I find that is important to support non-commercial stores and am trying my best. I visited, found a wonderful gift, and had it personalized. HOWEVER, the staff (2 upon my visit and 2 upon picking up the gift the following week- may have been the same people each time), were unfriendly and unpleasant, even for the short time of our interaction. If a small business is to thrive and for word-of-mouth to assist in their journey, they need to remember who they are and what they are competing against (big business booming with baby items). I will never again visit this store which had so much potential. It's one thing to simply be doing business with customers, but it is another to have a frown and treat the customer like you are doing them a favor. Good luck, Clearly Yours. Wits End in Clifton Park is a really neat, very expansive store. Every time I go in, I feel like I could walk around for an hour and still not see everything. They have all kinds of decorations, and if you are looking for unique Christmas ornaments or special decor pieces, this place is absolutely worth checking out. It is not just seasonal either, there are gifts and decorative items for all times of year. They even carry clothing. The prices are not cheap, but the store has an upscale aura and I personally do not mind paying more for items that feel unique and well chosen. It does not feel like a big box store, it feels more like a specialty shop where you find things you would not see everywhere else. I have heard people say the staff walk around and watch customers closely. Honestly, I can understand why. The layout has to be a security challenge, there are multiple rooms, different levels, and even an upstairs. I would imagine shoplifting could be an issue in a store set up like this. For me, the staff have always been friendly and helpful. I actually wonder how they keep track of where everything is in a place that big, that alone is impressive. Around Christmas time it gets very busy, which says a lot about how popular it is. I usually make it in about once a year during the holidays, but you could shop here anytime for unique gifts. The only thing that feels a little off putting to me is the number of signs about broken ornaments and being charged 50 percent if something is damaged. I do understand why they have them, a lot of people do not watch their kids closely and accidents happen, and adults break things too. Still, seeing the signs all over the place does change the feel a bit. That said, it definitely does not stop me from coming in. Overall, I really enjoy this store and always find something interesting when I visit.

DO NOT GO HERE, avoid at all costs!…read more Absolutely horrible experience, ruined my wedding ring and so rude and unprofessional. Do not risk bringing your jewelry here, they will ruin it and take no responsibility, it's clear they don't know what they're doing. Brought my wedding ring in for a loose main prong, received it back weeks later with the prong even looser than when I brought it to them, with two stones completely missing which were perfectly fine before, and a huge black resin burn on the main diamond. Not only did they not fix what they were supposed to, they sent my ring back mangled. I have no idea how or why this would happen and how they wouldn't notice this before returning it to me. They also apparently don't take photos or videos of rings before and after repair for documentation, which is wildly unprofessional and is basically jewelry repair 101. Thankfully I took my own photos as evidence, as we're suing the company for the cost to repair the damage they did. They also don't do the repairs in store, which they weren't transparent about, and send it out to god knows where, so be further warned that it's a massively sketchy and unprofessional operation. On top of having no skills as a jeweler, their customer service is atrocious and they treat customers like garbage once they have your money. When I called to discuss my concerns with the state of my ring, the old woman working was immediately defensive, insulting, rude, and accused me of lying and swore at me. Not sure what I would gain by lying about their botched job, I just wanted the situation rectified. She also admitted they don't do repairs in house and don't take pictures or document what is damaged and what they fixed, insanely unprofessional and a scam of a business. They should be ashamed of how they damage pieces that mean the world to people, and then treat and talk to customers horribly. Save soo much time, frustration and heartbreak and go to a business with actual skill and integrity and who treats their customers as they deserve. Edited to address business comments below: Ma'am, I did not swear at you, and have the recorded call as proof of your unprofessionalism and rudeness. You did offer to 'fix' the damage, but who in their right mind would trust you with their jewelry for a second time to fix the issues you carelessly caused, after you sent back my ring with the original issue not fixed, and more damage added on top of it, that you didn't even notice? Insane. For you to say 'I did not want this done', is wild, I shouldn't have to bring my ring back to repair burns you left while not even fixing my issue. Potential customers, do you really want to put your trust and jewelry in the hands of unknown 'contractors'? Very sketchy. Even if my mom was happy with past, non complex, jobs you did, it doesn't mean this one wasn't a total disaster that you did not take accountability for. Megan Olson, one of the in-house jewelers, quickly assessed my need and suggested a custom solution which could be constructed that afternoon. She showed me the materials, explained how she would connect the safety and carefully measured so it would fit securely. The price was very reasonable. The work was completed within the hour. I've been wearing the watch for almost a month since the work was done and the safety is very secure and works perfectly! I was pleasantly surprised they could accommodate an out of town walk-in customer and accept a rush job so late in the day. The watch safety provided peace of mind during the rest of my travels. My only regret is that Truman Jewelers is not located in my home state! My trusted local jeweler retired and I wish I could find a company like Truman's in my area to replace my past jeweler. I value professionalism, excellent workmanship, good value and being treated with friendly courtesy. Truman Jewelers delivered all of that and more. Even more impressive since they knew I was a visitor and wasn't a potential long term customer!

She is the ONLY kid on the team that did not get this bag. We decided late to add her name to the bag and were told it was an extra $5... cool, we will pay this additional fee once the bag comes in. We received an invoice for $5 from Wicked Smart .. however I was waiting to pay the bill until we got confirmation that bag was actually in their facility. I called today and they told me it was in but I needed to pay the $6.48 invoice. I then said "you mean $5 invoice that I received on 2/4/22?" Their response was "someone quoted you wrong price and it's actually $6" I then advised them that I received an invoice for $5 and why is it more? "That is the price, $6" I know it's only a $1 but I don't understand how they can just decide to re-invoice me because some that works for them screwed up. I own a small business and I would NEVER do this to my customer, especially if it meant keeping the customer happy and coming back. I would just waive the $1 difference. The guy on the phone was very dismissive and basically told me "it is what it is, we won't start working on it until you pay the invoice" On top of all of that, they won't even let me pick up the bag, I have to depend on the coach taking time to go get it... I will NEVER do business with these people again.
