Wild Fork in Winter Park is basically a grown-up playground for anyone who loves good food and loves options. The store is spotless, well-organized, and surprisingly fun to browse--everything is neatly labeled, easy to find, and stocked with high-quality frozen meats, seafood, and ready-to-cook meals. It's one of the few spots where you can grab everything from bison filets to perfectly portioned salmon to quick weeknight meals that actually taste good. Prices are fair for the quality, and the staff here is always friendly and knowledgeable. They're quick to help you find cuts, explain cooking temps, or suggest sides and sauces you didn't even know you needed. Checkout is fast, and I also appreciate how cold everything stays--nothing gets mushy on the ride home. Whether you're meal-planning, stocking up for grilling season, or just grabbing something easy for dinner, Wild Fork in Winter Park is absolutely worth the stop.

These guys are amazing!! The staff is fun, friendly, and so knowledgeable and although they have an amazing assortment of meats, that also have loads of other foods like frozen vegetables! They recently did a tasting at the Good Pour and they served HANDS DOWN the most delicious food items we sampled all evening! Go on a Sunday morning for easy parking!

I was really impressed with Wild Fork! The quality of the meats is outstanding, and the selection is huge with lots of unique options you don't usually see at regular grocery stores. I ended up buying more than I planned--including a special treat for my pets! Prices were right in line with everyday grocery stores, and the sale items were an even better deal. I'm especially excited to try the Lavender Rosemary seasoning along with the drumsticks and basil mozzarella sausages for dinner. Extra kudos to Denzel who helped me out--he was super knowledgeable, took the time to walk me around the store, and gave excellent recommendations. Thanks to him, I'm even more excited to come back and try new things!

This market is in Winter Park, corner of Fairbanks and Orlando Ave, and I have to say I am impressed with the store. It is very clean, you can see high quality meats, seafood and other products throughout, great prices, and the staff is nice and helpful. Also, you find a variety of specialty meats at Wild Fork Foods including but not limited to bison, kangaroo, alligator, ostrich, pheasant, even frog legs. I had never seen such a variety of meats and seafood in one place. They also have a good variety of frozen fruits and vegetables, spices, breakfast items like Custard Filled Belgian Waffles that are so good and they also come in chocolate, strawberry and apple. Really come by and experience it for yourself. You will not regret

Wild Fork is my new favorite place to get my everyday frozen meats and to try new things! Where else can I get frozen kangaroo!?!?! I have not been brave enough to buy that yet. But at $10 for 3lbs of ground beef when even Walmart is charging $17 for the same thing they have been put into heavy shopping rotation. I also tried those triple meat hamburger patties which were DELICIOUS. The cashier got me all signed up for email specials on checkout. I loved how clean the entire place was and just so well organized. It sure was fun exploring the freezers and seeing the exotic meats up for grabs. One day I'm going to hop on that kangaroo.... When I'm brave enough. Ps parking is a NIGHTMARE but worth it

I've passed by Wild Fork countless times but never stopped in because I don't frequent meat markets. I remember being scared away by prices I saw online when it first opened. I visited last night during the Yelp event and was impressed with what I saw They have large variety of meats, packaged foods, desserts, sauces, spices, etc. The staff was super nice and helpful. The space is small but clean and well organized. They make great use of floor and wall space.

Love, love, love Wild Fork! Great place for premium cuts of beef and hard to find cuts. Everything is frozen so plan accordingly but the quality is top-notch. The prepared cuts and meals are great time-savers as well. My favorites are the Hangar steak and diced chicken breast and thighs. service is always great and the place is clean and spotless. Wild fork even offers same day delivery.

First time at Wild Fork and I'll definitely be back for some exotic meats and things! Customer service was friendly for the most part. It's cool on the inside and very bright. Everything is organized and they have a large variety of items.

The selection of meats are diverse and very organized. Staff is highly knowledgeable and can educate you as needed. In Saturdays they do tastings and have BBQs free of charge. The chef this week was from Miami and the carne Asada was absolutely amazing and free. Only con I would say is the narrow parking spaces.

What a wonderful place! This place is so beautifully organized and clean! The departments are clearly layed out and they have lots of sides and appetizers, frozen herbs, desserts, it's so awesome! I bought a few things to try and I had the sockeye salmon tonight. It was pretty decent for a frozen salmon. It defrosted very quickly in the Cold water and I was able to make it for dinner tonight. I took one star off because although the employee was very nice, he was not very knowledgeable about the spices. I wanted to get one for the salmon, but he mentioned that he did not eat seafood so that he didn't know. I thought to myself, you should probably know what's good on what if you're working in aplace that sells a lot of different types of meats. He didn't really seem that he was super interested either. I also asked if there was a restroom there because I wanted to wash my toddler's hands and he said it was out of order. Two minor strikes for me! Otherwise, I will be back soon and try the curbside!

I've been wanting to visit Wild Fork for a while and I finally made it happen! The store had just about any type of meat you could imagine. It's a great source for meal prepping as everything needed to create a full meal is there. Even down to dessert! The prices were super reasonable as there were many items that were comparable to or cheaper than larger supermarkets. The store was very well organized and stocked. The employees were super nice and helpful as they made suggestions for meal ideas I could consider. The only downside was the super small parking lot. It seems as if there are spaces for about 10 cars which isn't good for busy times. Beyond this, I definitely plan to visit again to pick up some meal staples for when I want to get creative in the kitchen.

My husband and I love wild fork so much! They have really incredible cuts of meat, fresh seafood, and even have fruits and vegetables! The Yelp Elite Event highlighted how great the selections are by featuring a lot of different and delicious products. If you ever have a chance to stop by, do it! They just opened good pour right next door too, so you can knock a couple of things of your list at the same time

Chef Ken @myplatesondeck serving 2 great items. Chicken sliders with slaw and a tangy sauce. Shrimp mini tacos. Both very good!!

Offering a complete line of proteins portioned. Includes varietals of meats, poultry and seafood. Domestic and imported. Great quality lines. They also offer side dishes and veggies as well as fruits. They even offer frozen easy to serve sauces. Way too many items to tell about. Very clean retail store atmosphere. Very friendly staff and management. I attended an event sponsored by Yelp. A great way to connect with others. Dishes prepared are actual items sold in the store. Brilliant idea to build business. Even met one of the chefs preparing a chicken slider and shrimp mini tacos. Both had great flavor. Chef Ken James and his team were very friendly and culinary savvy about the items being served. @myplatesondeck great presentations. The pit master cooked the outside skirts, chicken and ribs to perfection. See photos below. Thank you Yelp and Wild Forks for a great get together.

Complimentary cocktails from Good Pour, which is right next store. Perfect for picking up dinner and a drink for a cozy date night.

Incredibly disappointed in the TLB. I've been a fan for a long time, especially their dry aged…read moremeats, and am more than willing to pay for this type of product. Today, though, I noticed them selling Japanese Wagyu as: Sake Infused Dry Aged A9 Kobe Strip. This is a very scammy way of selling a product. First, meat is graded broadly on three scales - USDA (choice, prime), BMS (beef marbling scale - common in Aus), and the Japanese grading scale. (A1-A5, with most high end steaks being A4 or the gold standard, A5). https://meatnbone.com/blogs/the-clever-cleaver/meat-beef-grading-system-understanding A9 doesn't exist. A BMS 9 could be an A5. But this is mislabeled. They have also used the term A11 in their instagram account. Maybe they are confusing BMS for A-scale, or maybe they are intentionally trying to make their product seem better than competitors. Furthermore, not all Japanese Wagyu is Kobe beef. Kobe beef refers to Tajima cattle raised in Hyogo Japan. The export of this beef is highly regulated to only certain restaurants and purveyors, who will display a seal and certificate certifying the origin of the beef. It is rare, expensive, and most importantly, Bush Brothers (Local Butcher's wholesale purveyor) is not certified to sell, nor do they use in any way, the term Kobe Beef. So it is incredibly likely that this product is mislabeled. This isn't illegal (Kobe beef doesn't have a TM in the US), but it is disingenuous. https://www.kobe-niku.jp/en/contents/certification/index.html https://instagram.com/bushbros Next, "sake infused"is incredibly confusing. Is it referring to the myth that Kobe cattle are massaged with sake? Is it referred to the use of koji (fermented cooked rice) which is often used as an aging accelerant? Or did they really take Japanese Wagyu and infuse (inject, soak?) with sake? And why on earth would you do that!? It would be like making sangria with a bottle of DRC. This product is likely a A5 strip loin (which Bush Bros. does carry) that has been aged. Market price would be somewhere around $175-185/lb. (An unaged cut would be around $150/lb.) When I asked for more information on the most expensive cut of meat in their shop, I was treated with disdain and a dismissive attitude. Neither member of the staff could answer my questions other than to say "It's the highest grade of Kobe beef." To charge $215 dollars for a grade that doesn't exist, for a steak that isn't from Kobe, with an aging method that seems dubious at best, is disingenuous and plays on a lack of consumer knowledge. If The Local Butcher themselves don't know the differences here, they shouldn't sell this product. If they do, they should be ashamed of themselves.

If you're looking for meat in Winter Park, this is the place to go. They have a very wide selection…read moreof everything, including specialty cuts you may not find at your local grocery store. It is a little pricey but you get what you pay for.
