The restaurant itself is beautiful, with an incredible setting and amazing views, especially around sunset. That said, it feels like the space has not been kept up as well as it could be. Some of the seats were ripped, drinks were served in plastic cups, and a few details gave it a more casual feel than you would expect from such an upscale looking restaurant. Even the focus on pizza was a little surprising. It feels like this may have been more of a high end steakhouse or fine dining restaurant at one point. Still, we were happy we tried it. Pizza is a great option for a family because it is easy to share, and the pizza itself was very good. The service was friendly as well. We also ordered an Italian salad, which was pretty basic and uninspired, mostly lettuce with a few ingredients tossed together. The prices felt a little high for what you get, but not unreasonable considering you are in Kauai with such a beautiful view. Overall, this is a great spot for a relatively affordable dinner with an amazing sunset. The pizza is definitely good, not mind blowing, but a clear step up from your average grocery store pizza.

I went with the Garlic Butter Shrimp Plate. The shrimp doesn't come shelled which is fine as it just reminds me of when my dad and grandmother would make shrimp The garlic butter was so good and lived that it mixed into the rice. The greens were good as well. Only downfall when peeling the shrimp is that you are with happy cause it was worth it or you are disappointed. The shrimp had such a nice texture and flavor I could tell they were great quality. The spicy garlic sauce was definitely the best I've had. So much flavor and with just a bit of kick to complement the umami shrimp. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Kauai and will come earlier just in case they sell out!

She uses fresh local ingredients with a style that is bold in her use of spices and herbs, many of which come from her garden. Our first night we selected off of her Hawaiian Pacific menu, starting with her Ahi Bruschetta with an avocado mouse and her Purple Sweet Potato galettes, then a Farm Fresh Salad to lead into the entrees of Steak and MahiMahi with grilled veggies and an amazing Cauliflower done two ways. Matcha Brownies with Haupia ice cream and a black salt sprinkle brought it all home! The following dinner stepped the flavors even more over the top as we enjoyed her Mediterranean menu. We started with an incredible Mezzo platter including delicious hummus and the freshest, most flavorful feta I have ever had. The menu progressed to include a beautiful salt crusted Red Snapper (see Pix) and concluded with an awesome Strawberry Rose Coconut Cheesecake. Our family has a wide range of tastes and includes some serious foodies (two live in San Francisco and dine out multiple times a week) and all were blown away.
