They've got tasty boba drinks. My kids like these drinks like the sweet snow and milk tea. Only criticism is that the place often takes strange breaks when it is temporarily closed for about one -two hours. In recent memory my kids and I have tried to go get some drinks, but have seen the sign that they'll be back around 2 hours. And no, we don't go come here at lunch time. We tried both times unsuccessfully in the afternoon around 3 - 5pm. Probably short staffed. So we can sympathize! read more

What a great little FroYo/Boba shop! Every flavor was delicious! Lots of toppings to choose from. Try peach FroYo topped with mango and coconut or pistachio with lychee. Ok, maybe lychee is not foryou, but it's nice to have the option. Nice clean little dining room with a combination of high tables and regular, which is a relief for us vertically challenged folks. What a terrible experience! The fellow at the counter was not welcoming or interested in us when we walked in. We had to ask what the procedure was. The yogurt was runny so I poured it out and it got better on the next try. I went to get hot fudge and it sprayed on my dress. He came over and worked on it and said he fixed it. I went to try and it exploded all over my dress and my arms. He told me there was a restroom. No apology or anything. I discarded the yogurt and went to the restroom where I couldn't get the stains out of my clothes. I washed my arms. When I got back my husband was paying for his yogurt. I said I can't believe you are making him pay after my dress being ruined. He never said I'm sorry or your yogurt is on me. My husband said the yogurt was not worth the money. Was randomly browsing Yelp and discovered a place in Thousand Oaks that purported to have milk tea boba. Within 30 minutes, my husband and I walked through the door to verify this outlandish claim. It's true! We both had milk tea with boba...they have smoothies and all different flavors, but I like to stick to the basics. The milk tea was flavorful and not too sweet, and the boba was impressive. Tasted vaguely of honey, not too soft, not too chewy. Ignorance was certainly not bliss...so happy to have discovered that Wild Cherry exists! I'll be back, very soon. read more

Ugh. I'm pretty sure this place is about to go full death rattle. Stopped by here because I was really jonesing for some froyo. After trying to stop by Menchies and not feeling like fighting the crowds through a major rainstorm, this seemed like a better option. In retrospect, I should have just fought it out for a parking spot at Menchie's. First off, nobody was there to greet us when we walked in. In fact, we were there for a good 5 minutes deciding on flavors and toppings before anyone showed up at the front. No sample cups to be found, even though a sign by the register said to ask for them. Ask who? The invisible person at the front counter? Then, the yogurt. There are 12 flavors to choose from. I started with yellow birthday cake, which just came out as liquid. Thinking that maybe it just hadn't been used for a while, I pulled down on the handle and tried it again. Again, soup. Ugh. Threw that cup out and got a new one. I got pistachio, banana, cookies and cream, and dark chocolate. The only yogurt with the right consistency was the dark chocolate. It's almost like the owners set the thermostat on the machines to be warmer than usual, because running the machines all the time was too expensive. Then I moved onto the toppings. So, they have a standard selection of toppings, but most of it looked way old. None of the fruit was fresh, or it was just canned fruit cut into smaller pieces. The cookie dough pellets were wayyyyy old. Like, dried out, and browed on the edges. My boyfriend tried to pump some chocolate topping onto his yogurt and the container was empty. He picked it up and shook it, thinking maybe there was some on the bottom he could pump. Not. Even. Close. That bottle had been empty for days. So he said to the kid working in front: Boyfriend: "You're out of chocolate syrup." Kid: "Uh. Yeah I guess." Boyfriend: "Do you have any more in the back?" Kid: "No......" Okay then. I guess I'll just go eff myself. We paid our tab and left. Tried the yogurt. Banana was weird and bitter. Pistachio smelled better than it tasted. Cookies and cream was ok. Double chocolate was good. Verdict: While you won't necessarily leave Wild Cherry disappointed (should you take the time to get there) and you will have paid a very fair price, the selection and quality of yogurt is lacking when compared to some of the local competition. It seems as though in the last few years a plethora of Frozen Yogurt shops have cropped up in the Agoura / Westlake / Oaks area, and to avoid having to go thru the rigamarole of deciding which one to go to on a given night, I instead decided to set aside two days to try them all. Yes, yes, I know, it's a painful job, but someone needs to do it. Additionally, I decided to deviate from my standard five-star system and bring in a whole new set of categories for the frozen yogurt shops in the area: Star 1 - How was the atmosphere? With the sole exception of Westlake Village's Yozen Frogurt, which literally resembles an upscale restaurant on the inside, Wild Cherry is no different from much of the competition. Star Granted. Star 2 - How were the prices? At $0.36 per oz., Wild Cherry has the second best prices in the area, behind only Yogurtland. While Wild Cherry is quite a ways further off of the 101 than Yogurtland, $0.36 does deserve some recognition. Here's how the competition stacks up: Yogurtland: $0.33 Yozen Frogurt: $0.38 Lotus Yogurt Bar: $0.39 Menchie's: $0.41 Golden Spoon: $0.41 Star Granted. Stars 3/4 - How was the Yogurt and Topping Selection? With only 12 flavors available, Wild Cherry is merely average when it comes to a comparison with the competitors: Yozen Frogurt: 16 Yogurtland: 16 Menchie's: 12 Lotus Yogurt Bar: 12 Golden Spoon: 11 That having been said, I suppose Wild Cherry does deserve some recognition for having (or at least advertising) a range of gluten-free options. Additionally, with a semi-decent combination of basic flavors and more unique options such as "Yellow Cake", there was just enough diversity to keep me interested. As far as toppings go, with 28 Candy/Cookie toppings, 6 fruit toppings and 4 sauces, Wild Cherry has a solid enough lineup to warrant a star. Star Granted. Star 5 - How was the Yogurt? While Wild Cherry advertises their yogurt as "Italian" (eh?), the taste is far from what you'd find in Europe's boot. While Yellow Cake was admittedly brilliant, the Dark Chocolate, Vanilla and Cookies and Cream were all mediocre at best, and had the watery consistency that I've found is commonplace is just about all FroYo outside of Yogurtland and Golden Spoon. Wow, we just happened to come here after the girls' Dr check up the other day. The flavors are amazing!! We met the owner Sue and she is just super nice! The flavors I got were Yellow Cake and Chocolate Fudge. The Yellow Cake was awesome!! Never had this flavor before. It really taste just like the yellow cake. The Chocolate Fudge to me tastes like the frozen Fudgesicle but better, maybe a cross between Fudgesicle and 31 Flavors Chocolate Fudge ice cream but without the guilt. Hubby had the Yellow Cake (which he recommended) and the Peanut Butter. He liked both flavors. They also a lot of toppings and fresh fruits. Can't wait to try the Camarillo one which is closer to us. I come here a lot actually- at least once a week. I love their tart and cherry tart yogurt. It's really some of the best tart around!!! I have tried some other flavors though and, I can agree with the other reviewers that said it felt warm and kinda grossly soft. I stick to the tart so it doesn't bother me much. What really drives me nuts about this place is that they seem a bit cheap. The sample cups are hidden behind the register so you have to ask for one and, if you're really lucky, they might give you 2. Most of the time you get only one and have to ask if you want another, to which they reluctantly oblige. On top of that, their punch rewards card is kind of ridiculous. You get one stamp for every visit and then after you fill your card, you get 20% off. That just seems a little cheap when I'm buying a $5-7 yogurt and then once I've filled my card I get a whooping $1- $1.30 discount. Words of advice: 1) spend a few extra dollars to give the customers a couple sample cups without having to ask. 2) make your yogurt frozen, instead of soupy 3) maybe offer a 50% loyalty discount to make me feel like I'm actually being rewarded 4) bring back the fruity pebbles topping please!! read more

Cool spot to bring your kids. Avoid around 3-4 o'clock though unless you like being surrounded by teenagers. We usually come after dinner and it's quieter. My kids enjoy making their own yogurt. Wild Cherry's frozen yogurt tastes good. Some yogurt places have flavors that taste like chemicals--faux flavors--not here. The tart cherry is my favorite, although they don't always have it, which is weird since that's their namesake. I also like banana, and I don't normally like banana flavor. I always find that this place is really rather dirty when we have come in. We continue to keep coming here because it's so close, but it's never in really clean condition. My other issue is we always see kids taking their taster cups to the machines, eat of of them, and then refill them while touching the dispensers. Kinda of gross germ wise. Today i went into this location and it was terrible. First off , I ordered 2 shakes with NO boba, and we notice that he put boba in it as he started to pour the shakes, so my boyfriend goes to tell him that we order no boba and the worker responds with "all of our shakes come with boba" so i told him that I was there the previous day and it was no issue to have no boba in it. Instead of remaking the drink, he poured as much of the shake back into the blender as he could without the boba , took the boba out , and poured it back in the cup, still leaving boba in it. SECOND, their shakes come with a sealed cap meaning that nothing will get in it , and i get half way through my drink and realize that there is a hair in it.
