Not giving any stars! This is the worst we have ever been treated by a dealership! Purchased a Used car from them. Salesman was great, the finance department horrible. We have excellent credit and multiple credit reports were run. We thought all was good, papers signed, over month later we find out It wasn't even financed and not ours due to address issues. We should have been Informed about this over a month ago and cold have been corrected.. Against our better judgement we kept the car and had to do all over again. Talked to manager David about it and he was less simpathic about it. I certainly tell will tell everyone about this experience! Don't learn the hard way like we did. Had a great experience once in 2012 but yet didn't ever make it back in for service even though they're closer. Last week I go in to have my TPMS sensor looked at after getting a tire patched down the street when it went flat on my way to work. The light wouldn't go off 3 days later so I drove to Wiesner to get it looked at. After 90 min the tech brings me out to where my car is raised up and begins to tell me that the TPMS is fine but I have a nail in a different tire and this is why the light is on. He then begins to pitch the idea of 2 new rear tires and I decline since I've only had my Michelins (which they don't carry) for 27k miles or so. I leave and go get the nail removed. They pull it off its not even thru the tread so I go on my way. Today (a week later) I go get a second opinion from Costco clearly thinking they'll try to sell me new tires also, not the case! They tell me my tires are at 7/32's and I don't need new ones but they replace one under road hazard cause its leaking a little near the side wall. After they finish they notice my TPMS light is on. I tell them the story about the rear tire and they offer to look at it. Come to find out it WAS damaged and taped back on. Shouldn't Wiesner have caught this when I asked them to check? I call and get the same tech and all I get is excuses about why they didn't check it, how it wouldn't have been coveted under warranty, etc etc. Who said I expected it free? I think he truly was at a loss for words. Why would I ever go back there? I'll drive the extra 25 minutes and give my business to North Freeway Hyundai or any other after this BS. Do what you're asked, I would've paid for the work! Now they've lost me as a customer! read more

David McGuffin is by far the best salesperson. He helped me find a pre-owned car. It took time but he found what I had requested and never pressured me. He is a new car salesperson but with my budget he found me what I dreamed of in pre-owned. He never made me feel inadequate for what I was looking for. He never pushed me in other directions. He was more concerned about what I was looking for than closing a deal. Not very common in sales today. I will go back to Weisner because of David's customer service. Purchased 2 Vehicles in one day 3 months ago and have been treated like total garbage ever since. Signing those papers is the worst decision I've EVER made. I recently took my 2007 Hyundai Veracruz in for service. We were having issues with the battery and we also were seeing multiple dashboard icons pop up. My first impression was a poor battery but after replacing the battery we realized it was not the problem. We called Service and spoke to Cindy. She was courteous and friendly. She is what you would expect out of a good service advisor. Cindy is the reason I am not giving a single star. Once the diagnostic came back, 36 HOURS later, they informed me that the altenator was the issue. The qoute on parts and labor for an altenator was $802. I repeat, $802 for an altenator with service labor. I took my car to Firestone down the street and out the door it was $341. I realize this was not a genuine Hyundai part but honestly there should not be that kind of mark up for something as common as a labor and parts for an altenator. If you like to spend an obsurd amount of money then head to Wiesner. read more

Dropped my car off for simple service and they ended up taking almost a full two weeks to be finished to find out in the end they had my car done almost a week prior to when telling me it was ready. I do not recommend unless u want to deal with the unprofessional employees. And on top of this when receiving the car back we had further issues then before. read more

Five stars for having a relatively hassle-free car buying experience. We came here to buy a new car because we heard good things about their sales department. My husband had bought a Hyundai from a different dealership in the Houston area and had felt deceived at the end because after they shook hands on a deal, there were suddenly all these "little" extras they threw in that significantly raised the price, so he did his research to find a place that didn't do this. We had a great experience with salesmen Mark Statler and Mason (as great of an experience as you can while buying a car, that is) and didn't have any surprise add-ons at the end of the process. Mason was new to Hyundai but did a great a job; Mark was experienced and knowledgeable about features of the different cars. They were friendly and helped us put our car seat in several different cars and figure out which features and which model we really needed. And we felt like we got a good deal at the end of the day! read more

Let voice mail for maintenance department twice, then after no response, left message on service manager, Rick Brandon's voice mail. No response from anyone. I have never had a bad experience at Wiesner Hyundai from buying to maintenance. They didn't have the car I wanted in stock but they located it for me. I made my purchase even though they cautioned me it probably would not be delivered in time for the surprise I had planned. I kept checking over the next few days and the answer was always, "We are trying, but it really doesn't look like there is any way it will be here in time." I understood and accepted the situation because they had warned me from the start. Then they called me the day before my event and told me they'd sent one of their employees to the next state just to drive it back so it would be delivered in time. Truly exceptional customer service. On the maintenance side, Cindy Black in service is exceptional and goes the extra mile. Had a great experience this past week buying a new car with Wiesner. I dealt with their internet sales manage completely over email to purchase my Santa Fe, and they were nice enough to drive the car in town and complete the paperwork at my house! The car did have an issue with the AC, which was quickly fixed by the service department once I brought the car in. Never dealt with them in the past. made the drive out from Houston after speaking to one of their online contacts, Nancy. she had me talk to Randy Todd on the phone who answered a few questions on the phone for me. Nancy had already given me true car pricing on a base model sonata and then mentioned that they had a hybrid sonata that was actually a better deal. We drove out on memorial day to look at the vehicles, we already own a 2011 Sonata. test drove both the base model and the hybrid. The buying process was very smooth, the prices were with Nancy had already quoted me on the phone. Outside of having to wait for Randy... In fairness he had three customers show up at the same time...The process went very quickly, very smoothly and I highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a vehicle. I really wish I had looked for my GMC truck at this dealership as well. One thing that I found out after buying both vehicles, the dealership I bought my truck from is a corporate dealership that owns multiple dealerships in the area wall this dealership is family owned. I have to tell you; Cindy Black out did herself this time. Not only were our cars taken care of in an outstanding fashion (as usual). Mrs. Black recommend a window cleaning foam product to clean my wife's windows and discovered it was not in stock at your dealership. That did not stop her from finding and providing the window cleaning foam. The next day when I went to pick up my vehicle, she had gone to a local auto parts store and with her own money purchased the window cleaning foam. She would not let me reimburse her for her time and trouble. I wanted to recognized Cindy for her outstanding customer service. Made an appt to have my oil changed. Appt was for 10:40 AM. Arrived at 10:40 and was told that they would get my car right in. An hour later it was still sitting. I was told that the appt was for the service writer not the service....not written or posted anywhere. Dealership mgr or owner came by service to thank everyone for their busi ess, my husband stated that we had been waiting for over an hour to get oil changed, with an appt. He appeared to agree that it was not acceptable. A few minutes later the service writer came back and stated they had applied a discount. Not too excited about that because I was getting one anyway for making an appt online. After 90 minutes, we were told they just needed to run it through the car wash. That took over 30 minutes!!! When I went to pay, I just made a statement that it must have been the best car wash ever for the amount of time it took. Service writer was still very snooty and again stated that our appt wasnt for service. If you make an appt for anywhere else, it is for the actual service! Very BAD customer service!! read more

Wiesner is not the closest Hyundai dealership to my house, but I decided to go there because it was highly recommended by one of our friends who just purchased a car from them. The staff was knowledgeable and polite. I particularly liked the fact that we didn't feel pressured by any of the salesman to make a purchase. Instead, they worked to understand my needs and budget. They paid top dollar for the car I was trading in, and we agreed on a great deal on the Sanata Fe Sport I wanted to buy. Visited the dealership based on the ad in the Woodlands Villager. Went the day after ad came out. Ad stated 13,939$ several to choose. Sales rep said we haven't had those for sometime. Finally, offered a demo model for 3061$ more. Walked out of the new car office to find a 2013 Elantra LImited 5000miles 11,988$ on the used car side. Not available. Then offered a 2011 Sonata for 15,988$ ,47,500 miles,bumper held on with a wood screw, two bald tires, a steering column with a bad bearing. Most blatant example of false advertising I've ever experienced. The sales reps were ok. I lay the blame on the back office management. Don't go to this dealer based on their newspaper ad. I was moving to Texas from the NE and needed to get my first new car. I decided on Hyundai Ioniq SEL in blue which was in limited supply so started looking at each Houston dealership. Through TrueCar I was connected to Weisner and ended up speaking with Frank. Though they didn't have the blue SEL in stock he offered to ship it from elsewhere and ended up offering the best deal in the Houston area right off the bat. I was able to get a better deal from an Austin dealership so he then came down enough to make it not worth the drive from Austin. Once I was ready to buy, on site they ended up being able to come down even further through a financing deal. I couldn't believe it. The whole experience was incredibly easy, no hassle, with no gimmicks. Frank was a pleasure to work with, very responsive and respectful, and he even picked me up from the airport the day I arrived in Houston to bring me straight to the dealership to pick up my new car. They would not sell it for that price, they wanted an additional 1800 for a tracking device that I did not want. Bait and switch. Beware. USED CAR BUYER BEWARE!! Bait and Switch... A little background...My son & I had an extremely trying day driving across town to view a car that we intended to buy, but the salesman was so rude and unprofessional that we left to return home & resume our search. We found similar car at Wiesner for a little more & called ahead explaining that we had had a terrible experience and I was not someone who wanted to deal with gimmicks or misleading info., asked for honesty about pricing negotiation, would drive the distance and even pay more money to deal with straight forward, professional dealer but did not want to waste their time or mine. Dustin alternately suggested that price negotiations were possible in person, encouraged us to look at car and mentioned a tracking option that was installed on the vehicle that was valued over $1300 and that if we didn't want it, he could always try to work on that to negotiate on price. He did NOT mention that this little 'add on' was NOT included in the price as advertised. Of course, I assumed it was part of the listed price & immediately said that we would not be interested in that perk. At one point during our phone conversations, I was inadvertently connected to Ken, Sales Mgr. who seemed surprised that I had been connected to him & asked about what was going on. I explained that I was waiting on a call back from Dustin & proceeded to also ask him about possibility of price negotiation on the car we were interested in. He mumbled something about being surprised at his own internet listed price b/c the car was recently marked down and I again requested honesty in negotiations stating that I did not wish to drive the distance if there was no way to consider better pricing. He too insisted that sitting across the desk from the salesman would be best. After speaking again to Christian a few minutes later, he mentioned that he did not want to mislead me, but he would do his best to reduce price closer to our goal & coming in would be best. In retrospect, his style of answering questions was circular concerning pricing and left me confused as to whether it was worth it to come in but decided to give it a try after looking at reviews about the dealership and their 'trusting community...Buy for Less at Wiesner' attitude. After 40min. drive ea way + $10 toll ea way & a test drive later, we were presented an offer at $3K OVER the original listed price which included that mandatory GPS/tracking option that we did not want! For $2K more, we could have purchased a 2018, 700mi. same model vehicle less than 5 mi. from our home! Christian even had the gall to suggest that if he had known I was coming in, he would have possibly been able to do better for me! How about the customer who is standing right in front of you...what??!! Lesson learned about Wiesner: Misleading advertising, misleading sales pitch, mandatory add on GPS tracking to increase profit margin on used vehicles, not trustworthy and assumption that customers are emotionally driven and ignorant. Since, I am a person who feels that we have a responsibility to let people know when they have been inappropriate, I put in a call to the General Mgr., (Chip) of Wiesner the next day who commented that I was clearly a competent buyer and apologized repeatedly and asked for time to look into the matter to try to do better. He called back with his offer to take off half of the mandatory option that I said I did not want and take off $500. I hope you're paying attention to this...he offered to take off half of the bait & switch markup that should never have been there to begin with! The next day, we purchased the same exact vehicle from an HONEST dealer with 100 more miles and a clean AutoCheck for $3743 LESS!!! read more

Service department is TERRIBLE. Have purchased three cars from this dealer in ten years. Sales department is very nice and have had no problems. However, now trying to schedule warranty service due to issue with new car, not so much. After six weeks of trying to get service scheduled, one wasted trip up there for appointment that never happened, and multiple, multiple calls never returned as well as no answers to emails, I give up. Will take our business elsewhere. I think they use a separate service to schedule appointments, which is a joke. When you show up, actual service people have no idea what you've been told, etc. As a consumer, if you call the service number the dealership provides, you kind of assume you are actually speaking to someone at the location. We had originally stopped by in the morning on the way to an appointment with another dealership. Then, after a long day of shopping, we decided to take another look and ended up buying an Elantra GT. Mike Mrosko was great, no pressure, very patient and knowledgeable. Even the finance part was relatively painless and that's the part I normally hate. Love the giant iPad style electronic desktop that you do all the paperwork on. The jury is still out on the service department though. They were very nice and did squeeze me in on a busy day but I have to say I'm not 100% satisfied with the resolution. I bought the car only the night before and shouldn't be having ANY trouble with it. The car is pulling to the right and I wanted the alignment checked and corrected. They test drove it and rotated the tires which helped the problem a litte bit. My disappointment is that they didn't use the machine to check and align because of something about only getting one free alignment in the first 20,000 miles and they needed to more tread wear to see the issue. I bought this car only the night before so I feel it should be perfect and if not then I shouldn't be subject to having to wait to fix the issue or some routine warranty concerns. Everything possible should have been done to assure me that I haven't bought a lemon. There is also an intermittent rattle from the back seat. Since I have been away overseas for a few weeks now and haven't been driving the car, it's not fair to say for sure but I'm a little concerned that I have bought a "new" car with issues. I don't want to get the run around! That is the sole reason that I'm reluctant to give an excellent rating. It has very little to do with my sales experience, as that was great. However, this is a long term investment and I'm not going to refer someone to Wiesner until I know they take care of their customers even after the deal is done. Fingers crossed, it all works out soon. I'll update this again after I see how things work out. ********** UPDATE ********** I have now moved back to the states and Wiesner Svc Dept had left me a message to follow up on my issue. Called them back and made an appt to come back in. I dealt with a service advisor named Jose on the day of, very friendly and informative. They got my alignment issue resolved and found and silenced a rattle noise I was hearing from the back seat area. All was handled quickly and courteously. I never thought that extended to all parts of the car dealership industry until my experience with Weisner Hyundai. For years, I've brought my FORD and TOYOTA to a dealership for service. And for years, they have never given me cause to think them a bunch of dishonest lowlife until my recent experience with WEISNER Hyuandai. I brought my Sonata in for an airbag recall fix on Nov, 1, 2013. When we dropped it off, Jordan the service rep and myself did a walk around to note any body damages to the car. The only one noted was a scratch on the side of the car that I knew was there as I fell on the car with the car keys. They said it will take 3 hrs. We left. A few hours later I got a call from the sservice rep saying it will actually take more than that as one side will take as much as 3 hrs. So I was told to expect to pick it up later in the evening. Around 6pm, we didn't get a courtesy call, so my husband called. They couldn't locate the paper work. So we figured we would not get the car until the next day. Saturday Nov 3rd, i got a call from Jordan Silvernail around past noon to tell me the car was ready. We went to picked it up close to 2pm when they would close. I did not check the car, as I was used to having our Ford and Toyota serviced at the dealership all the time. And they always take good care of the car. Drove the Sonata home. The next day Sunday, we decided to wash our cars. We noticed this long line on the front bumper. On closer inspected, we saw a ding and scratch on the paint. As I was flying out to SF the next day for an entire week and my hubby was driving to LA that week, I called the dealership to let them know the problem and to tell them that as we were both out of town, we couldn''t bring the car back. I spoke to Philip Martinez, the service manager and he said to bring it in and he'll look at it. But that he could not really know for sure what he can do as we drove the car out of the dealership already NOTE: you can already tell excuses coming up. Today, Nov 11th, I brought it in. He checked it and offered me a "paint pen". He said there is nothing he can do about it as he couldn't know for sure if that happened at the dealership. That is a penny on a hundred dollar consolation fix! This is a 2012 Sonata barely driven, as I work from home. Unlike them, I am an honest person. If I did that myself, I woudn't go chasing after the dealership and have then fix it. But as I know for certain, this was not cause by me, it is very frustrating to have this manager say there is nothing he can do. This was the first time we used this dealership in this hick town, as we just recently moved to the state. But in Las Vegas, and the Bay Area, CA, we have always dealt with dealerships for our car service and never had an issue of coming out with a ding, dent or scratch, as was in this case. For them to allude that I am lying, that I do not appreciate. I filed a case with Hyundai Corp, paid $25 to file a complaint with the CCA. And I will spend time going to all consumer rating sites I can think of, to bring to word out about this dealership in TX! BEWARE YOU CAN NOT TRUST THIS SERVICE CREW! If you do bring your business to this dealership, make sure you check your car TOP TO BOTTOM before leaving their lot. Otherwise, they will wash their hands of it. read more

I was told by Rachelle she could work a deal with my trade to get me into something more affordable. A Sonata hybrid to be exact. My mom was there to co sign and my dad came from all the way by galveston to help with a down-payment. She was ready to get the deal done and had us test dive the car and everything to Make sure we liked it. She never Sat down and took time with us. She was in and out and back and forth. First I was told she could help with 3 cars in mind then it quickly turned into 2 then just one opton...the one she was going to sell us. We waited and waited and they said they were having a hard time and for us to go home and she would call me in the morning. She never called for a day and a half so I called her and she told me she sent and EMAIL to me explaining everything. I checked my email inbox and spam. There was no email from her. She said she could not do the deal because we were late on a car payment and house payment. The house was late over a year ago that does not impact our credit now and the car was not late but deferred over 9 months ago because I called hyundai motor finance to find out that their not even reporting that so called late payment anymore anyway. None of this should have impacted their credit decision. After finding this out I went to another dealer and they pulled the credit and they said besides the low score for my husband nothing was showing bad to case us not to get the loan and my mom's credit was good. So I said to let me pick a car and see if we could be approved. Hyundai of spring did so and the loan was accepted right away with absolutly no problems at all. This leads me to believe Rachelle could not make good on her deal giving false hope she said she could make it happen so instead of coming clean about it...she blamed it on us and our credit. I actually thought I got the car per the email I DID get congratulating me on my new Sonata purchase and to take this review for them. Which still have as proof if needed. I think wiesner hyundai should put me in a more affordable car after all this crap. Plus I would have never gotten in the red in my santa fe if they had not pushed me so hard to get me into it without thoroughly explaining to me what he did to get me into the Santa Fe and how it would effect my loan or I probably would have backed out. Instead it was late and close to closing and so he was rushing me through it. I told him my husband could not sign he was working nights so he told me to come in and sign my husbands name for him which I now regrettably did. So he actually told me to commit fraud to close the deal. I'd be happy to show proof of my signature vrs. my husbands to prove this. Now I'm stuck in a car I'm 13,000 upside down in because of frank and no one will touch us to get out of it and now I'm looking at having to have the car reposessed. Am I happy...no, would I refer a friend..never. would I ever go back to wiesner... hell no unless they would fix this properly. wiesner Hyundai will screw you to make a deal. The car is great BUT The car came with only one key (the salesman said he would check if there was another one and get back with me but never did) and no driver's manual - this is fine - but then there was no satellite radio, hands free phone, or rain-sensing wipers. This is again not a big deal but that is how they advertised the vehicle and it becomes a bummer when you thought it was going to come with it, and it doesn't. While we were going through the purchasing process, the salesman asked how I liked the vehicle and he said to call him with any questions I had because he knew these cars. I called him with questions, which he said he would relay to his mechanic, then never got back with me. traded my 2014 Jeep for a 2015 GMC Canyon. Paperwork was done quickly, sales was wonderful. Only drawback was getting the truck. Service took hours to detail the truck for pick up. Not sure why it took so long but was told twice they were waxing it and it still took hours after signing waiting for it. Other than that it was one of the best vehicle buying experiences. read more
