Took 2 tours w/Wild Loreto. Mission tour w/Santos was very good, he is extremely knowledgeable, & a safe driver. We toured the mission as well as the vegetation behind it. Santos also stopped twice on the ride to the mission to show us some wonderful scenery. The lunch at the Mission was terrible. All our food came out cold. Recommend that Wild Loreto try a different restaurant by the mission for lunch. The sunset boat tour was very nice. The catamaran is very small & seating is not the most comfortable but you get fantastic views of the mountains & shoreline. Food was very minimal but fine - chips, salsa, guac, cheese,fruit, & burritos. Drinks were beer, tequila, & rum. No wine - I was very disappointed with the no wine. read more

We booked the Coronado Island Tour with snorkeling through Wild Loreto and had a great time overall! The company picked us up right in Nopoló and drove us to the marina, which made everything super convenient. The tour itself was beautiful--snorkeling was awesome, we got plenty of snacks and drinks (including alcohol), and lunch was simple but tasty with sandwiches provided. My only complaint is that they didn't have enough snorkeling gear for our group of 6. Thankfully, two of our people chose not to snorkel, otherwise it would have been a bigger issue. A little more preparation on that end would have made the experience perfect. That said, Carlos, Humberto, and our driver (sorry I forgot his name!) were fantastic--super kind, knowledgeable, and made the trip fun and educational. We had a great afternoon with Christopher as a showed off the highlights of Isla Coranados. All of the wild life, including the numerous pods of dolphins, and the bonus whale and, of course, those noisy sea lions, birds, birds and more pelicans, were all a big treat. Okay, if you're heading to Loreto and looking for an absolutely incredible experience on the water, I cannot recommend the Wild Loreto Tours Catamaran two-island snorkel enough! Seriously, it was a highlight of our trip. Captain Chalio and his 1st mate, Cristofer, were just fantastic. They were right on time, and Wild Loreto Tours even provided round-trip transportation from the Villa Del Palmar Islands of Loreto Resort to the Puerto Escondido marina, which was super convenient. From the moment we stepped on board, Chalio and Cristofer were so accommodating. They were constantly making sure we were having a good time, even taking pictures for us and cleaning our sunglasses - talk about service! The wildlife we saw was unreal. I'm not exaggerating when I say we saw more dolphins than you can imagine! We even spotted a couple of whales, which was breathtaking. And a really cool, simple pleasure? While we were docked, we got to stand on the deck and hold out food for the seagulls to come and take right from our hands! The vibe on the boat was perfect - great yachting music playing, just making it all feel so fun and relaxing. Chalio and Cristofer were also really informative about the area. The catamaran itself was spotless and so comfortable. It was actually my friend's birthday, and as a complete surprise, Captain Chalio and Cristofer brought out a cake for her! She said it was the best birthday ever, and honestly, it made the trip even more special for all of us. The scenery throughout the tour was just stunningly beautiful. We had a chance to do some paddleboarding off the side of the boat near a lovely beach, and the snorkeling was fantastic too. And let's talk about the open bar! They had a great selection of drinks, including beer, and were happy to make whatever drinks we ordered. The food was delicious too - bean, cheese, and beef burritos, plus chips, salsa, and guacamole. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Honestly, those four hours felt like absolute heaven. Great tour group, very friendly and knowledgeable. Sunset cruise was great, saw a pod of dolphins which was the highlight. Margaritas were way too sweet, but beer was nice and cold and snacks were excellent! Give a 5 for sunset tour and a 4 for Tabor canyon hike. Santos as EXCELLENT but the description of the hike and pictures are very misleading. This was a bouldering hike and there was one person who didn't have the common sense to know their limits and know when to quit. She almost fell 3 times and once almost took someone with her, fortunately Santos and others were there to catch her. Great hike but should have a better descriptio, if bouldering and heights are not your thing this would not be an enjoyable hike. read more

Went fishing with Christopher on the Summer 1 fishing boat. He's by far the most knowledgeable captain I've fished with. I'm a long time fisherman and still learned a few things about the area from him. We had limits of Dorado within 2 hrs. And let a few go. I had rented a private van and was up charged another $8 for another passenger (with no luggage) my contract said I had a private van for 6- I contacted them and they said that I had to pay an additional $8 over 4. I paid this and explained my frustration (with no response). Associated with this, we were scheduled for pick up and the driver showed up 49 minutes late- making us late for our check in and added more frustration trying to locate them- When we finally got to the airport- it appears that the driver picked up the wrong passengers at the wrong location- I spoke to the management and no compensation or apologies for this stressful situation. This company is the most expensive in Loreto so you expect more than average service- We could have taken another taxi for $25 less - so needless to say we have learned our lesson and will shop around and see better service next time- read more

Wild Loreto Tours was an excellent element to our amazing Loreto vacation. I had reserved our round-trip transportation with a car seat to our hotel, Villa de Palmar. Upon arrival, my family and I were greeted by Norma who was extremely helpful and made sure we boarded our private van and formally introduced us to our driver, Manuel. Our initial driver, Manuel was extremely friendly and had a lot to tell us about Loreto Bay. Once we arrived to our hotel we were offered various excursions which really didn't interest me. I was looking for a customized outing which I contacted Norma about the next day. I requested a certain boat with a fresh seafood lunch at one of their most beautiful islands, Isla Coronado. Norma has conveyed that they didn't have a trip if that nature structured but stated that she'd look into it. In the meantime, I booked a private van to go sightseeing around town and to learn about Loreto's missions. Norma set up our city excursion and that's when we met Mario. Mario is a common day historian that knows everything that is needed to know about Loreto and its rich history. Mario was professional, spoke great English and made my family; especially my children, feel very comfortable. He went above and beyond with every request and I have nothing negative to say about him or the tour. The following day of our vacation, Norma contacted me and provided a few options for our "customized" Coronado island excursion. She was very detailed & professional. Norma was also looking out for our best interest as she had the weather checked on a daily basis and recommended the perfect day for us to go out to sea. She seemed sincerely concerned for my children's safety which one can never put a price on. To make a long story short, the excursion was fantastic and we were lucky as she was able to assign Manuel as our driver and Mario as our cruise guide. The "icing on the cake" was our captain, Indalecio, who was a great captain and even a better chef as he made the most delicious seafood for us on the island. We cannot wait to bring my family back out to Loreto as this is a magical place with very warm & loving people. read more

these people are fraud, be very careful. my friend got a private van 1-7 people. full round trip paid. they charged us additional for 3 people 130.00 dollars to write with them. even though we were 7 people. so the van being private doesnt add to anything. This is the same company you are mostly likely to provide airport to resort transportation for those who prepay - and then to provide transportation for most local excursions. Regardless of what type of adventure/experience you seek, ask for Mario as your guide - especially if you might desire to go somewhere or do something not on a list of tours (since he is likely the only person locally actually willing and able to create a customized excursion - or advise you of existing alternative possibilities of what/when/where might match your interests).
