Fast service, we had gotten some mozzarella sticks and gobbled those up! Once our food got to us we got to eat the delicious food that's of course expected from a wing place! The K.O burger was a personal favorite and of you're a fry connoisseur then you'd love their fries! Nice and krispy! Such a cool vibe listening to people enjoy some karaoke and honestly you wouldn't expect for it to have a list of people waiting to sing but it was an awesome surprise

Smelled like piss as soon as you walk in the door. Assumed it was the urinals as this place seemed more like a bar. Seated and order taken quick. Shortly after receiving food, buddy spotted a pair of rats chasing each other down a sprinkler line.

$15 "Extra crispy" six-piece buffalo hot... saggy chicken skin and bland sauce.

If an establishment is called "Wicked Wings" then you'd think they'd deliver on their namesake... they didn't! I understand theres a rise in market value on bone-in wings, but $15 for a six-piece? Give me a break! At least they'll be some good a$$ wings, right? Wrong! I asked for mine extra crispy/well-done and received them soggy as can be. I can't imagine how undercooked the regular wings are. Their hot buffalo sauce was also bland. Granted, I only tried one flavor today, but I definitely won't be going back to try more.

Locals only very much. Good luck getting the bartender's attention if you're not a regular.

The wings are to expensive... especially since it's not a wing place but a bar...I think that says enough.

Wings are good, fried pickles are better than I've had other places. I'd get food from there again

I ordered a drink,…read moreclarified the tequila I wanted, and asked for salt on the rim, completely normal requests when paying premium prices for cocktails. Instead of basic customer service, I was met with attitude, irritation, and eventually being called "bro" and spoken to disrespectfully in front of other people. I work in service myself, so I'm usually very understanding, but this experience completely killed the vibe of the night. If you're going to charge upscale lounge prices, the staff should know how to treat customers professionally instead of acting annoyed that someone wants their order made correctly.

They have a tiny parking lot which is OK for smaller shows, but they will charge you $20 to park at bigger shows like Juvenile tonight or Psych Fest. The only other parking option is in the residential streets about 5 minutes walk down the road. But I feel extremely bad for the people in those homes who were there before this venue started doing big concerts. With that said...it used to be a cool little bar with a large covered tent stage and they decided that wasn't big enough. It's also sooooo far South. They charge a 20% "TIP" automatically on every bar purchase. So an IPA was nearly $17. Unless C3 or Live Nation has bought them this is just insane. While this is legal...if it's mandatory, it's not a "tip" under IRS rules -- it's a service charge. That means it belongs to the business, not automatically to the server. That's F'd up and they need to change the language on that.

Bright and sunny, wide open with lots of natural light, tasteful hanging planters, and minimalist decor, there's nowhere to hide. It's a place to see and be seen, but not nearly as pretentious as that sounds. They just care about the details and it shows, including the attentive service and well balanced drinks. Though I feel like I should crawl back into the dark, dank dive bars that I know best, it's a gorgeous breath of fresh air for those good hair days. Generous parking lot, easy off the highway, good evening hours. The only thing I'll knock it for is being so far south! Anyone in the neighborhood has better treasure this place, since I won't be able to get out there that often.

This entire place feels like a cash grab following the mezcal trend. It's positioned as being a tequila/mezcal spot but their drinks are more basic than cocktails I can order at the airport. When I asked questions about the mezcal they use and offer the bartenders replies were always dealt with either annoyance and limited info or just an "I don't know." Plus it's $$$ you tip on top of the tip they already add but say nothing about? The basic cocktails that are known as Mexican street vendor drinks (not supposed to be $$$) can cost you over $20 alone! Then to be shady about tipping ... cash grab without a good experience. The there's the atmosphere... very limited parking shared with MANY other more busy bars, super loud inside because of no soft surfaces, and the worst part of all... the bench seats are built just tall enough that unless you're super tall, you'll have to sit at the edge of the bench and actively practice good posture. This more than the other things makes me want to leave immediately. You designed a bar to be pretty but in no way functional to its use. It's been a while since my last visit and honestly I chalked all this up to Austin's trend chasing entrepreneurs typical disconnected launch until I had AMAZING cocktails at another new spot that truly impressed with their same priced cocktails that were far far more intricate and creative PLUS they didn't try to con me out of more tip AND their space was warm, and inviting with truly exceptional customer service. That experience reminded me that inflation isn't the only thing making life more expensive ... it's also businesses delivering far less value than promised and demanding we are supremely grateful for their limited effort. If you don't want to leave the neighborhood but you still want a somewhat decent margarita .... it ain't here. Pay half the price at Bodhi's in the same parking lot.

Imagine Lala's feels like a chill, comfy neighborhood bar where you can actually enjoy yourself, and the ambiance, and have a conversation with whoever you came with, instead of a tourist clogged beehive? Because BOOM that's Lala's South Pole. I'm not even a big Christmas person, and I am smitten. Charming, quite, festive. It feels like a hidden gem. I probably shouldn't be reviewing it so it can stay that way, but no one like a gatekeeper. Also, absolute baller pizza from Brooklyn Pie Co. I had to really talk myself down from going back the next night just for more pizza. The service is... well what you would expect from a "trendy" Austin dive bar, as in... None, but that's part of the charm kind of? I've actually tried a lot of new pizza places lately and this is what stands out in my mind. Drinks wise? It's a bar. They serve you alcohol.
