We have been enjoying Wild Eggs for years as our go to place every Sunday after church, but this is the first review. Today we enjoyed another delicious breakfast. Becky had Pecan Pancakes and Robert had French Toast, both with a side of bacon. If you haven't had the opportunity to enjoy Wild Eggs either for Breakfast or lunch you need to give them a try and see what you have been missing. Thanks Natalie for the awesome service as usual. read more

Kelsey Ky Brown was delicious. Good almond milk cappuccino. Great service. Nice outdoor seating in Westport Village area. Will be back!

Quick lunch. Usually want the breakfast here but I tried the taco salad for lunch. Not disappointed on that meal. It was delicious and fulfilling. Large portion with shredded chicken. Best taco salad I've had in a while! The wild egg is alway here to impress! 5 stars for you keep doing what your doing! Happy belly EVAN and keep doing what your doing. Waiter was prompted and happy with his suggestion. read more

This place is always busy and there is always a long wait! Guess that means it's good! My favorite is the mr potato head casserole. It's mind blowing! It's the epitome of comfort food! The service usually isn't great but the food is what keeps us coming back. If you have some time to spare give this place a try. The menu is pretty fun! read more

Been here for breakfast so many times and each visit my breakfast is served to perfection. Food and service always 5 stars!

Why would anyone want eggs Benedict with a scrambled egg? The least you could do would be ask instead of assume I wanted scrambled eggs on eggs Benedict. The menu said poached eggs. Why are mine scrambled. Update: Had food remade and was served the most overcooked poached egg of my life atop of soaking wet English muffin. Why in the hell would the English muffin be sopping wet? The food from this experience is truly what horrific intrusive thoughts are made of. read more

This place is expensive, but the food is amazing. I love the orange juice and the chicken and waffles. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I've never had a bad experience here. read more

Luckily this place is four states away, or else I would need a bigger belt. There are virtually no diners in Kentucky, but when you taste the homemade goodness of Wild Eggs you won't miss them one bit. Followed Yelp! reviews here on a weekend trip and was not disappointed. Had the Biscuts with Gravy, the ham grits and the Kalamity Kate's Boarder Benedict. Everything was spot on delisious. My wife had the Hot Brown Eggs and they were one of the best Mornay Sauces of our trip. I can see why this place get such rave reviews. I wish I had Lunch here as well. With 3 locations this place is a must on any trip to Louisville, and this location shares a parking lot with another Lousville highlight, The Comfy Cow. read more

Love them(I say them since I've been to 2 of their locations, both legit)! Probably my favorite breakfast spot thus far. It's good to have a trusted spot for breakfast and this is for sure. Menu is awesome, options are awesome. Love the fact they give you a little pitcher of water and coffee pot, those 2 things had me sold on the place immediately. Well thought out! read more

We love Wild Eggs! Everything is always cooked correctly and tastes so delicious. I typically order several sides and make them my meal. I'm vegetarian and still have luck here! I usually split a pancake with my husband and it is plenty for the both of us. My only complaint is their drink choices - they only offer 3 sodas! Coke, Diet Coke & sprite I believe. You can always opt for a chocolate milk or OJ! read more

Perfect breakfast spot. Bright and clean interior is a great wake up atmosphere. Lots of tables, booths and even a circular counter. The reception was friendly right at their 7am opening. Waitress was excellent. Kind, polite and efficient. They bring a pitcher of lemon water for the table and a carafe of coffee if you order coffee. Nice to always have s full glass and mug. Food was quick. Food quality is good, tastes fresh. Pretty much your basic breakfast diner dishes. read more

Solid breakfast and brunch spot, especially if you like eggs Benedict, they have several variations and they actually know how to properly poach an egg! The staff is always friendly, their coffee is good and you get your own fresh brewed mini pot right at the table. Also, they have fresh-squeezed orange juice, which is the best way to drink your orange juice, IMO. If you're looking for something a little different, the breakfast nachos are quite good also. read more

Wild eggs is one of the best breakfast/ brunch places in the world. It really is. They have this savory breakfast muffin called the " everything muffin" which is made with butter, garlic, poppy seeds, cheese and crack cocaine. Actually, it may not contain crack cocaine, I should not claim it does, but it has some sort of insane, addictive substance in it that will make you think about these muffins for every minute, for every day, for the rest of your life. These muffins are the muffin. If you were to have a muffin showdown with this muffin and another muffin, this muffin would win and make that other muffin cry. A lot. I would go have this muffin every single day but some other jerks also love these muffins so at Wild Eggs you have to wait for 40 minutes to get a table and in that time: Someone will run over your foot with a stroller. Some lady will turn quickly, hitting you in the face with her Louis Vuitton bag. Some old guy will speak too loudly about his friend with prostate issues. You will see other diners enjoying YOUR muffin while you wait to be seated. But then you will finally get a table and they bring you a nice pitcher of water with lemons and you can order your Farmers market omlette with your Everything muffin and a bloody Mary. The stuffed French toast is also Amazingly good. And then if you are with your son he will order a side of bacon AND a side of sausage and when the check comes your son will proclaim he wants MORE bacon. So when the waitress returns your credit card she will give him a to-go box filled with bacon. At no charge. How lovely is that? You can also purchase an everything muffin to go. Not that I would know anything about that. read more

Wild Eggs is, in a word, FANTASTIC. We were told by someone that THE PLACE to go for breakfast in Louisville is Wild Eggs. Following that lead, we visited the one nearest where we live on a Saturday morning for breakfast. The word "fantastic" was exactly what it ended up being. The menu is large and varied, giving a spin on some old classics (chorizo biscuits and gravy!) as well as some very good original creations. The menu isn't limited to breakfast, as they also have some lunch sandwiches. They're not afraid of heat, if you're inclined to order something on the spicy side. The restaurant is brightly colored, and everyone from the servers to the people busing the tables are in constant motion, keeping the customer flow (and the food) moving. A word of advice: Unless you get there early, be prepared for a wait. Their "time to be seated" estimates are usually pretty accurate, but expect about a 30 minute wait. Do yourself (and your tummy) a favor and visit Wild Eggs. Your tummy will love you for it. read more

I love me some breakfast. Nothing is better than a good, simple breakfast done up right. Wild Eggs does it up right, folks. From the deliciously interesting "everything muffin" to the endless omelet options, everything on the menu is great. And the orange juice. Oh, the orange juice. This stuff is amazing, people. Fresh squeezed (not like any fresh squeezed you've ever had). The menu isn't especially innovative. Nor is it something you'd fine in a "fine" dining establishment. But they do it right, with fresh ingredients. I always get something different and have never left dissatisfied. If you visit on a Saturday or Sunday morning, expect a wait (this goes for any location). But once the food arrives at your table, it's well worth it. The staff is always prompt, attentive, and armed with fresh cracked black pepper. read more

Great experience. Great service. Great customer service. Would recommend this place. I'm an out of towner and couldn't have found a better place, welcoming from start to finish. Everyone strikes up a conversation and cares. Lots of hard working individuals. The gentleman that chatted with us towards the end - I believe the manager, was doing just about anything and everything needed. Little things make a huge difference. Highly recommended. read more

Took me a long time to make it out to one of the many Wild Eggs locations, and met with a couple of work colleagues for brunch today at the Herr Lane location. I'd heard pretty good things about the restaurant and think its a pretty good place for breakfast and lunch. Service was good, as was the food. I wouldn't say the food is incredible, but I think its pretty good (I'd much prefer Blue Dog for example.) The menu is pretty extensive with a large variety of breakfast and lunch options with of course a lot of egg based dishes. I should note that if you are a breakfast place you should definitely have pretty good coffee, and the (drip) coffee here is good. read more

All I can say is yum! Service was great and the food was even better. Next time I go, I am going to make sure to get a Bloody Mary too

Loved this place.. it obviously gets crazy busy on weekend mornings but if you get there early you can score a table with no problem. Cute little outdoor patio if you want to get some fresh air while clogging your arteries with a cinnamon roll! I went on a Saturday with three other women and we all loved our choices. Fresh ingredients, so many choices it was hard to just choose one. I had an omelette and several bites of my mom's pancakes. We still had leftovers of each and they were nicely packaged in a plastic to go container with plastic utensils when asked. Everything was equally as good the second day. Definitely a hit and I'd go back in a heartbeat. read more

4.5 stars is about right. Nothing here is all that inventive or nouveau (and I'm still mourning the loss of their King Would Eat These pancakes with the world's best peanut butter syrup... Although occasionally if you ask nicely they will still give you the peanut butter syrup). But the food is class comfort food, done perfectly every time. I find the wait is often 15-30 minutes even during relatively off-peak hours (i.e., 9am). But it's worth it. I've genuinely had nothing bad there, although the classic French toast is very basic. The chicken and waffles is great and comes with fantastic sauce and buttermilk syrup. The cinnamon roll is good and enough to feed two. The everything muffins are much-beloved, the pancakes are light and fluffy. Overall, not a "foodie must go" but definitely a great place to grab some breakfast. read more

One of my favorite brunch places! The service is always great, timely and true to your order. There's generally a wait on weekends, but with the shops and places around, the location makes the time fly by! Great menu selection, something for everyone. read more

Food was amazing. Server was patient and kind--answered all of our questions. My sister and I split the chicken & waffles and the Tex Mex- like eggs Benedict. Both dishes were very flavorful. Portion sizes were ok. The kitchen even split our dishes for us. The buttermilk syrup for the chicken and waffles was so good! Truly brought out the flavor of the dish. The mimosas are somewhat expensive, considering the type of establishment ($8 per glass)--so it's best to get a carafe if you have enough people. We split a carafe ($24) three ways and ended up with 3 glasses each, so we definitely got our money's worth that way. Very tasty. We got the grand mimosa, which was mixed with Grand Marnier--same price as the regular mimosas and very strong. Be careful! Lol The decor is so cute. Nice ambiance. I usually don't like to eat out for breakfast because I make bomb breakfast myself and restaurant breakfast isn't so flavor. This place has made me change my mind. read more

Wild eggs is the perfect brunch spot. There's nothing better than getting a Mr. potato head casserole and a bloody Mary. Everything I've tried from their menu has been exceptional. The staff is friendly very courteous and helpful. The prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable. Wild eggs is one of my go to restaurants when I have guests visiting from out of town. If you haven't tried them yet you owe it to yourself to do so. If I could rate them six stars or more than I would because they deserve all of it. Bravo! read more

Wild eggs has some exotic recipes for eggs that are novel and tasty. I would recommend it for special occasions. It is a little pricey for everyday meals. read more

Best breakfast spot in Louisville (maybe the world). But Wild Eggs, please bring back the vegetarian mushroom burger!!!

I couldn't decide what to order since many of the menu options were appealing. I asked the server for a recommendation and i was not disappointed. I had the yellow submarine and i was presently surprised how well the ingredients came together. My wife chose the strawberry mountain and that was a heaping serving of delicious pancakes and strawberries. W will definitely come back and we look forward to trying other great options from the menu. read more

All good, but bring back the original menu item, Egg salad sandwich. Make the printed menu more readable. The operation at Westport Plaza is better than other Louisville locations. The Canadian bacon on the eggs Benedict was cut so thin it was hard to chew. Needs to be like it used by to be. Chewable and tasty. Wait staff was very good. read more

I am a real big brunch lover and a good chicken and waffles is one way to my heart or just a giant waffle with some chocolate chips. I really love Wild Eggs. The food is always delicious, the coffee good, and one location is very conveniently located just around the corner from me. This makes it a bit dangerous being so close, but I love it all at the same time. As a single individual the one thing I love about this place is the fact they have a breakfast bar. I can go sit here by myself and it doesn't feel super weird or awkward. It is also the location closest to the big screen TV they have. The TV always seems to be on one of the ESPN channels, which is fine by me. Not sure if everyone loves that aspect or not, but during college football season this is a very nice perk. The atmosphere here is very friendly and I enjoy going with my friend when I do get the chance. They do get quite busy on the weekends, so the earlier you go the quicker you can get in. read more

I asked for the Gluten Free menu, and I ordered from it a Reuben sandwich. When I received the bill, I didn't see any extra charge for the gluten free bread. I asked the waiter what happened, and he told me that he didn't give me a gluten free bread. I can't eat wheat , I had a very bad afternoon because of his negligence. Please put more attention! read more

It was okay. Our server was extremely nice, but food was so-so. I had stuffed French toast, and my husband had an omelette. Mine was overly sweet, and my husband's was too salty. But, a nice bonus- they've got coffee up front in their waiting area that you're able to drink while you're waiting! read more

Just all around terrible customer service. Was told there would be a 15 minute wait to be seated and waited over an hour. Would have gone elsewhere if they had been more accurate. Then waited an hour after ordering and still did not receive food. Also, they are doing a terrible job distancing and sanitizing for Covid purposes. Had a lot of time to look around as we just waited there and tables were barely being wiped down, condiments were shared without being sanitized. Would not recommend at all. read more

I like this location and the one out English Station best. (I am done with Dutchman's - but that is another review!) My favorite is the Calamity Kate and my kids always get the pancakes.
