This place should be renamed Wicked Slow. I ordered two items through a link provided by my child's school (The Student Council Holiday Shop) on November 12th to give as Christmas gifts. First, I inquired via email about sizing because one item had a size chart and the other did not. The website says, "Do not hesitate to contact our offices regarding sizing questions." I received a one phrase, not helpful answer. I asked a more specific question and received the same one phrase, not helpful answer. I took my best guess. I received an email on December 19th that the shipment was on its way but the tracking link included in the email indicated it didn't reach the USPS facility. I inquired about this and was told some packages didn't receive a scan, but not to worry, I should receive an update soon. I'm not sure if that is true or not, but I didn't receive it by Christmas. I would like to report on the quality and size, but I still have yet to receive it.
When I complained via email that the order did not arrive in time for Christmas, I unfortunately received a very long reply not unlike their responses to Yelp and Google reviews. It seems nothing is ever their fault and they always do everything right. Their responses to reviews range from childish to downright rude.
Their email response said that USPS picked up my order on December 19th and that with shipping delays, it was "out of their hands". They said they already "expressed their frustration with USPS". To whom did they express their frustration? Not to me (until now). If that was the case, why not inform customers? They could have send out a blanket email telling customers to pick up their orders if they wanted them for Christmas. Within their response, the quote "we did everything we could to make sure you had your items in time for the holidays" is clearly incorrect.
They also indicated they met their timeframe based on what is stated on their web store: "The time frame given on the web store's homepage stated that all orders would be ready for pick up or shipped between December 16th and December 22nd. We met that time frame for you." This is FALSE. Their web store says "Expected delivery of orders is the week beginning December 16th-22nd." The word "delivery" is vague, perhaps intentionally, but here it seems to mean the handing over to the recipient, not the sending out of the orders. They should use the phrase "expected shipping of orders..." instead. Other web stores on their site clearly indicate that Christmas delivery cannot be guaranteed. This phrase is not on the web store from which I ordered.
Mail delivery couldn't have been that bad because at the same time, the school had another web store with a similar company that does screen printing. I received a USPS notice that my order was shipped on December 16th and received the items on December 18th.
Coincidentally, my child is involved in a sport outside of school and a company in California provides their customized apparel. I ordered from this company at the same time and that order arrived more than a month before Christmas!
I probably wouldn't have written this review save for their long and unhelpful response to my email. It was after the fact - a simple "sorry" would have been sufficient. read more
