After a week of fresh poke, seared ahi, and enough limu to start a reef, the children revolted. They wanted pizza. Plain, glorious pizza. So we followed their cravings to Wiki Pizza in Princeville, where the promise of melted cheese and chewy crust offered a brief yet necessary detour from our seafood odyssey. The wait, as expected, was island-long. But no matter--this was not our first luau. The kids wandered off to explore nearby jungle paths and decorative koi ponds while the grown-ups made a strategic retreat to Happy Talk next door, where bartender JJ--part mixologist, part legend--kept spirits high and beers cold. A round of coconut porters and IPAs later, our table at Wiki was ready, and we returned with anticipation in our eyes and hunger in our souls. The host was wonderfully accommodating, especially given our large and occasionally disorganized party. That's when we were informed: no large pizzas today. No problem. We're flexible. Hungry, yes, but not unreasonable. We placed our order--salads, a couple of medium pies, joy on the horizon. Then came the salads... and the news that there were no forks. Interesting, we thought. Not ideal, but also not the worst thing we've experienced at mealtime. So we adapted--tore lettuce with our fingers like gentle predators in a botanical garden. At last, forks arrived. Not bitter. Just amused. And then came the pizzas. Delicious. Crisp crust, great sauce, toppings evenly distributed with the care of a pizza artisan who has seen things. It was everything the children dreamed of and everything the adults needed. As for the wait staff--decent and friendly. One waiter mentioned he was from Mexico. I responded in Spanish. He smiled, nodded. I continued. He smiled, nodded. I paused. He blinked. We moved on. Perhaps my accent is more Andalusian than anticipated. We ordered the deep dish pizza tonight and it was amazing. Thick, light crust with a crunch around the edges. Red sauce had excellent flavor as did the cheeses they use. Lots of fresh basil. We added Italian sausage which made it even more savory. They also keep the take out pizzas warm until you pick it up. As a pizza connoisseur, I give this a 10 out of 10. read more

Just a horrible experience on every level. The water has a really weird taste to it, our drinks came out the same time as our food (an hour after ordering it) and only half the drinks came, the manager or guy in charge seemed super stressed out and was rude, we did not see our waitress one time after we ordered, they came to our table three times and asked us if we ordered food that we did not order, there was pizza boxes on a lot of the tables and other tables that were not cleared. 160 dollars for two pizzas, a salad, mozzarella sticks, 2 lemonades and a glass of wine mixed with an overall bad experience. Just seems a bit like this place had fallen off hard and the business model was lost since our previous visit here two years ago. We will not return. read more

The first sign something was wrong was when they handed me the fresh pizza right out the kitchen but the bottom of the box wasn't piping hot, it was so my medium warm... anyway, only had 1 mile to drive. Got back to the house and it seemed like our pizza's had been sitting around in the kitchen for at least 5-10 mins... On top of that the pizza were completely average... no way this is the best pizza on the island... we had better up the road at B's and from the silver stream up at the putt putt place. Great pizza. We ordered the Tuscan and Meat Lovers Calzone. First, the calzone was huge. My bf thought he was going to eat it himself but it's enough for four servings. The Twas delicious. Even reheated the leftover and took them to the airport for snacks on our way home. Only downside is you can't order half-half pizzas and everything is done online so no person to ask questions to. I think it's important to note that I am a born and raised New Yorker and know good pizza. My husband and I found this place on Yelp, on a whim, when everything else around was closed. Food was Great!! Our server, Merari, was unbelievably on top of things, once she got around to us, being overwhelmed with the fact that she was the only wait-person for a full house of customers! Wikipizza is located in the Hanalei Bay Resort. All you have to do if you want take out is order online, drive to the lobby area and walk in to pick up your food. This is what we did. However, when I walked in, I wished we had stayed there to eat. It is a beautiful open air space right next to Hanalei Bay and the view was awesome. We ordered two medium pizzas, a pepperoni and The Rock, along with garlic knots and a side of Wiki Ranch. The ranch is not your normal ranch, but it is great with the garlic knots. It has a hint of dill in it which may sound odd, but try it! The Rock pizza had pepperoni, sausage, bacon and big spots of ricotta cheese on top! The ricotta cheese made a normal meat pizza much better. You can choose from a thinner crust or the thicker pan style. The pan pizzas were more expensive than thin and the pizzas only come in medium and large sizes. The service when I picked up the pizza was fine. My food was ready, paid for online, and the server had it waiting in a hot case. I'd eat Wikipizza again anytime, but I'd eat at the resort next time to take advantage of the views! read more

The quality of this pizza is poor. They use a weird cheese combo and their marinara isn't that good. We each ate a couple pieces and threw the rest out. The food is very good and the atmosphere is stunningly beautiful. The Italian salads were wonderful and the Rock pizza with fresh ricotta was so yummy. They serve only wine and beer, so don't be fooled by the liquor bottles behind the defunct bar. Our servers were pleasant and helpful if sometimes a bit scattered. A nearby table ordered the Sicilian pizza and that looked incredible! The views are so amazing that needing to take your time and wait for your food makes it all worthwhile. -note- on our visit the seating was very limited. I feel like my bar for good pizza is pretty high having grown up NY. Wikipizza isn't just good pizza for Hawaii - Wikipizza is good pizza by any standards. We got pickup cause so many reviews said the place was under construction (and the $45 for parking). For pickup they just let you pull over and park for free. Tried four pizzas: Quattro Fromaggi was sooooo good. I will continue to think about this pizza. Big hit with all ages. And a good looking pizza (pretty instagramable if that is your thing). Second favorite: the Shaka Shaka. Those jalapenos have a kick! And I love it. Also got the Garden Isle and a Pepperoni- both very good as well. If I have one critique some of the crusts could have been crispier (not exactly soggy bottoms but a slightly sturdier underside would be nice). But I still wish this pizza was closer to home. Ambiance is absolutely beautiful. As you enter the Hanalei Bay Resort, there are amazing seating areas with Fire and Water surrounding. After going through main entrance turn left and WikiPizza is right there. Open air dining with many tables facing the outdoors. We arrived after sunset and could make out the last light of the day edging around the Na Pali cliffs in the distance. The property is lit with tiki torches with pathways winding around water features. We ordered a Maui coconut porter, garlic knots and a cheese pizza. Best pizza on the island so far. Compared to pizza near home, it would be a 3 star but Kauai has had very mediocre food overall. Feels like the island, particularly north shore values ambiance and aesthetics over good food. This place hits the mark for looks and the food was actually decent. $50 for two people to eat which seems the norm no matter where we stop. It's become a joke, but actually when whether we pick up donuts, breakfast, food carts, you name it...$50. Place is short staffed and they have a sign warning as such. Yet I feel like the team hustled and once our order was taken, the food came out very fast. We walked from our condo rental. Parking appeared to be valet only. read more

We were looking for a dinner option when 1Kitchen werent taking any reservations and stumbled on this place. Its inside teh hanalei bay resort. We got two pizzas, both vegetarian. hawaian without the ham and an onion one. They both were excel]lent. Infact we ate the left over for breakfast. A good pizza may not need heating and should be able to be eaten right out of the refrigerator. The pizza was a thin one and not excesively cheesy. The cost is a little high but then its on the island and probably the only local item is some of the produce. You'll surely not be disappointed if you eat here or take out from here. read more

Read some interesting reviews and after arrival we saw why! It's kind of a "makeshift" restaurant in an amazing location with incredible views!! We arrived at almost sunset so the line to be seated was very long and maybe not the most organized. Several people around us just walked away. We were starving and almost ordered to go instead (there were a LOT of pick up orders while we were in line) until a gentleman walked past us and said "it's so worth the wait." Thankfully we waited ! We've had pizza all over the world- it's our favorite food group. This was insanely good and up there close to fantastic New York pizza! We started with garlic knots. And then ordered a pretty standard pepperoni and Italian sausage that we waited for while the sun set in the bay right in front of our eyes. The pizza was really good but I was shocked at the bill. The large would def feed more than 2-4 people. We ordered 2 large and 1 medium for 5 people so it was A LOT of food! The bill has gratuity added on for pickup but that was not specified and the checkout had the option for a tip also. We really liked the Shaka Shaka. read more
