We had a great afternoon with Christopher as a showed off the highlights of Isla Coranados. All of the wild life, including the numerous pods of dolphins, and the bonus whale and, of course, those noisy sea lions, birds, birds and more pelicans, were all a big treat. Then there was that very white and sandy beach. Thank you, Christopher.

I used Wild Loreto for transportation to and from the airport and later took the evening cruise on a catamaran boat. The boat captain "Chalio" was very friendly and outgoing. Overall, I highly recommend Wild Loreto for their transportation and excursion needs.

Pod of dolphins around Isla Coronado

Absolutely fabulous!!! I scheduled five different services from Wild Loreto, and each one was handled with professionalism, enthusiasm, and kindness. I had private round trip transfer to my hotel from the airport. Additionally, I booked four tours: (a) Coronado snorkeling trip, (b) Sunset catamaran cruise, (c) San Javier Mission tour, and (d) Snorkeling catamaran. I think if you decide to book though Wild Loreto, you will be impressed with the front office and how helpful and responsive Josefina is, and once on your tour you will be blown away by how well informed the team of Umberto, Santos, Chaleo, Raul, Joselyn, and Esteban are whether talking about Loreto today or whether about the town's history, the sea life, or the adjacent islands. I have never experienced such a consistent level of delivering a high quality and enjoyable experience as Wild Loreto. The entire team made for one of the most extraordinary vacations my wife and I have ever had; Muchas Gracias por todo.

Went fishing with Christopher on the Summer 1 fishing boat. He's by far the most knowledgeable captain I've fished with. I'm a long time fisherman and still learned a few things about the area from him. We had limits of Dorado within 2 hrs. And let a few go. We also got into some Sierra and had a couple marlin teasing us. Highly recommend wild Loreto and captain Christopher.

We booked a trip to Coronado Island. We had THE MOST amazing time. Outer boat caption and guide went above and beyond! They were both so friendly and we felt like family! We saw wales a TON of dolphins and the sea lions and a couple sea turtles! We have 5 young children and the guide was amazing with our children! I would 100% recommend this company for any of your excursions! Our Guide Chalio Brito was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable!

Another 5 stars! This was the best thing I've done in years…read more Our family group of 5 rode in a small boat to Coronado Island, piloted by Nicke (don't know how it's spelled, but is pronounced Neek-ay). We filled the boat so didn't have to have strangers ride with us and were very pleased about that. Nicke stopped and we got out & snorkeled at 3 different spots around the island. The first was the most spectacular underwater: Smooth, flat-side, house-sized boulders falling away from the island into the deepest blue depths, fish, all over, different kinds. Me just hanging in crystal clear water 70 feet deep... I haven't seen so many colorful & interesting fish since I was on the Red Sea as a kid. Nicke was so cool & didn't rush us. I could see other boats coming and going but we were here for around 1.5 hours and not made to hurry. It was so beautiful underwater that no-one wanted to move on. The next stop was a sea lion colony. This was an all-male colony; no females to fight over, so we were told we could safely swim with them - and we were not expecting THAT! Never dreamed I would have an opportunity to do such a thing! But we did and it was incredible. These are massive sea lions, not little seals. They were curious & swam all around each of us, and underneath, swirling and staring with their huge soft eyes, staying juuuust out of arms reach. It felt like an impossible dream. Nicke called us "the brave family" when we got out of the water here; I guess we got a little close to the sea lions. Again, other tour boats were coming & going but we were not rushed by our guide. The last snorkel spot was not as splendidly dramatic underwater as the first, but it was every bit as beautiful and had "tropical" fish everywhere. It was beautiful in a different way; you can't believe the colors you're seeing, the different shades of green and everything is close up, right in front of you, because it is much shallower. By the time were were done here, we were getting tired. Nicke took us to a clean sand beach with classic "perfect beach" turquoise water, set up an umbrella for shade and we lay around for an hour, till we were ready to go. And we were ready, it was a big day. Here he broke out some lunch and we ate every bit of it. If you are expecting cuisine at this juncture, you'd better bring it yourself. It wasn't fancy & there wasn't a lot of it, but that wasn't the point of the trip. We weren't there for a boat-ride & lunch. We got to spend hours snorkeling a world- class environment & swimming with wild sea lions for just over $10 an hour per person, an incredible value. Nicke did say that it was the best time of the year (fall) for clear water & visibility. I live 2 hours from here, near the beach, and will be returning to do THIS again with my Go-pro. If you don't have one, borrow one. You will want to remember this beautiful experience for a long time.

You get what you pay for and this is true here, not the cheapest but worth it. This was my second visit and new this year compared to last year's visit is high speed internet, all new comfy beds, fresh paint and some new artwork inside. Also my room had a new larger refrigerator and a new AC/Heater which was whisper quiet and super cold. The new murals around the courtyard and pool are beautiful and add to the colorful plants and palm trees between each casita. Booking a casita is a little harder than some hotels as you have to contact the hotel via email - they do not use any of the booking services such as Trip adviser or Booking.com. Unfortunately this means you cannot tell when rooms are available on the internet. But the calendar is on their official Casita website so just Google El Tiburon Casitas and the availability calendar is right there. Highly recommend these casitas for singles or couples looking for upscale lodging Loreto, in fact I am already booking for whale season with friends next year before they fill up!

Liz, our hostess outdid herself with making us comfortable and ensuring we had everything we needed to make our stay memorable. She gave us a tour of Loreto so we could get a feel of where things were. Showing us the best restaurants and the most awesome homemade ice cream parlor. Liz arranged for a boat tour for us and let us know all the local happenings around the area. The Casita was equipped with everything you could imagine in a kitchen. I could have baked cookies if I was thus inclined, and the staff came in and cleaned every day. It was lovely having our morning coffee outside in the courtyard and with a heated pool you could swim at any time of the day. With a well stocked library and movies if you just wanted to stay at the casitas and relax you need not look anywhere else. Close by the town square and the marina, everything was within walking distance. We have already booked a 2 week stay next year we were so impressed with the service and room. Pros * Comfortable beds * Private courtyard * Heated pool * Free WiFi * Hostess with the mostest * Full kitchen * Every kitchen appliance and utensils you could think of * Library and games * Movies * Gated * Security lights so you can see at night * Tastefully decorated rooms * Walking distance to anywhere in Loreto Cons * Having to leave as it was all booked up

I wanted a knowledgeable, patient guide who could converse in English. We saw dolphins as we headed out to the island on the panga. Our first stop was near a reef where we jumped out of the boat to snorkel. I was a little nervous to take my mom snorkeling, since she hadn't snorkeled in 20 plus years, plus she gets sea sick and cold really easily. Luckily she was up for it. She donned a full length wet and jumped in the water after a little coaxing. Said was her guide, pulling her along as she held on to a rescue buoy. This allowed her to keep her head down in the water and relax as she was pulled along. We saw tons of colorful fish, sea stars, etc. Back in the boat, we headed to the area where the sea lions gather on the rocks. We jumped out a second time to snorkel with the sea lions. Back in the boat, we headed to the other side of the island to an absolutely gorgeous white sand beach. The water was stunningly beautiful. Said prepared a delicious lunch for us as we relaxed on the beach and swam in the ocean. There were some small hikes we could have taken at that point but we were enjoying the water too much to get out. I could live on that beach... the only thing that kept it from being perfect were the other people. We were in a beautiful, natural environment where I just wanted to hear the birds and the waves, not someone's eighties' metal music on their boom box. There were also others at the beach, who had been dropped of without guides, who seemed to be treating the beach more like a party location, rather than the marine sanctuary / national park that it is. Disrespectful in my opinion. On our way back to the marina, we passed another little island with sea gull nests and baby sea gulls. Said did a great job pointing out all of the things we would have otherwise missed. We had a great trip and will definitely use Said again for a tour when we return.

The people were friendly and welcoming. The lodging was modern, clean and first class at La Mision Hotel. Every meal was excellent or outstanding. Loreto is not Los Cabos. All of this became the backdrop to the jewel of the trip, a day of fishing and relaxation in the Sea of Cortez. Cast N' Reel provided an extremely comfortable and fast boat for our fishing adventure. By fast, I mean that we were able to fish in one day all of the locations that would have taken three day with the local panga boats. All of our needs were anticipated. Breakfast, snacks, lunch, soft drinks and Mexican beers were amply provided. I am a novice fisherman, so I really enjoyed having the perfect balance of coaching and mentoring when needed while also the opportunity to work things out on my own. It was difficult to remember that it was mid-December. The weather was perfect. We caught eleven fish of multiple varieties including grouper and cabrilla. While the marlin and yellowtail were elusive, we did see sea lions, dolphins, sea turtles and perhaps even the dorsal fin of a shy whale. At the end of our day, our catch was taken to one of the better dinner houses in Loreto and prepare in a variety different dishes. They were all wonderful. It would be difficult to have a better ending to our day.

The entire experience was incredible from start to finish!…read more I booked the private boat directly through the actual website, and everything seemed legitimate. The only red flag was that I had to make a payment through a link that was not under the Luxury Boat Tours name. Other than that, everything was absolutely perfect. Alberto (Pancho), the crew boss, stayed in contact with me by text from the time I booked until the moment we were picked up, which gave us a lot of confidence and made the entire process easy. We did a private sailboat excursion in St. Thomas in June, and while it was nice, this experience was on a completely different level. The boat was a large catamaran, and it was just my wife and me. The personal attention was outstanding. The crew went above and beyond to make sure every one of our needs was taken care of. Captain Alberto was not only an excellent captain, but he also prepared an incredible lunch. He diced and prepared all the food like a fine-dining sous chef. My wife does not eat seafood, so they prepared an amazing carne asada meal for her, while I enjoyed the seafood. The quality and quantity of the food were outstanding--we couldn't even finish it! From the moment the dinghy picked us up until we returned more than six hours later, everything was first-class. We spent the day snorkeling, cruising around the islands, and enjoying an experience that was truly top-notch. This was a 5-star experience, and we would 100% recommend Luxury Boat Tours to all of our friends and family. If you're considering a private boat experience, I would highly recommend them!
