menu which included drinks--two of us got byo omelettes and one a frittata which came with potatoes, greens, and focaccia, and then we all opted for mimosas! We also shared a pancake plate which included a coffee. Pricing was super fair for the area and felt like a good deal. And everything was so good! I did a scallion and bacon omelette and it was very good. The potatoes and focaccia served with it as well were pretty amazing--I ended up stealing my friend's piece. The pancakes were pretty decent and fluffy as well. Mimosas and drip coffee were great. All around a super satisfying and delicious meal. Would for sure come back and recommend!

Absolutely wonderful gluten free restaurant! I will definitely be back. I ordered the cheese sticks. Was so wonderful to be able to have cheese sticks again and they were delicious! I also have the lobster ravioli. Sooo good! A must try, even if you're not GF.

Tight Quarters, Modest Flavor -- but Quality Has Slipped We returned to Wild in the West Village for dinner on a busy Friday night, a spot we've visited many times over the years. The place was buzzing -- every table inside full, the narrow dining room and tiny kitchen making movement tight, especially with the bathroom tucked right next to it. Guests and staff share this single restroom, which makes for awkward congestion when there's a line. In summer, outdoor seating eases the squeeze, but in winter it's elbows all around. Wild's fully gluten-free menu leans Mediterranean, but this visit was disappointing. Our calamari arrived in a small portion, lukewarm, and with little care in presentation -- a far cry from past visits or other calamari worldwide. For mains, we had the pepperoni pizza, the "Skinny B--ch" vegetarian pizza, and chicken Parmesan with rigatoni. Portions were modest, quality mediocre, and everything arrived cold. The chicken Parmesan was thin and undersized, while the rigatoni in red sauce looked like something from a much lower-tier restaurant. We finished with caramel crunch cake and tiramisu -- both standard, rich desserts, but nothing memorable. Service felt rushed, with the server keen to move things along, even bringing the check unprompted while we were mid-conversation. Considering the portion sizes, quality, and overall experience, the cost of dinner simply didn't feel justified. The space would benefit from an upkeep-focused remodel that preserves its charm while improving flow and comfort. The bathroom, still gas-station-esque, remains a sore spot. Once a standout for casual gluten-free dining, Wild's quality has noticeably slipped over the years. #WestVillageEats #GlutenFreeNYC #SmallSpaceBigFlavor #DiningInNYC

Butternut Squash Ravioli

Gluten free is hard to knock out the park - while it wasn't knocked out, Wild does provide really solid gluten free options. I promise the further you get from gluten the less you recall how good is it. Loved that they have butternut squash ravioli on the menu - definitely feel the pasta was a little too al dente for my liking. Maybe I can ask them to cook it longer next time. If they could find a way to thicken/ sweeten the pizza dough crust I think it would be even better - but our mushroom, burrata, prosciutto pizza still did the trick. I'm very happy a gluten free place like wild exists! I will be back and will check out some of the other options. Super cozy vibes inside. One teeny tiny bathroom though but that's what ya get in west village. Keep on keeping it GF Wild!

If you need to eat gluten free this is the place for you. If you are connected to a person who is gluten free and you want to eat excellent food which they can eat, this place is for you! The restaurant is 100% gluten free. We were seated in the dining room which was preferable (had a reservation). It was quieter and slightly better lit. Service was 2/3rds good. Wine steward- nice job. Split a bottle among the five of us and still left some for later. Food service- friendly and accommodating. Waitron- lacked inattentiveness and was slightly indifferent. Only meh of the night. All entrees were excellent. The chew of the pasta and flavors of the sauces were top tier. Three of us had ravioli (3 different types) and two had pizza. I would eat any of them again. Desserts were good too. NY is lucky so have such a place!

Rigatoni & Meatballs

100% gluten free! Mozzarella sticks 10/10. Calamari was good but slightly understated. Butternut squash ravioli was great. Rigatoni with meatballs was just average. Great restaurant for people with celiac! Restaurant was very busy so service was a little slow but they were very nice! Vibey ambiance. Great outdoor seating but also plenty of indoor seating as well.

For all the GF baddies who miss mozz sticks!

My second visit to Wild has been fantastic! Fabulous cocktail, mozz sticks to die for, and a GF pizza and pasta menu people dream of. If you are gluten-free, this cozy and friendly nook was made for you!

such a cute place!! I'm not personally gluten free, but my two roommates are and they were so impressed with the food!! everyone was very kind here and the service was good. I definitely need to come back soon and try more of their items- the menu was big!! they also have cooking classes which seem cool

Cute place, friendly staff. Great gluten free restaurant in a great location. Appetizers were delicious! Meatballs, cáptese salad and the mozzarella are to die for. Did not love the chicken Marsala it was a bit different for me from other places. But overall it was a good meal and will definitely go back.

The vibes are great the food may be the WOAT in NYC, unfortunately enough. We ordered everything on the menu and every dish felt microwaved.

We didn't have a reservation but I would recommend having one because they were quite busy already at around 11am on a Sunday. They have some bar seating, some high tops and some regular tables as well that seat mostly 2-4. We both ordered coffee, one hot and one cold, and I liked that they arrived in thermoses with the restaurant's brand on them. Very cute! and kept our drinks at their respective temperatures fairly well. I didn't finish mine and they put it in a to go cup for me which was very nice. The food was pretty good as well. My friend's vegan meal was very high quality and he was really happy with it. I got the chicken sausage and poached eggs. I really liked the sauce that was on it. I did take a look at their dinner menu also that looks really interesting. I'd be curious to come back and try the dinner menu!

The menu has a lot of interesting tapas-style options, and since I wasn't quite sure how hungry I was, I decided to start with the tofu bacon bao. It came with two steamed bao buns filled with crispy tofu bacon, avocado, and arugula. The presentation was beautiful, and the flavors lived up to it. The tofu was sliced into thin, crispy strips that added a great texture, while a light, creamy sauce tied everything together without overpowering the other ingredients. The avocado was perfectly ripe, and the buns were assembled thoughtfully, with just the right balance of fillings instead of being stuffed to the point where everything falls out. The two bao buns ended up being the perfect amount of food for me. They were satisfying without being too heavy and still left room for an ice cream stop afterward. If I'd had a bigger appetite, I definitely would have been tempted to order a few more dishes. Overall, I really enjoyed both the food and the service. The staff was welcoming, the atmosphere was inviting, and the bao were excellent. I'd happily come back to explore more of the menu.

Great bagel sandwiches (sausage egg & cheese was my favorite!) and their iced coffees were amazing! They serve them in plastic/metal sealed containers so they tend to stay cold longer. For it being our first time, we were a little confused with the ordering process, and they were so busy that it took a while to be acknowledged. There were kiosks to place the order, but we couldn't find a place to request special requirements, so we had to figure out how we could order at the register amongst the slew of other customers. Our order for 2 bacon egg and cheeses were called with a biscoff iced latte and we were excited at first. But when we opened the sandwiches our bacon was just 3, maybe 4 fatty pieces when we specifically asked for crispy bacon. My husband settled for his, but I requested a reorder where they corrected the bacon issue, and even put more slices. Besides that snafu, I was excited for my latte, but was also underwhelmed by the taste. I assumed since it was a biscoff cookie latte (which I love) that it would be sweeter... The establishment was nice, and there were so many selections, so we would give it another try before writing it off completely.

It would be nice if any of the signs or tags showed that information. To me, it seems a little deceptive , like those Mr Softee trucks that don't post prices so the guy just charges what he thinks you'll pay. I prefer transparency. Anyway, he rang something up again, which was fine but then he said something about refunding it, but the receipt he showed was for two sodas. A refund was unnecessary and nothing we asked for. In any event, we didn't eat the pizza. And if for some reason my charge did not go through (although it shows in my Google Pay), I'm happy to pay for the slice that I threw away. The people who work there seem nice enough and it's good that there is a gluten free option for people. Some gluten free food is pretty good but this was very dry and lacked flavor. I don't know what the cheese was but it had a powdery texture. But I'm not a gluten free expert so all I know is that this did not taste good to me. Last year, I was at Nothing Really Matters, the bar next door, with a group of friends. Someone ordered pizza, and I had no idea where it came from.
